This experience has adventure stamped all over it. Off-road buggy or safari truck rides, traditional Taino ceremonies and swimming in underground pools make for an adrenaline-pumping evening from Punta Cana. Juan, one of our local guides, says ‘Caves and cenotes played an important role in the indigenous Taino culture. Despite looking so tempting with their cool aquamarine water, the Taino people never swam in the cenotes or used the water because of their belief that they were a gateway to the underworld.' Plus, you'll enjoy a Dominican dinner and an open bar followed by live music.To kick off your all-action evening, you'll power through the Dominican countryside, zoom along dirt tracks and watch as the landscape transforms from day to night. Guided by torchlight, you'll continue your journey to take a swim in a natural cave pool, known as a cenote, with atmospheric lighting. And if you choose the safari truck option, you'll also get to visit the eerie depths of Yara Cave.With flaming torches lighting the way, you'll make your way back to base for a well-earned drink and a tasty dinner of local cuisine. The restaurant staff pride themselves on creating classic Dominican dishes, freshly prepared with seasonal produce from the island. Rounding off the evening is a traditional Taino dance show and the chance to join in with a boogie or enjoy the open bar under the stars.

The arrival "shop" was very disorganised not sure where we were ment to be - first thing basket's wear hande out for shopping? ! Then $70 for photos!! The buggy ride was very good the staff were very professional. The history of Dominican could have had more information , but entering . The cave was stunning but the DJ and the noise was not what we expected. The food was buffet and nothing on the food to say what you were eating- overall mixed views

An excellent evening out! Driving the buggies was a great adrenaline rush, then a bit of Dominican history and culture followed by a disco in a cave pool. Food was delicious and afterwards onto a carnival disco. Excellent value for money. Make sure you bring a towel and a change of clothes. Overall highly recommend

Was a great excursion,, if it had been as advertised on the tui app, however, staff were amazing. Unfortunately the app description advised 1 hour buggy drive, with 20 minutes extra exclusively for tui customers. That didn't happen, the buggy drive lasted for 30 minutes only, therefore it was not value for money making it an expensive excursion.

From start to finish we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The experience driving the Buggy’s was really good fun, we enjoyed the traditional dance and Dominican buffet, the cave in the rave we weren’t expecting but still had a great time! Staff were so friendly and really easy to get along with. Overall a really enjoyable evening!!!

Absolute amazing experience, 100% would pay to do this again. From stepping off the bus, staff was so energetic and friendly. Amazing food, fantastic show and experience provided, DJ was top-notch! There is nothing i could fault at all. Woukd recommend everyone should do this excursion, really do get more than your money worth. The party in the cave... just wow! Me and my partner loved every second

The event was amazing and would definitely recommend. It would of been nice to have been told the travelling time and also the rep told us there would be towels available but there wasn't. The transfer transport going there was disappointing as the driver spent most of the time on his phone talking and messaging which seemed very unsafe.

When we arrived at the buggies, it was a bit of a free for all, didn’t have the TUI buggy as promised as non TUI people grabbed them. But to be quite honest we went with the whole idea of getting dirty and I think the normal buggies give you that thrill of going through water and getting covered in mud. The show was great and learning the culture, Cenote was amazing

Too many buggies on the path. Could only go a little faster if you let the buggies in front of you gain some distance, but once you caught back up with them, it was back to a slower speed. Overall, it was an awesome excursion. Would definitely do it again.

This trip was so much fun. Was more than we expected. The buggy tour was excellent. Rave in a cave was epic. Learnt about the cigar, Coffee and coco making. Great entertainment throughout. Carnival at the end was great everyone got involved would definitely recommend

Absolutely brilliant experience. Staff were extremely informative, helpful and clear throughout. Buggies were fast enough (50km/h) and exciting on their trails. History of the Taino tribe, the swim in the cenote, food and dancing were all outstanding. Bus picked up on time, towels provided after swim. 10/10 would recommend.

Really expensive for what it was. Disappointing that there was no safe place to keep “luggage” from getting wet and dirty given how wet and dirty it was - actually made it unenjoyable as was trying to stop clothes etc from being ruined. It wasn’t twilight it was pitch black. Also kept being told I was “brave” as a women on my own to do it Wasn’t told it is essentially a “rave in a cave” - wouldn’t have picked this one of would have known!

