À quoi s'attendre
Pour avoir un avant-goût du riche patrimoine de Malte, difficile de faire mieux que cette excursion. Disponible à la journée ou la demi-journée, vous remonterez le temps jusqu'aux lieux les plus historiques et les plus pittoresques de l'île. Vous pourrez vous promener dans les rues pavées de Mdina, visiter les falaises de Dingli et les jardins botaniques de San Anton.Nous nous rendrons à Mdina pour une visite guidée de ses ruelles et de points de vue offrant une vue panoramique sur la campagne environnante. Le temps s'arrête dans cette "ville silencieuse", un paradis pour les cinéastes. Vous continuez aux falaises de Dingli. La visite d'une demi-journée se termine par un arrêt devant le jardin botanique de San Anton, situé près du palais présidentiel.Si vous choisissez la journée complète, vous ferez ensuite un arrêt aux catacombes de Rabat, vous flânerez dans le centre artisanal Ta' Qali et vous visiterez la Basilique de l'Assomption de Notre-Dame à Mosta, qui ressemble à un panthéon et qui présente l'un des plus grands dômes du monde. Le déjeuner est aussi au programme de la journée complète.

We were told it wasn’t a lot of lining but it was which caused issues as my wife suffers with back issues, the guide was very good and informative knowing everything about the tour answering all questions competently

Jean Paul, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of the tour and was quite amusing. Our driver, George, was extremely careful driving us around. The lunch was really tasty and very welcome by the time we arrived at the restaurant. My only negative comment was the short time allowed for independent sightseeing as we seemed to only get 10-20 minutes free time.

Die Reisebegleitung war exzellent. Auch alle mitgeteilten Informationen und der Bustransfer. Das Essen war dagegen mittelmässig, aber bei dem Preis wohl nicht besser machbar. Alles in allem sehr gut.

Our guide was very efficient and knowledgable. The only issue is that he had yo ask the group about food issues as this is not communicated to him although i was asked by my tui rep when i booked. The restaurant were able to provide swaps. Philippe handled it all very well.

Medina was interessant. Bezoek aan de tuinen met woning president ook. Bezoek aan de kliffen hoefde er niet bij te zijn, maar was ook niet storend.

Charlie our guide was knowledgeable. Unfortunately the weather was cool and rainy as it was the first week of March which made standing outside listening to the history less enjoyable. Quite a few activities so a busy day.

Elizabeth was a font of knowledge & she had a great sense of humour. She answered any questions easily & all in all was excellent. The garden visit was a waste of time, especially this time of year. Lunch ok not brilliant. All other aspects of the tour I would say was brilliant & we really enjoyed.

Mittagessen gab es erst um 13:45 Uhr. Bis das Essen kam war es nach 14:00 Uhr. Das war viel zu spät. Einige Leute haben schon angefangen mitgebrachte Snacks zu essen und waren nicht mehr aufnahmefähig. Das hat den ganzen Ausflug gedämpft. Schade.

The guide was excellent. We saw some great sights and she was very knowledgeable. The round church was amazing as were the catacombs and Mdina itself. The lunch wasn't good and I would also suggest maybe skipping the gardens at the end to give people more time in Mdina.

Wir wurden nicht wie vereinbart am Hotel abgeholt. Dann sollten wir ganz schnell zu einem anderen Treffpunkt kommen, der uns gänzlich unbekannt war. Also liefen wir los. Dann erhielten wir die Nachricht, dass man nicht länger warten könnte und abfahren müsse. Somit hat für uns dieser Ausflug gar nicht stattgefunden. Auf Grund der nicht erbrachten Leistung erwarten wir die Erstattung des Reisepreises.

The experience was good overall apart from lengthy wait at coach transfer stop. Over 30 minutes waiting on a coach with the engine running, breathing in diesel fumes while waiting for other customers to arrive at transfer spot. Wasting time alongside environment damage caused by static vehicle with engine running.

When we started the walk the gide tried to put off my wife from the walk. Then when we stopped for lunch there was no choice of meals, and my wife can't eat pork, and that's what on offer. Then we were given one bottle of wine between 6, my wife doesn't drink so we had to pay for water.

The tour guide John was amazing. Very interactive! It was organised well. The hotel we were in the bus was waiting for us and then we were separated to which language we selected and after the tour they have a register to let us know which coach or transport to get on to go back to our hotel.

Die ganze Tour kann man gut selbst gestalten. Die Besichtigung der Schmuckmanufaktur ist eine Halle, in der touriunsinn angeboten wird. Mdina selbst ist natürlich völlig überlaufen, trotzdem schön. Kann man aber auch für 15 € mit einem uber anfahren. Ich selbst hatte Probleme mit meiner Buchung und über guide sah das nicht als ihr Problem an. Hilfe null, obwohl sie zugab, dass sie einen Fehler gemacht hatte. Den Ärger und eine ruinierte Tour hatte ich!

