Loved the whole experience. Learnt so much about Jamaican life which was very interesting. The bamboo rafting was such a relaxing time with our guide on the raft being so friendly and helpful. Both my friend and myself have arthritic knees but we’re still able to get on and off the raft. The food was lovely, be weary of the rum punch as it can be lethal😂. The final boat trip to the luminous lagoon was the best experience ever. Floating in the water looking up at the stars. Truly amazing.

Driver and guide asked for tips, captain on river asked for tip, boat driver asked for tip and fire eater asked for tip, it was ridiculous! Enjoyed Martha brae experience but captain didn’t really speak very much. Rep from Tui said no insects at lagoon - we all got bitten by insects. Lagoon is full of thick mud not good to swim in. Food at lagoon was good and fire eater was excellent. Lots of standing around waiting for boat trip.

Rafting was good. The food was really bad uncooked chicken with blood present. Returned the food 3 times in the end everyone gave up and everyone left their food salmonella potential!! We were left on the bus for nearly 3 hours waiting for the boat trip. Eventually got on the boat and saw nothing no swimming!! no glow from the bay we all were cold and annoyed and wanted to get back to our hotels. What a rip off!!!

The river rafting was really good and the meal was enjoyable but the luminous lagoon was a big let down. It did not live upto the expectations of the brochure, you could hardly see the luminous organisms therefore making the trip overall overpriced.

The vehicle had really seen better days with the backs of seats coming away and handles missing. The highlight was our guide, Viviene who gave us more information about Jamaica in the first half hour than the other guides did in 2 x full day trips. She made the whole experience informative and enjoyable. The luminous lagoon is an experience not to be missing. We're back next year and will book again.

Martha Brae rafting was a pleasurable experience. However, the guide trying push a foot scrub & his carved wares whilst on the raft too much. Especially given we were told that we needed no money! Also, the raft guide picked up the pace once we declined his offerings. Luminous Lagoon, total waste of money & time! Too much waiting around, luminous water not as portrayed hardly glowed. Dinner served undercooked & could not leave until after a fire show.

Busfahrer perfekt, hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Reiseleiter machte den Job aber nicht mehr. Wir hatten eine Deutschereiseleitung gebucht, leider wurde diese kurz zuvor abgesagt. Mein Mann versteht kaum englisch, war doof für ihn, hatte kaum Zeit zum übersetzen.

Martha Brae cruise on the bamboo boat was phenomenal, our captain Franklin was lovely. It’s a very long journey from Lucea and even further from Negril which makes it a long a long day! Luminous lagoon was good, food not the best and drinks very expensive. We got to see the glowing though which I know doesn’t always happen so we were lucky.

Der Bus war unbequem und schlecht gewartet. Die Straßen voller Schlaglöcher. Der guide sprach teilweise unverständliches Englisch und war insgesamt wenig interessiert an der Gruppe. Kaum Informationen über Land und Leute. Das Rafting war gut organisiert und ein schönes Erlebnis. Es gab lange Wartezeit zwischen den Programmpunkten. Luminous lagoon entsprach gar nicht den Versprechungen. Insgesamt zu viele unbequeme Kilometer für wenig Spaß!

Der Ausflug war sehr schön und unsere Reiseleiterin war so mega toll. Eine sehr nette und herzliche Frau. Die Floßfahrt ist ein tolles Erlebnis. Würden wir wieder buchen, obwohl die Preise schon sehr hoch sind, wir haben allerdings festgestellt, dass alles, egal was, teuer ist.

Der Ausflug insgesamt ist zu empfehlen. Es ist nur schade das das Essen etwas dürftig war und Getränke extra nachbestellt werden mussten. Alkoholische Getränke sollten extra sein, aber alkoholfrei müsste doch mitbei sein.

Het bamboe raften was een leuke ervaring. Ondanks het slechte weer. De stuurman jimmie maakte voor ons een hoop goed De blue lagoon hadden we meer van verwacht. Het water lichtte inderdaad iets op, maar niet zo spectaculair als ons is voorgespiegeld. De heenreis zou 45 minuten duren, maar door het ophalen van andere mensen hebben we ruim 2 uur in de bus gezeten. Dit viel ons erg tegen. Vind de prijs hoog voor hetgeen wat je ervoor terug krijgt.

