The overall experience was excellent & well organised There was plenty of free time to explore The coach driver was excellent with transportation The lunch was a reasonable standard apart from being charged for soft drinks (Made aware of this before) We were really disappointed that we couldn't go on the Short nile cruise as we had more than ample time We spent two & half hours in the airport The guide said other group members didn't want to go & that was that

Ondanks het vroege uur van pick up en ook het zeer late uur van drop off (pick up 4u30, drop off was 23u30) hebben wij de ervaring van ons leven gehad. Een dag om nooit meer te vergeten. Wij werden fantastisch geholpen zowel door begeleiding als door de chauffeur van de bus. Enige minpunt dat wij ervaren hebben is dat bij aankomst op Cairo airport richting Hurghada wij ons kind van 10jaar alleen zouden hebben moeten plaatsen achteraan en wij als ouder vooraan. De rest was onvergetelijk en top.

Staff were amazing, the only thing that could be improved is guidance at the airports, but do accept that this is made more difficult due to staff not being able to access parts of the airport due to ticket/safety reasons.

Te korte tijd bij piramides en zeker bij sfinx Veel te lang in winkel van glasblazer en parfum en papyrus, was enkel interessant toen ze het proces toonden. Enorme dure winkels. Te lang en weinig begeleiding in museum. Boottocht onverwacht zeer goed meegevallen

Die Erklärungen zu den Pyramiden und dem Museum vom Guide waren sehr gut. Nicht gefallen hat uns, das wir Nonstop von Punkt zu Punkt gebracht wurden, um Euros zu bezahlen. Das Mittagessen war eine Katastrophe. Bisher schlechteste Essen in Ägypten und zudem alles kalt statt warm. Wir müssten zusätzlichen Travel bezahlen, es war aber nicht bekannt gegeben und während der Hinfahrt kassiert. Da fängt der Tag gut an. Abholung war 1 Stunde früher als beim buchen gesagt. Abflug war auch 1 Stunde später

Es war sehr lange und anstrengend vielleicht aufteilen Pyramide, Phinx und altes Museum oder nur neues Museum und Markt. Sehr gut das spontan der Ablauf geändert wurde und erst Pyramide angefahren wurde auf Grund der Hitze. Mittagessen war sehr gut und ausreichend. Ablauf von der Abholung bis zum zurückbringen sehr gut durch geplant und keine Probleme. Gate in Kairo bisschen druhheinandr, da 2 Flüge am gleichen Gate und gleiche Zeit. (Nicht eure Schuld/Macht)

Bus driver was punctual, we had someone meet us at Hurghada and Cairo the airport to advise us where to go. Airplane Dash-8 Q300 PAS internal flight from Hurghada to Cairo was very dated my sister passed out because she overheated the cool air vent in the panel above our seat didn’t work. Lunch venue food was limited so was a bit disappointing Our guide Sharhinaz Medway was brilliant, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful fun liked her very much. Overall fantastic day out would definitely recommend

Enjoyed learning so much about Egyptian history. Glad we went in a group rather than private as there is delays at pyramids with bus shuttles otherwise. Would prefer a flight slightly earlier home in the evening as they ran hourly. Lots of upselling but to be expected.

Everything was great. Pick up time was spot on. Flights and all transfers including the tour bus were great. Not a single issue the entire day. Tour guide BiBi was fantastic. His passion for Egyptian Pharaoh history is inspiring and really made the day go great. Instead of the usual "bazaar and perfume store" stops where pushy salesmen try to get your money, BiBi instead took us to an unscheduled Nile boat cruise (extra of course but worth it so much compared to souvenirs you didnt really want).

There was a lot to see in such a small time, maybe you should consider an over night say in Cairo, we know this is part of the Egyptian culture but the only criticism we have is amount of people pestering you for money, even those whom you have already paid for ie a cart ride or after having your lunch is a restuarant provided by Tui!

Der Ausflug war sehr schön,alles wurde gut erklärt und der Fahrer war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.Wir hätten uns gewünscht das der Besuch in der Papuruswerkstatt nicht stattgefunden hätte, die Zeit hätte man im Museum brauchen können. Wir hoffen das künftig Touren nur mit dem Museum angeboten werden,auch das mehr für das Tierwohl getan wird, es waren viele Welpen mit Muttertieren an den Pyramiden,auch wurde und Kamel/Pferdereiten angeboten. Eine Spende für Kastrationen wäre künftig tolle!!!