Great excursion! We stayed in La Romana so the transfer was long, but worth it. Sunset buggies were brilliant – minimal safety briefing but easy to drive. They tried to sell bandanas for $5, but these are included with TUI so hold firm. The Dominican reserve was fascinating and the team were fun (sexy cappuccino!). The cave rave was incredible and the dinner was delicious. Overall, we’d definitely recommend.

Very worthwhile trip! Well organised and lots of different elements to the trip, not just buggy driving. BUT we were told that they provide towels - they don’t so we had no way of drying off after the cenote swimming. We had been advised to take dry clothes so we were prepared for that. The village was immediately after the driving so we were soaking wet and covered in mud so didn’t pay that much attention. Food was good though and so was the dancing afterwards.

Brilliant experience it rained when we went and going through flooded roads added to the fun. Great off roading experience saw a great native Dominican tribal dance and show, Swimming and Dancing in cave pools drinking Mamajuanna and Tasty Dominican Dinner before more dancing. Throughly recommend for a great experience

Not really worth the price and not very well advertised. The overall experience is abit underwhelming as you aren’t really on the buggy’s or swimming in the cave for that long it feels very rushed and abit pushy when you sit through the adverts for cigars coffee and coconut oils and then are lead through the gift shop. As for the exclusive extra 20 minutes driving time for TUI guests, it’s not a real thing and shouldn’t be on the advert as it is false advertising.

TUI representative advised we did not need any water shoes, but when arriving to the tour, the tour guides suggested to have water shoes. If you are a party of 2 they will give you the smaller quads which you will get mud on you from the buggy tour, while parties of 3 will get the bigger carts - because my partner is tall he complained and we got a bigger cart luckily otherwise his knees would of not coped. The buggy tour is really fun! Overall good experience and worth the money.

The only thing I was disappointed with was the pictures we paid 100 for. We got 78 pics which is 40 less then we got on a different excursion ( for only 75 dollars) and there were no pics of the cenote except for under one of the overhangs. The first of our group got like 15 pics and the last one got 2. We wanted pics of the beautiful surroundings not just pics of us. The food was amazing, the buggies were fun and the cenote our favourite. Good for 20 yr olds and 50 yr olds.

We were 25 mins before the pick-up time in the roalton bavaro hotel lobby. But for some reason, the transport didnt turn up. Luckily, the Tui rep sorted us out a different transport, so we managed to do the excursion, which was fab!

My family really enjoyed the experience, started with the buggies it had been raining so the track we went on was great, puddles, mud everywhere. Then music in the cave got to wash off and change for dinner then onto the music and dancing/entertainment. Great night out

This evening bugy experience was absolutely fantastic, the two guides "sexy capachino and organic coffee" we're very friendly and got involved with the guest, only reason I did not give them a full 10 on the score was when I came to the dancing at the end. The DJ and sexy capachino were literally so loud in the microphone and speakers it was Hurting mine and our wifes ears. So we had to sit at the back with our fingers in our ear. Only to realise we were not the only ones

Fokus var ikke sjov i en buggy, men at sælge souvenirs og lokale varer. Mænd gik rundt med mikrofon og højtaler skruet helt op, og råbte sexy chocolate, vi blev trukket igennem souvenir butik samt lille lokale, hvor man kunne smage kaffe og cacao, hvis man ville købe, ellers fik vi besked på at gå ud. Turen i buggy var stop and go på en kedelig grusvej, meget af tiden lige ud til vi skulle vende på vejen og samme vej retur. Grotte var diskotek og senere var der ballon dans og 15 min. fri bar.

It was a great experience. We really enjoyed the buggy tour (you canbdrive quite fast). The cave disco was brilliant, the picture package isn't cheap $80 but for that price you can have all the pictures and you can make the photographer to work for his money (we had over 60 photos). The staff was really good energetic and multi lingo (french,english,spanish). Food was really good and all the staff went over and beyond to make sure we have a full on experience.