Eerst een half uur staan wachten zonder door te krijgen dat de tijd is aangepast. Uiteindelijk zelf maar naar Tui gelopen en toen werd er wat lakoniek gereageerd dat er een melding was gestuurd via de app. Samen de app doorlopen maar was niks van te zien. Daarna door naar bamboorafting. Dit was prima. Toen door naar het eten. Dit was waardeloos. Eten was zeer matig en hier hebben wij ruim 2 uur ! moeten wachten tot we de boot op mochten.

Zeer leuk om met het bamboovlot op de rivier te raften. De captain gaf onderweg ook nog extra uitleg over Jamaica en leerde ons wat patwa. Onderweg staan er verkopers maar ze blijven even vriendelijk als je niets wilt kopen. Zwemmen in de lagoon was ook een bijzondere ervaring die je met je eigen ogen moet gezien hebben. De zonsondergang en vuurshow was een mooie plus!

Only thing that could be improved is the food! Paula and Desmond our tour guide/ driver were great. Becky from TUI was fabulous in helping us arrange and book the tour, and checked in to see if we enjoyed it too - nice touch! It is a long day, with lots of time on the coach, some people might prefer if the trip could be broken up with a stop.

Our tour guide & driver were brilliant - We were taught about the history of the island and about the culture and people in Jamaica. It was great to see how passionate and proud they were to be Jamaican. Very friendly and fun. The whole trip was great - the guides at the location were brilliant too!

Het vlot ,water was te kalm en dit heet dobberen Advies waterschoenen kopen totaal niet nodig Boottrip ,(kansloos) 50 meter vanaf de kade is veel te weinig voor het bedrag wat het koste Eten in het restaurant slecht , Kortom een dag die zijn geld niet waard was -teleurstelling

There was a mix up with the numbers at Matha Brae leaving us waiting nearly 40 minutes before boarding our rafts. A clerical error somewhere. One person was close to being told they would not be able to ride. The guide resolved it professionally but this should not have happened.

The Martha bray part of the tour was lovely The lumionous lagoon was hit and miss Was not sure what was happening Not tuis fault but the photos that were taken were really not good which was disappointing as we hoped to capture the experience - it was all so rushed with people being told to get in the water and then pose for a photo and then next group - it felt like a cattle market. After the boat it was franetic with no one quite knowing what to do

Started badly as we were crammed in coach then had a pointless 30 min stop at a souvenir shop. Getting tickets for raft took ages too ..surely they can be pre bought. Thereafter I have to say everything was excellent , the rating , the lake experience and the fire show and the guide was really good keeping us together

Vond het leuk op river raft. Leuke man. Eten en restaurant heel fijn. Wel lang wachten voor wij op de boot kwam. Allebei niet in het water, zo de blauwe licht wat minder. Gids heel aardig en grappig, lieve vrouw van Jamaica.

The trip was enjoyable & an afternoon/evening. The guide was fun but the driver gave the most information about the areas we travelled through. Unfortunately the rafting experience wasn’t quite as expected as it had been raining so water moving faster & not clear. Our raft captain Oneil was very informative & we learnt lots about Jamaican culture, wildlife & how much training they do to get their captain licence. Meal was good. Lagoon a bit disappointing but good to experience the glow ;)

Take more cash than you think you will need, $40 for pictures at the lagoon which is well worth the money, it was incredible and you cant see it on a normal camera. Also at the rafting the guys make there own craft items to sell you, they are stunning but again you need cash around $40.

Martha Brea was an enjoyable experience. The luminous lagoon was not as expected, very underwhelming. Was expecting the lagoon to be luminous, and was no such thing. Would not recommend this trip. If it was sold as a boat ride to see the sunset, then I would have been happy. Not worth the money paid.

Het rafften was erg leuk en het geld meer dan waard. Het zwemmen vonden wij niks van de 4.5 uur hebben we 3.5 uur of rond gereden of zitten wachten het eten was wel goed.

Loved the whole experience was really interesting to know the guide on our raft worked on this for 39 years so gave us a bit to insight into the culture and the different trees, reptiles and birds but no crocodiles the food after was amazing you either choose fried chicken or jerk chicken the limbo fire eater was amazing if not a little crazy all in all good end to the day

The actual martha brae raft ection was lovely and a great experience, however before we got here it seemed the driver + guide were 'killing time' by taking us on a driving tour around Falmouth pointing out the tax office, the police station, the court house etc which felt like a huge waste of time and pointless. The guys and captain at Martha Brae though were great.