Der Ausflug war sehr schön, alles hat pünktlich geklappt, Flug und der Eintritt zu den Pyramiden, Sphinx und dem Museum. Wir hatten einen sehr freundlichen und gut informierten Reisebegleiter (Hany), da wir noch Zeit hatten haben wir noch eine etwa einstündige Nilbootsfahrt gemacht. Mittagessen war ok. Alles in Allem ein unvergesslicher Ausflug, man sollte aber mit ca. 20 Stunden Ausflugszeit rechnen.

Enjoyed the whole day. Though it was a little uncertain about our flight back. Guide was very helpful. There were times when we felt pressure to join in a boat trip in the early evening. The guide said it was up to each of us whether to pay extra and go or not. There was no other alternative given as what we could do if we didn’t join the trip.

Es war alles sehr gut organisiert das einzige Manko (aus meiner Sicht) da es sich um eine Propellermaschine handelt sollten die Leute auf Gehörschutz aufmerksam gemacht werden da diese doch sehr laut war/ ist wenn man eine Stunde Flugzeit vor sich hat. Ansonsten gibt es (aus meiner Sicht) nichts zu bemängeln

The trip to the pyramids was outstanding. The new museum exceptional. Even had time for a Nile boat trip which was only an hour or so but very enjoyable. Long long day as pick up from hotel was 4.30 and we didn’t return until 23.30 but oh so worth it.

We enjoyed every part of our experience, the itinerary was well thought out. We started with a boat trip down the Nile, a trip to the pyramids, Buffett lunch and finally the Grand Museum. The 2:15am pick up was a challenge however, we arrived back at the hotel at 20:30pm in time for dinner. Our guide was exceptional, very knowledgeable and friendly - a brilliant story teller! The trip is expensive and we were aware of the extra costs which I’m not sure that everyone in our group was! 5* Trip!

Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn man einfach zur eigenen Information die Flugzeiten bzw. die Flüge gesagt bekommen hätte. Unser Guide hat uns nach dem Museum noch angeboten eine kleine Nil-Kreuzfahrt zu machen, da wir noch Zeit bis zum Abflug hatten. Der Verkehr durch Kairo war allerdings nicht gut, wodurch wir am Ende einen Stress hatten, rechtzeitig zum Flug zu kommen (als wir am Flughafen abgesetzt wurden, hatten wir noch 30min bis zum Abflug; das Flughafenpersonal war darüber nicht erfreut).

The whole day was very well organised from the start till the end. It's a very long day, we were picked up from our hotel at 4.10am then straight to the airport(which was an experience in itself but great overall) the flight to Cairo was only an hour, where Ahmed was waiting for us. He was brilliant very efficient and had a lot of knowledge. First the Pyramids and Sphinks around 3.5h. The the museum. Wow, just wow. Magnificent! Then flight back to Hirghada at21.30. I would absolutely recommend!

Our tour guide was a lady she was amazing spoke really good English knew so much. The Egyptian Museum was amazing aswel.

Great day. Had a good amount of time exploring the pyramids and the guide took great care of us and gave us some good tips and suggestions. Full of great knowledge also and was very accommodating to our group. A must do. Only downside is that it is a really long day as we got picked up at 3am and didn’t get back till 10pm, so be prepared but it is worth it.

The Nile trip could have been skipped as you couldn’t see much and by that time just getting home earlier would have been preferable but I understand the flight times were set. The lunch stop was great and our tour guide was excellent.

Ein Erlebnis wie im Traum. Ein sachkundiger und sympathischer Reiseführer hat unsere Reise zu den Pyramiden zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Dem persönlichen Führer für uns, (2Erwachsene und ein 11j. Kind ) gebührt großer Lob. Den ganzen Tag mit Wissen und Erklärungrn an unserer Seite. Einfach großartig. Ich würde diese Tour immer wieder machen. Das Museum riesig und die Pyramiden noch riesiger. Vielen Dank an TUI die dies alles organisieren.

A very well organised and enjoyable excursion. A very early start as we’re being collected at 3.00 am from our hotel but once up and about it was fine. A smooth process and flight to Cairo. Coach transfers were all good. A good balance of guided tour and free time. Lunch was at a local hotel. It was a decent buffet. Drinks not included. Our guide Mohamed was excellent. We would definitely recommend.

