Pirates of Crete – from Chania and Rethymno

Pirate Tim and Calypso the Parrot need your help to find their lost treasure. But first you need to be fully trained in all the skills you need to become a pirate. You'll join our crew in search of the booty, and along the way everyone will get into the pirate spirit with some help from the pirate team on the boat. There'll be lots of fun activities for everyone to join in with. One of our expert crew members says, "For our little pirate crew, there'll be face painting and lots of pirate-themed games to play and for the older pirate crew, there'll be some pirate challenges to join in with." This relaxed afternoon boat trip shows off some of Crete's most photogenic coastline, blending swim stops, sea-sculpted caves and a dash of local history alongside the family fun. Setting sail from Souda, you'll cruise across clear blue waters to beaches and landmarks that are best appreciated from the sea – with plenty of time to slow down, swim and soak up the views along the way.Your first stop is the sandy beach of Almyrida, where calm, shallow waters make it ideal for a swim. You'll continue along the coast towards Cape Drepano, where the boat glides into sea caves. From there, you'll head to Marathi beach, a golden stretch with time to swim and sunbathe. On the return journey to Souda, keep your camera ready as you pass the islet of Ancient Souda, crowned by a Venetian fortress.