Brilliant evening. From the very beginning the staff were very friendly ensuring everything was right for us. The entertainment staff were so energetic and included everyone. So much packed into a 4 hour evening. Great food, the swim on the cave was amazing and the dancing after. Great to hear about the original settlers from the guides. Hot Cappuccino ( guide) has such a personality. Well worth getting the photo package for 100 drls and we'll worth the price.

The trip was excellent. The staff explained throughout what was happening during the driving guides kept check on everybody.. the guide kept us informed and entertained throughout the cave and shopping and history part of the trip. The cave was refreshing and fun to wash and cool down in with a great party atmosphere.. we then went for the buffet meal and was provided with excellent service from the the waiting staff and the food choice was excellent, piping hot and delicious??

The buggies could do with more maintenance, ours kept pulling to one side and lacked maintenance but did not stop us from enjoying our experience. More information about what you should wear/bring before hand would be great but was not an issue for us as we read the reviews prior. The tour guides were great, fun, informative and ensured everyone was involved.

Trop peu de conduire de buggy, trop peu de sensation car groupe conséquent. Très belle partie dans la grotte avec dj. Peu de dégustations et explications données en français très abrégées par rapport à l’anglais et l’espagnol. Chouette ambiance générale. Peu d’explications concernant la sécurité en buggy pour ce qui ne s’y connaissaient pas mais ce n’était pas notre cas. Service photo tres cher et même prix en dollars en en euros ??? A revoir ! Mais bien reçue les photos et qualité ok.

Buggy ride to short and generic. Buggy ride it is just means to take as to our destination and I didn't like that. I would like to have a proper ride like field with hills. Longer ride as well. Over all it was ok.

Take your time when booking with customers. Don’t rush because you want to make another sale. Be professional & attentive. Advise customers to bring towels & explain pick up times & provide a good contact phone number. I booked the excursion for my birthday and was not picked up. I had to go complain. I Was offered a bottle of champagne I DID not receive & was rescheduled for the next day. Birthday night was ruined.

Je komt toe en je krijgt geen uitleg. We dienden €15 dollar te betalen voor een bandana en bril. Er werd niet gezegd dat het voor Tui gasten gratis maw als we zelf geen informatie vroegen wisten we van niks. Het vertrek duurt lang bijna 1u30 hebben wij gewacht. Eens we vertrokken waren was alles mooi in orde. Positieve ervaring met een paar minpuntjes.

Fantastic experience Age range from 13 to 62 all thoroughly enjoyed it an amazing experience staff were great so loved the swimming in the cave a fantastic atmosphere very informative would suggest taking debit card or money as you will need some

Cover bags should be provided for personal bags and the music at the end of the night was louder than the loudest night club I’ve ever been in, just no need for it to be at this level nor for the last dance and music part at all extend the dinning with traditional dance and call it a day then

Super seulement la musique trop forte dans la cenote et sur la piste de danse les enceintes saturent à fond… plusieures excursions et problème récurent.les dominicains aiment faire du bruit mais privilégiez plutôt la qualité sonore plutôt que la quantité je recommande

Very enjoyable experience. The vehicles were a bit hard to steer at first but we soon got used to them. Cenote was lovely although I recommend water shoes as it’s rough in the feet.

Value of experience was very low. Macao dance show was cancelled and turned into karaoke and self dancing. We paid double the money the activities we got.

We spent over 30 minutes on a coach while the driver was trying to find the booking for a family meaning we didn’t get the time stated on the buggy’s. It was very rushed. The food stated was not served and the meal service was not great.

This was a really enjoyable trip and my 13 year old and 10 year old really enjoyed it too. The buggy I was in stopped on a couple of occasions but it was fixed straight away and then I had no problems. The swim in cave is brilliant (even though it is chilly) as it is turned into a party atmosphere. There are changing facilities available so take a change of clothes for after. Overall a really good experience worth its money

Es war für uns der beste Ausflug für uns. Bis auf der Transfer, da der Bus leider bisschen zu eng bemessen war (für jeden ein Platz wobei die Doppelspitze eher maximal für 2 Kinder geeignet wären).

Dommage qu’ils poussent à la consommation. Il faut acheter les lunettes de protection (5 dollars) et le bandana (5 dollars). C’est un peu utile, mais après, ont en faut quoi des lunettes ?