Das beste an unserer Tour war unser Guide Ibrahim. Er hat uns so geführt dass wir vieles im Museum vor dem großen Ansturm ansehen konnten und hatten trotzdem genug Zeit an den Pyramiden. Negativ finde ich die Kommunikation: die Flugzeiten wurden uns nie direkt mitgeteilt (5:30 und 21:00), und ein früherer Rückflug hätte es auch getan, da die Pyramiden um 17:00 schließen.

De excursie was zeer mooi. We hadden steeds voldoende tijd om alle bezienswaardigheden te bekijken. Onze gids Mahmut gaf steeds een zeer duidelijke en geanimeerde uitleg in het Nederlands. Mahmut nogmaals bedankt voor de leuke dag. Deze excursie is zeker een aanrader.

Sowohl das Gizeh Plateau mit Pyramiden und Sphinx als auch das Ägyptische Museum waren absolut beeindruckend. Weniger gut gefallen hat uns der katastrophale Informationsfluss nach der Buchung (keine digitale Buchungsbestätigung erhalten, keine Kontakttelefonnummer, keine Anzeige der Buchung in der TUI App) und die viel zu kurze Zeit im Museum, stattdessen steckten wir 2 1/2 h im Verkehr von Kairo für eine - zusätzlich zu zahlende - Nil Bootsfahrt.

Es war alles sehr gut organisiert, wir wurden nie ohne Informationen allein gelassen. Das Einzige, was uns am Anfang verunsicherte, war, dass die Abfahrtszeit bis vor kurzem auf 04:20 Uhr festgelegt war. Plötzlich wurden wir jedoch bereits um 04:00 Uhr im Zimmer angerufen und gefragt, wo wir seien. Wir entschuldigten uns für die Umstände, und der Guide, der uns im Hotel abholte, erklärte, dass die Zeit auf 04:00 Uhr geändert worden sei – von dieser Änderung wussten wir allerdings nichts.

Our tour guide was very good at finding excellent spots for photos at the pyramids for our small group. If we’d been in a larger group or on a coach, this wouldn’t have been possible. So that makes it worth the money.

Es war ein langer Tag und zum Glück sehr kurzweilig. Es ging um 2:30 Uhr vom Hotel bei Safaga los und um 6:30 Uhr landete der Flieger in Kairo. 3 Stunden bei den Pyramiden und im GEM waren ausreichend. Zusätzlich gab es eine Nil-Fahrt (auch 90 Minuten) um 10 Euro extra. Um 23:45 Uhr waren wir wieder beim Hotel zurück. Keine Wartezeiten bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten, sehr gute Führung und sehr empfehlenswert. Auch mein 11-jähriger Sohn schaffte alles, war aber an seiner körperlichen Grenze angelangt

Der Tourguide und der Security waren sehr engagiert und freundlich. Der Guide hat durchgängig gut informiert und unterhalten. Das Essen war gut. Es wurde auf Verkaufsveranstaltungen verzichtet, der Fokus lag klar auf den gebuchten Erlebnissen und war mit drei Stunden bei den Pyramiden und im Museum gut strukturiert. Der Rückflug hätte etwas eher sein können, aufgrund der Verzögerungen durch das Flughafenpersonal war die verbleibende Zeit jedoch gut mit Anstehen gefüllt. Ein sehr gelungener Tag.

Deze uitstap naar Caïro vanuit Hurghada is absoluut de moeite. Het is inderdaad vroeg op en laat thuis, maar de hele dag is goed georganiseerd en de gids in eigen taal is een meerwaarde. Bezoek aan de piramides, daarna het museum en tenslotte, eigen keuze, een tochtje op de Nijl om even uit te waaien (kleine extra vergoeding). Enkel de lunch was een minpuntje, die was kwalitatief iets minder. Maar algemeen was dit een topervaring

Alles war super organisiert. Unsere Reiseführerin war sehr aufmerksam und sehr vertrauenswürdig. Sie hat uns mit Ihrem Wissen, der sehr guten deutschen Sprachkenntnisse und den vielen Anekdoten am Rande tief in die Geschichte und das Leben in Ägypten eintauchen lassen. Hoffentlich kann sie noch unzählige weitere Besucher so von dem Land begeistern wie uns. Diese Reise war traumhaft und nur zu empfehlen.