Mooie Tour aanzich, Tuin is mooi maar had er wat ons betreft niet bij gehoeven. Had liever meer tijd gehad in Mdina. Bus is gemaakt voor mensen met korte benen. Komende dagen blauwe knieën ?? Mdina was prachtig, uitkijkpunt ook. Gids is zeer gedreven en weet veel.

Guide had wrong name on booking so nearly missed coach. Was well organised, great day and loved Medinah, so beautiful. Disappointed that there was nothing other than wine included with lunch. It was 42 degrees, if you wanted water or a soft drink, not alcohol, then you had to pay for it. They even tried to give wine to one of our children. But tour itself was really good.

Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was very careful to ensure we all kept as a group. We would have preferred longer at the mosta basilica so maybe bring this forward to earlier in the day as it felt a bit rushed.

Too much to see and fit in for the time we had. Felt rushed and no time to yourself, felt like like you were chasing the tour guide all day, who was very informative. The meal provided was served up like school dinners and very bland. The seasonal vegetables were frozen peas. Not what I imagined.

Vormittag ok. Zu viele Details/ zu viele Zahlen, welche man nachmittags schon vergessen hat, das große Ganze kommt zu kurz. Der Nachmittag zieht sich hin. Rechts wird ein Haus beschrieben, links ein anderes. Dann geht's zu einem schlechten Essen, zu einer Verkaufsveranstaltung. Zu Katakomben, was gerade einige kleine Steinräume sind. Dann wieder Warten in 40 Grad heißer Sonne. Von Gozo kommend war ich von 7.00 h bis 7.00 h unterwegs. Ich kann von Ganztagestour nur abraten.. !!!

Het overstappen van het kleine busje naar de grote bus, duurde erg lang totdat iedereen er was en verliep chaotisch. Waardoor er veel tijd verloren ging, wat zonde was. Mdina viel voot mij tegen en we kregen erg weinig tijd in Mdina. De hele tour verliep op hoog tempo, waardoor je weinig tijd om goed rond te kijken. Je kunt beter met de hop on hop off bus zelf naar Mdina gaan. De reisleidster Nynke was een goede reisleidster, met humor en leuke feiten en weetjes.

Tour guide although very pleasant was very repetitive, she lost the interest of her group several times and the microphone she used was not sufficient for a large group especially in busy crowded areas and also wasn't good on the coach too. The time spent at the gardens could have been cut to 30mins, only 30mins at the craft village could have done with an hour. I booked this trip with closest pickup 10 mins walk from our hotel, then coach went back to our hotel and picked up 6 people.

A good, well organised tour, with an excellent and knowledgeable guide. The only negative would be that the amount of time given for free time at the end f the tour was only 30 mins. Since this was over lunch time in a busy tourist area and none of us had eaten this was a poor oversight.

De gids, John, was super. Hij sprak heel duidelijk Engels en vertelde met passie en liefde voor zijn land. Ook met de nodige humor en veel kennis over de geschiedenis van het eiland. Alles was goed geregeld. Alleen de lunch vond ik niet zo aangenaam maar dat is bijkomstig.

Leider war der Teil morgens zu voll mit Spots und viel zu wenig Zeit. 15 Minuten für Ta'Qali, davon 10 wartend vor den Toiletten... Die Reiseleiterinnen war sehr nett, besonders Anna, die jede Menge über Malta, Mdina und Rabat zu erzählen wusste. Vielleicht sollte man die Gruppen etwas kleiner halten. 30 Leute sind ne Menge...

Wir wurden vom Hotel abgeholt und zu einem Sammelplatz der Reisebusse gefahren. Am Hotel empfing uns Gerlinde mit den Worten "sie hätte uns schon im ganzen Hotel gesucht". Allerdings waren wir nicht zu spät und standen vor dem Hotel. Kein "Guten Morgen" und der Ton , sowas hatten wir noch bei keiner Tour erlebt. Zum Glück wurden wir am Sammelpunkt dann von Anna weiter geführt. Sie hat uns den Ausflug noch zu einem schönen und informativen Erlebnis gemacht.

Die Tour war das Geld nicht wert. Botanischer Garter (aus welchem Grund auch immer). Dingli Klippe (sehr schön). Dort gab es auch das einzige Highlight: maltesischer Kaffee an dem dortigen Stand (der aber nicht inkludiert war). Mdina: wunderschöne Stadt - aber dermaßen überlaufen, von wegen Stille Stadt. Keine Zeit, um sich die wirklich interessanten Dinge anzusehen Rabat: wollte nicht in die Katakomben, wurde einfach stehen gelassen Mittagessen - kann man sparen Handwerkdorf: kann man sparen

Enthousiaste gids, interessante informatie. De lunch vonden we minder. Eten niet lekker en drankjes los betalen, alleen wijn inclusief en zelfs geen water op tafel
