Monkeys aren't the only thing you'll see swinging through the trees on this day out. At Punta Cana's premier primate park, you can fly through the forest canopy too. Head to Monkeyland's spectacular mountain surrounds to spot super-cute squirrel monkeys and then hit the heights for a thrilling 12-wire zipline course.Kick off with a visit to Casa del Coco to learn all about coconut oil and other organic Dominican products. You'll get to taste a few of them along with the national tipple, mamajuana, too. Gregory and Jose were great. Gregory made it better b/c of his facts. Please service the vehicle, every time the breaks go on, their is a horrible screeching noise. Monkey land was our favorite part, the meal was amazing and authentic Dominican food, loved being able to sample the coffee and chocolate along with riding the buggies. Great experience all around, would do this excursion again when coming back to Dominican Republic!

The guides were great, very informative and friendly. The Lunch that was served was spectacular ??if you do the zip line make sure to be aware of the view it is breathe taking ?? Hope for a slight afternoon rain for the buggie adventure, it makes the water splash even bigger!!!??

Such a great day! The monkeys were so much fun, and the buggies were even better, with stunning mountain views all around us. The whole day was well worth the money. The only downside was the transport - we had to switch between two different buses, which felt a bit disorganised and unnecessary. That said, it was still the best activity we did in the Dominican Republic. Highly recommended it.

The buggies were great. However Monkeyland is totally missold as it is literally based on an interaction with the Squirrel monkeys in an enclosed area. Due to our concerns of the monkeys climbing over us and the risk of being bitten or scratched (there is no guarantee the monkeys are vaccinated and free from rabies) we decided not to do the interaction, however we didn't know this was the only way we'd see the monkeys. This isn't 'Monkeyland', its just a monkey interaction, which is unethical.

Monkey land was wonderful. The Buggy ride was lackluster. Super uncomfortable in the backseat, would NOT recommend 4 adults in one buggy. We have done this in other places and the back seats were just as comfortable as the front, but these were not. Way too many “classroom” settings. Did really enjoy the cigar demo. Lunch was very good.

Wir haben alle drei Aktivitäten (Zipline, Monkey und Buggy) gemacht. Es war ein wirklich langer Tage aber auch sehr schön voller Aktion! Unsere 12 Jährige Tochter und wie hatten sehr viel Spaß - am Besten haben uns die Monkeys gefallen! Auch das Mittagessen war top - und die Guides und das Personal super nett und hilfsbereit!

Anfahrt war in dem offenen Bus zwar cool aber etwas anstrengend, sehr kleine unbequeme Sitze, Monkeyland war schön ähnlich wie Zoo, Affen sind niedlich, Buggytour war nicht schlecht, sind halbe Strecke Straße gefahren uncool, der Rest durch das Gelände war cool, insgesamt ein tolles Erlebnis

The guide we had on the the truck was rude, dismissive and very difficult to understand. His English was very poor, which made it difficult to enjoy the journey. I told him I did not understand, he rudely said - pay attention. He was nea over 1 Hr ate picking us up, no apology or explanation. At Monkey Land, we had to pay for a lock to use the lockers Which was disappointing considering what we paid for 45 minutes with the Monkeys. The Monkeys were amazing, would definitely do it again

Das Monkeyland war toll mit netten Guides. Die Buggytour war eine Enttäuschung. Der Guide hörte sich gerne selber reden und tat das auch länger als die eigentliche Buggyfahrt dauerte. Man fuhr in zwei kleinen Kreisen eigentlich nur für die Fotos. Mittendrin gab es eine sehr langweilige, sehr lang anhaltende Verkaufsveranstaltung. Bei dem Preis eine Frechheit.

Monkeys were excellent and guides were superb. Lunch was stunning and the buggies were a great experience with the added bonus of a stop at a lake. Did feel there was a lot of attempts to sell to us along the way- once would have been enough! Also the journey was 90 mins and we were in a safari truck which was not hugely comfortable. Overall, superb trip out. It just a couple of areas where it could have been even better.

I loved the monkey land activities but I also loved the "pre-activities." I wasn't expecting to have such a great tour guide (kudos to Angel) who told us so much about the towns or the history of the Dominican during the trip to monkey land.

Le buggy est vraiment nulle, 25 minutes à tout casser pour un prix exorbitant et aucune sensation si ce n’est que de faire de la route et un petit tour dans la nature ! Le temps de midi trop court, pas eu le temps de terminer son repas( next dessert et café) ensuite direction monkeyland , heureusement celui-ci remonte ma note car malgré un petit parcours, l expérience était top! Si je dois séparer les deux, je donnerai 3/10 au buggy et 8/10 pour les singes. Mais vraiment trop chers!!