beim Essen nach dem Ausflug mussten wir leider die Getränke bezahlen ( laut Veranstalter alles inklusive) der Guide Hany war super! Essen , Museum und Pyramiden waren ein Erlebnis auch der Flug hat super funktioniert

Rückflug definitv zu spät, wir warn 18Uhr am Cairo Airport und mussten über drei Stunden auf Abflug warten. Entweder längeres Programm, oder früherer Rückflug wäre wünschenswert gewesen. Besuch diverser 'Produktionen' (Papyrus...) für private Tour um dast 1000 Euro vollkommen unpassend. Konnten mit unserem Guide eine Alternative (Bazar, Moschee) vereinbaren ... das sollte Standard sein, also keine Geschäftsbesuche. Sonst sehr gut, Rundumbetreuung, und v.a. Herr Talat!

Het bezoek aan de pyramides en het museum was heel goed. De gids en de lunch om 16 u waren uitstekend. Wat ons stoorde was dat we om 2u30 s nachts werden opgepikt voor de vlucht van 4u om dan 2 uur voor de opening van de pyramides te arriveren, 2 uur onnodige wachttijd.

Olin varannut matkan ennakkoon la 21.2.26. Ke 18.2.26 sain whatsup viestin, että emme pääse matkalle la, sillä retkelle ei ole tilaa ja meidän lähtö on siirretty ma 23.2.26? Tämä sotki kaikki muut suunnitellut aktiviteetit meidän 8 hlö matkaseurueelle. Ennakko tiedoissa kerrotaan, että matkan pituus on 17h. Retki kesti: 02:10 hotellilta ja sinne palasimme 11:00 = 23h. Museossa oli aikaa olla 45min??? Mitään ei ehditty nähdä!!! Aivan käsittämätöntä ja anteeksiantamatatonta toimintaa!!!

Dersom du ønsker å oppleve Kairo på kun 1 dag er dette en grei mulighet. Vi fikk oppleve båttur på Nilen, i tillegg til pyramidene og det egypiske museet. Guiden var hyggelig og hjelpsom. Det ble gitt flere tilbud underveis om ekstra stoppesteder. Vi var uheldige med tidspunktet for reisen, da det var i starten av ramadan. Flere attraksjoner stengte tidligere enn normalt. Vi fikk derfor altfor god tid til hjemreisen. For mye venting på flyplassen på hjemreisen. Programmet ble dårlig informert.

Elämys ja kohteet opastuksineen osui nappiin. Mahtavia paikkoja, jotka on helposti lähestyttäviä osaavan henkilökunnan avulla. Ainoa miinus on, että ohjelma lentoaikatauluja myöden ei ole asiakkaan tiedossa. Elämys olisi huippu, jos päivän aikataulu jaettaisiin. Ruuhkat yms. tuovat aikatauluun toki epävarmuutta, mutta se lienee ymmärrettävää.

Einfach ein toller Kulturtag in Kairo. Dank an unseren Reiseführer, der uns nicht in Parfüme -od Papyrusläden, sondern an langen Anstellschlangen vorbei geschleust hat. Das Mittagessen war ausgezeichnet und hat uns sehr überrascht. Toll auch die kleine gebuchte Maschine ,nur für Tui, war mega, kein Schlange stehen in Kairo am Flughafen.

Guiden va superbra bra! Vi kändes oss väldigt trygga och han hjälpte oss med prata med rätt personer för att få den bästa upplevelsen. Tajmingen va klockren då va aldrig behövde vänta på något utan vi fick ut maximalt av alla upplevelser. Allt flöt på! Dagen va lång men alla tog verkligen hand om oss, ett tips är att ha med sig snack eller bars. Flyget gick väldigt smidigt

Vierailu Saladinin linnoituksella oli täysin turha. Ihmeteltiin linnoituksen muureja ulkopuolelta ja opas kertoi sen historiasta. Aika GEM:ssä oli liian lyhyt. Alussa meni vähintään 30 min hukkaan, kun opas jonotti kuulokkeita ryhmälle. Yhtenä ryhmänä kuljettiin pitkään ja itsenäiseen kiertelyyn jäi vain 45 min aikaa. Ryhmäkierroksen historioineen voi lyhentää, ei kaikki kuitenkaan jää mieleen, ja varata enemmän aikaan omatoimikierrokseen. Pyramidit ja sfinksi kruunasivat retken.

