À quoi s'attendre
Des paysages de science-fiction et des chameaux, cette matinée dans le parc national de Timanfaya n'est pas une excursion ordinaire. Au cours de cette amusante aventure, vous explorerez la principale attraction de Lanzarote par des moyens traditionnels et modernes. Vous découvrirez notamment l'historique "volcan du Corbeau", un centre d'accueil des visiteurs, le point de vue panoramique d'El Femés et, bien sûr, une balade à dos de chameau. Marian, l'un de nos guides locaux, nous dit : "vous pouvez pénétrer dans le cratère d'un volcan, c'est une expérience qui fait froid dans le dos. La promenade à dos de chameau vous donne le temps d'absorber le paysage lunaire".La première étape est le Volcan del Cuervo, ou "volcan du Corbeau". Situé à la lisière du parc national de Timanfaya, il surgit d'un paysage de suie noir de jais. C'est ici que les éruptions volcaniques qui ont créé Timanfaya ont commencé en 1730. Des murs imposants entourent le cratère, à l'exception d'une brèche ouverte par une rivière de lave, vous permettant d'accéder à la base. Vous rejoindrez ensuite le centre des visiteurs et d'interprétation de la Mancha Blanca, afin de faire le tour de ses expositions multimédias et apprendre plus sur la géologie des Canaries.Il est l'heure de la partie la plus légère de la visite : la balade en chameau. On vous aidera à monter sur des sièges en bois harnachés au dromadaire, pendant qu'un soigneur vous guide. C'est un moment de rire, durant une balade à travers les terres volcaniques sauvages et merveilleuses. Vous trouverez un petit musée consacré au chameau canarien, affectueusement appelé "tochas". Pour terminer, vous profiterez de la vue imprenable depuis le belvédère d'El Femés, perché à 450 m d'altitude et surplombant Los Ajaches, Playa Blanca, Fuerteventura et l'île de Lobos ; des panoramas côtiers inoubliables.

Doceniam zaangażowanie przewodnika i jego wiedzę, był też naszym kierowcą, także pracował za dwóch. Natomiast sama wycieczka, która kosztuje ok. 250zł od osoby, a w czasie której jedyne płatne wejście to 11 EUR za przejażdżkę wielbłądami, to trochę przesada.

Schöneg Ausritt mit den Kamelen, jedoch ein bisschen kurz für den Preis. Das Wandern zum Vulkan war nicht beschrieben. Wäre gut wenn man es vorher weiß

Vi var alla mkt nöjda med dagen. Den var lagom lång, med lagom mng inslag samt med engagerad guide. Det enda man kunde önskat sig var en något längre tid på kameleyggen! Och tid för besöket på Vulkancentret får man se som en ”teaser”.

De excursie komt niet overheen wat ik heb gekocht. Enige wat klopte was rijden op een kameel. De rest heb ik totaal andere dingen gedaan dan wat zou worden. Wat ik erg jammer vind. Nu kan ik deze ervaring niet meer meemaken… De reisgids heeft dit vandaag opgepakt met de manager. Maar nog niks vernomen. Want voor alleen kameel rijden 164 euro betalen is echt veel te veel geld. Ze kon ons niet zelf compenseren gezien wij onze eigen pakketreis via D reizen hebben geboekt en geen TUI. Tegoedbon?

When booking this experience you should tell them there is a hour walk as well as, me and my partner wore sandals and my young child was on his shoulder all the way. The camel ride was a amazing experience but it was a four hour experience and it was only half hour on the camel. You need to explain more of the experience. Overall it was great just a long day and not ideal for sandals.

Erg duur voor wat je krijgt. 20 minuten kamelenrit klein stukje omhoog. Er werd gedurende de autorit weinig over de omgeving verteld, de hike de vulkaan is is zelfstandig en verder bezoek je een gratis informatiecentrum die je in 20 min ook zelf doorloopt. Ik had gehoopt meer te leren over het park, het eiland en de vulkanen. Dit had ik beter met huurauto kunnen doen. Jammer! Andere tours via jullie betere ervaringen mee. Dit was geen waar voor je geld.

When picked up in our mini bus, we were sat on the very back seat, when the driver was giving out details and a run down of the history of the volcanoes and other bits of information of the island, we could not hear any of it.