We did the triple action day out & what an amazing day it was.. really felt got value for money packed with amazing experiences & the food was lovely aswell. Expensive for the time you have with the monkey's, would of been better with a smaller group so we would have more interaction with the monkey's as they really only get on you when the guide puts a piece of food in your bowl but as soon as its gone so do the monkeys

Dont listen to the description as says 2-4 hours we were 7 1/2 hours but was sooo worth it. Said food wasnt included but a buffet lunch was provided. Also stated you couldnt wear suncream you could it just had to be applied way before any interaction with the monkeys. Sammy our guide and freddie our driver amazing. And PJ at monkeyland what a guy. Would def recommend this trip we did buggies and monkeys.

I love everything about monkey land, my kids were absolutely thrilled, best service, very kind staff members, very safe. With monkey land adventures my vacation was complete. Scores are lower than we would have given. The reasons are: 1. When we got there, as one of the party had a cold we saw for the first time that you should not enter the monkey enclosure. That was the purpose of this part of the adventure. It would be more beneficial if the reps had informed us before the booking we may not have booked and may have done the zip wire instead. I provided this feedback via the app. 2. When reporting this (cold) to one of the monkey land staff there was no empathy.

We did both the monkey tour & buggies. Monkeys, cigar experience & lunch no complaints. Excellent. However the buggies were not good. We only went about 3 miles along 2 roads. Have done this sort of thing in Jamaica & Cyprus, both were superb. This one, in all honesty, shocking. Stopped 15 minutes to a pool & then for 20 minutes to a coffee & chocolate place to try to get us to buy goods. Would not recommend the buggies but would everything else.

Enjoyed the monkeys but a lot of hanging around watching cigars being made and trying to sell you stuff. Good lunch. The buggies were ok but most of it was on local roads not off road. This trip does not take 2-4 hours as described we didn’t get back to our hotel for 9 hours. A long converluted transfer changing buses at a petrol station am hanging around for ages waiting for people. Not a half day as advertised.

Even though it was raining, it was still a brilliant day, zip wires in the rain, superb. Monkeys in the rain, brilliant. Jungle buggies and “sweet” water swim in the rain outstanding! Altogether and a amazing day!

Our guide Gregory was amazing from start to finish, so friendly on the journey was very knowledgeable about history of the area and was making everyone laugh. Compared to other guides Gregory interacted with us none stop and was such a pleasure to be around. Only are or improvement would be the buggies no one checked lot of us was strapped in or doors shut meaning lot of doors flung open when driving.

Leuk om zo de kleine aapjes te zien, echter zijn ze zo opgevoed dat ze alleen komen als de baas het eten geeft. Het mindere is dat het zo kort is dat je geen kans hebt om te ervaren hoe de ervaring met een aapje op je hand is. Een foto maken waardoor wij apart wilde staan van onze vrienden was niet eens mogelijk, dat vonden we wel erg jammer.

Nous avons bcp aimé notre journée , approcher les petits singes écureuils à été super ! La balade en buggy dans la forêt tropicale et la vue de la cascade au top . Notre guide bilingue PJ a mis une super ambiance !!! Je recommande vivement !

We did the combo tour zip line buggies and monkeys. You get plenty of time with the monkeys and lots of photo opportunities. The zip lines are amazing and they build up in size gradually which helps if your nervous with heights. The only bad psrt about this tour is the transfer. It’s around 40 miles away it took about an hour and a half on the way there but on the way back took over 2 and a half hours so really hungry & tired after the 13 hours. Early pick up so you also miss breakfast.

The monkeys were great. The star of the show by far. We loved how they interacted. The zip line was a lot of fun and very impressive. They obviously had fun setting it up. The coffee and chocolate was obviously a hard sell. And we were given a snack. Then we were told it was time for lunch. We declined lunch as we were already full on the snack. It was too hot for more food. We were made to wait as we had said no to the extra lunch....... The jungle buggy was fun, but it was just a big loop

I have seen some reviews that have said they only got 15 minutes with the monkeys - we were with them for aprox 45 minutes. It was so lovely, the animals were very clearly well looked after and the keepers treated them with total respect. There is quite a bit of waiting around prior to going into the monkey area but this is so that the staff can ensure everyone is very clear about the safety aspects.

15 minutes with the monkeys is enough but would be much better in smaller groups.

Good excursion, we had a great guide called Gregory, however a lot of wasted time hanging around in hot weather, think going for food at Maria’s was again was a wasted journey, trip could be condensed down and cost less

Absolutely loved this excursion. Getting up close to the monkeys was amazing. I was a little apprehensive before we arrived in case they would bite me, but I needn't have worried, as they are so friendly and jump around all over the place. What an experience ?? Our guide on the bus was great too. Really happy, really chatty and full of information.

Great
Experience with the monkeys was great - however we were last in the line every time and by the time the guide got to us he didn’t give us as much time as everyone else and moved on to the next area so we feel we missed out on our experience time.