Guide Amal very knowledgeable and knew what us British didnt like. She avoided us being hasseled by vendors but took us to some who had fixed priced goods. She knew all the good spots for beautiful photos and took great care of us.

Om 2:45 opgehaald worden is belachelijk vroeg. We hadden dit keer een zeer vroege vlucht, de eerste vlucht überhaupt die ochtend vanaf Hurghada airport. De maatschappij wist dit al lang: als we dit eerder hadden geweten, dan hadden we als 75 jarigen beslist GEANNULEERD. En een later vertrek geboekt.

Toive olisi, että vaikka 24 h etukäteen lähetettäisiin jonkinlaisia "shoppailutärppejä" tai esittelyjä etukäteen että minkä tyyppisiä tuotteita näissä käyntikohteissa tehdään, esitellään ja myydään, että voi ostaa niitä "parempia" matkamuistoja ja tarpeellisia tuotteita jotka tuovat sikäläisille työtä ja toimeentuloa. Myös joihinkin luotettaviin avustuskohteisiin olisi kiva noilla reissuilla antaa rahaa jos sellaisia löytyisi.

Es hat sehr lange gedauert, bis die Abholzeit des lokalen Anbieters kam, bzw. kam sie erst auf Nachfrage. Ich möchte eigentlich im Urlaub nicht hinter solchen Sachen hinterher rennen. Ich mag es nicht, wenn dann immer noch Sachen zusätzlich kosten und dazu gebucht werden müssen. Das nervt und fällt mir vermehrt auf.

Der tourguide war absolut das beste was TUI bieten konnte, Achmed hat sich wunderbar um alle Gäste gekümmert,hat Fotos gemacht,hat alle Fragen beantwortet,war humorvoll und Empathisch. 10 plus mit Sternchen.Die Fluggesellschaft war das allerletzte, hierzu folgt noch eine E-Mail. Insbesondere der Zustand der Maschine und sicherheitsrelevante Dinge waren Grenzwertig

The optional Nile cruise was disappointing with little to see on the riverbank, would not recommend. The pyramids, sphinx and museum were all excellent including options to go inside smaller pyramid and take a camel/buggy ride. Our guide was excellent and flexible given that we had a 4 year old with us. Enjoyed lunch which was in a Jaz hotel.

A long day but most certainly worth the trip. The Pyramids are awe inspiring and the GEM is sensational. Our guide Habib was very enthusiastic and helpful. He adapted the day to accommodate changes in the weather and included a tour of downtown Cairo as well a a Nile river boat trip. Overall it is a huge thumbs up from us.

The trip was very organised from being picked up at our hotel to being dropped off , guides were efficient & clear in instruction, our guide in Cairo was Manal who was very knowledgeable in the history of Giza & the pharaoh dynasty , she was very friendly & passionate about her job , although she walked a little too fast for some of the group who were elderly , we went on a Saturday so were able to have a trip through the city centre which not able to do on weekdays , & a trip on the Nile

Das Museum ist ein Gebäude der Superlative, riesige aber trotzdem überschaubar. Ich bin einfach nur beeindruckt. Bei den Pyramiden war ich jetzt zum dritten Mal und man bekommt immer wieder neue Informationen und Eindrücke. Ich bin von Kairo immer wieder begeistert.

Kann man absolut empfehlen. Das Museum ist großartig und alles ist hervorragend organisiert. Lediglich die Zeit von der Schließung des Museums um 17:00 bis zum Rückflug um 21:30 ist schon sehr lang. Der Besuch einer Mall nach stundenlangen hervorragenden Führungen ist dann doch überflüssig.

the guide was incredible - he was extremely knowledgeable but did not bore with a tedious historical facts, instead he made the whole experience interesting and thoroughly enjoyable. the "dinner at a 5 star?" hotel was awful. The food was unacceptable, the selection was poor and it was badly cooked. The place itself was cold and drab, and the service not up to standard. I would have left had we been paying for this as a restaurant customer. The venue needs to change before any recommendation