Absolutely amazing experience for the whole family. I was worried about taking my 5 year old along but she loved everything about it. The walk to the volcano is really quite relaxing and not difficult at all. All my children loved it would definitely recommend.

An indication as to what clothes to wear would be of benefit. We were first there at 9.30 in April, wind was strong and cold. Some of our group just wore t-shirts, they were cold. Would recommend a light weight wind proof or jacket plus a hoodie. Inland is colder than the seafront. Ride wasn't quite as long as anticipated, but it did give a good indication

De kameeltocht was erg leuk om mee te maken. De chauffeur/gids was vriendelijk. Ik kon hem echter niet altijd goed verstaan in de auto. Wat ik minder vond was de wandeltocht naar een vulkaan. Die wandeltocht stond namelijk niet in de informatie. Ik heb de excursie zelf gekozen voor de kameeltocht. Er waren 2 ouderen bij die ook voor de kameeltocht gingen maar zeiden dat als ze dat van de wandeling hadden geweten ze niet mee waren gegaan.

The camel trail was good however we had a camel attached to our seat that was behind us called Lola .Lola was clearly in a bad mood and tried to bite my friends back in her seat despite wearing a muzzle . When I shooed it Lola took umbrance and bit my sleeve nipping my skin .. I work with horses so I wasn’t worried however somebody else may not be so forgiving.. I think Lola has lost the love of being a Camel Train !

Overall a very good trip out, the guide was great, informative and friendly, easy to get along with. Really enjoyed the visit to the volcano although the walk from the car park to it was quite long for my wife! Maybe knowing the distance to walk before hand would be good? The camel ride was great fun, what adorable animals!

Wees voorbereid op kou en felle zon. De wandeling is best behoorlijk. Verder echt de moeite waard. Kamelenrit is eigenlijk een dromedarisrit, maar net zo leuk en goed bevallen.

Met een klein groepje gingen we eerst naar de dromedarissen. De gids vertelde ons dat de dromedarissen alleen 's ochtends hoeven te werken en daarna rust hebben. Ook hadden we het idee dat er goed voor deze dieren werd gezorgd, wat erg fijn is. Het was een hele bijzondere ervaring en zeker een aanrader. Daarna gingen we nog naar een krater van een vulkaan, waar we ook in konden. Ondertussen wist de gids ons veel te vertellen over de geschiedenis van de vulkanen. Onmisbare ervaring in Lanzarote.

positief: activiteit voldoende qua timing negatief: bezoek van krater, 1 uur wandelen, er wordt niets voorzien voor mensen die de wandeling niet kunnen doen, je moet gewoon wachten op de parking in het voertuig.

It was a very short route and we were told it would last 45 to 50 minutes, it was nearer 20 to 25 minutes so felt a little bit let down.

Uppskattar särskilt omtanken om vår 6-åriga dotter. Bilkudde i bilen, lugn kamel och att vårt hotell blev första anhalten på hemvägen då vi var först att kliva på på morgonen.

Picked up on time in a little mini van which kept the trip more personal. The travel guide was amazing so knowledgeable and interesting. (German man from Berlin but forgot his name). Told us all so much about lanzarote. Lovely scenic viewpoints. Interesting information about volcano. Camels were a bit scary coming down the hill but good fun.

The walk around the crater was stunning and should be mentioned that a 5k walk is involved. Its quite an easy walk so good for all the family. As far as the camel ride went, it was quite short but very much worth it and made for a memorable experience in a dramatic landscape.

Ein sehr netter Guide u d Fahrer, der sicher fuhr. Van mit Anschnallgurten bequem. Leider sind wir uns im Nachhinein nicht sicher, ob wir wirklich im eigentlichen Nationalpark waren, weil wir nirgendwo eine Einfahrt gesehen haben und man überall auch selbst mit dem Auti hingekommen wäre.

Excellent views. Definitely must come to see the volcanos and take in the view. My teenage son loved it too. Guide was very informative. It was not rushed and it was great to end the trip with the camel ride which was very relaxing.

Our guide Leo , was very good and is a credit to the company and Lanzarote, he has a wealth of knowledge and is very compassionate about Lanzarote , and it’s history, a very informative tour to the volcanoes and of their history , and of the history of the camels on the island , which culminated in a ride on a camel .