Denis our guide was great, really informative, great communication and tips. Linford our raft captain was entertaining, gave us loads of information, yet still allowed us to chill and take it all in. Food and drink was simple but good. Lagoon experience was well worth it, boat captain was funny, there was plenty of space. There was no trip to Falmouth or the church that as mentioned in the description, this would have fitted between dinner and going on the lagoon. Overall we had a good time.

die Bambusflossfahrt war super! weiterfahrt zum Restaurant und glei ABENDESSEN um 16.15. das Essen war war eine Katastrophe. Das Poulet war so zäh, dass mann fast Erstickte. Danach warteten wir 3 Std !!!!! bis die Lagoonenfahrt los ging. es war Schei...... das ganze war Überteuert!!!!

I thought both experiences were well over priced. £200 for my wife and I to spend 45 minutes on basically a lazy river ride was not value for money. £70 for 30 minutes on the Blue Lagoon boat ride was to me a complete waste of money. You only got to see any luminous blue colour if you actually jumped in the water and agitated it yourself. Very disappointing experience.

The whole trip was fantastic, the rafting was great, real calming experience, the lagoon was amazing, great fun to swim in the dark and see it light up around you, also the food supplied was really enjoyable

Die Rafting Tour war top. Verpflegung während des Ausflugs eine Katastrophe. Den deutschsprachigen Guide hat man nicht gebraucht da er nichts zu den jeweiligen stops gesagt hat aber er was trotzdem ein sehr netter und unterhaltsamer Mann. Die ganze Tour ist keine 20 Dollar wert. Schlimmster Ausflug den wir in unserem Urlaub jemals hatten

Martha Brad was excellent value for money. Knowledgeable guide and safe driver. The Luminous Lagoon however was a disappointment. In my opinion the boat was overcrowded making it difficult to change into swim wear swim return dry oneself and change into dry clothes. The whole boat trip was approximately 30mins. This could have been better managed with space to fully enjoy the experience.

The Guide was informative on the drive there but then disappeared once she delivered us, joining our coach at the end of each part of the journey, as she spent time with other tour guides

The rafting was fantastic, loved every minute of it , very relaxing , the luminous lagoon was rubbish , we got to the place had food then had to wait ages for it to get dark , went out on a boat , people jumped in , it was pitch black , but there was no colour change , don’t waste your money on the lagoon just book the rafting

Unser kapitän auf dem Flos hat dermassen gas gegeben und hat alle die vor uns los gefahren sind überhol. Dafü mussten wir dann am Ziel zirka 15 minuten auf die anderen warten bis die Gruppe auch kam. Schade!

When we arrived at the luminous lagoon we seemed to get left to our own devices! We were led to a table where we ate and signed the wavier forms. Then we were sort of left, there was no information as to what time we expected to go onboard, where to meet as a group and what happens next! Our rep eventually was calling us to the front to get onboard. The issue was not her efforts which were good but the lack of information, I was in a strange place in a strange country it’s no idea what was next

Flussfahrt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Reisebegleitung drängt zu Abfahrtsterminen und lässt uns dann 25 Minuten warten. Die Fahrt mit dem Boot war O. K. die Anzahl der Personen am Boot war zu groß, besonders wenn dann noch im Meer bei Dunkelheit gebadet werden kann und alle Teilnehmer mit nasser Badekleidung zurück an Bord kommen und das ohne Licht beim Abtrocknen und Umziehen. Das Essen war mittelmäßig und das Huhn teilweise noch roh.

Our guide was great and driver has excellent driving skills. Rafting was nice but felt a bit pressured to purchase something. Our tip to raft guide seemed unappreciative. I think expected more. The price we paid was quite high do we thought a few dollars per person would have been sufficient The lagoon swim and guide on boat was excellent and really enjoyable. Our guide made sure we had a vegetarian option for our meal. It was also very nice

Bei einem deutschen Reiseveranstalter würde ich mir zumindest eine zweisprachige Reiseleitung erwarten. Es wurde zwar eine deutsche Reiseleitung angeboten, jedoch kam nie die erforderliche Zahl von acht deutsch sprechenden Gästen zustande.

This excursion cost us close to $400 ($378), which is almost what we paid for our roundtrip airfare, for 2, from Newark to Jamaica. While the experience was lovely, and the guide delightful, this was definitely not worth the price. The "included" dinner was a dry piece of chicken and some rice, and the "visit to Falmouth," which we thought was going to involve shopping and sightseeing, was a 5 minute stop outside a church. Not at all worth the exorbitant cost. Skip the damned tourist traps!
