Enjoy a guided walk through Porto’s historic centre, beginning at the impressive Avenida dos Aliados and continuing to the majestic Clérigos Tower. Along the way, pass by unique sites like the beautifully adorned McDonald’s, renowned as one of the world’s most stunning.The next stop is São Bento Train Station, where your guide will share the fascinating story behind its iconic tile panels, capturing key moments in Portuguese history. From there, you’ll walk up to the Sé Cathedral, one of Porto’s oldest landmarks, pausing briefly to appreciate its views and history (external visit only). You’ll then head to the Fernandina Wall for panoramic views of the city.From the Cathedral, you’ll reach Batalha Square and board a comfortable bus. The tour continues in Vila Nova de Gaia, where you’ll visit a traditional Port wine cellar to learn about its production process and enjoy a tasting of three distinctive Port wines.

Excellent

Interesting & varied full day trip with a knowledgeable & friendly guide, Andre. Included, walking tour, port wine cellar visit, lunch, six bridges boat trip & a visit by bus to the Atlantic beach & back, very enjoyable.

Despite choosing the English speaking option, Multi nationalities in our group meant that there was some waiting around at times particularly at the busy station where it was difficult to hear what the guide was saying. We had noticed that other guides had a microphone and headsets for the clients.
