Bâtie sur plus de 100 îles, Venise tire sa renommée de son réseau de canaux bleu foncé, de son architecture élaborée et de ses labyrinthes de ponts en pierre. Cette excursion d'une journée, depuis l'Istrie vers Venise, vous fait traverser la mer Adriatique en bateau pour l'explorer pendant du temps libre dans cette cité italienne romantique.Vous arrivez tout en style en bateau, à la jetée San Basilio, au cœur de Venise, pour partir à la découverte de la Sérénissime. En flânant dans ce lieu de légendes, vous aurez tout le temps d'explorer les attractions phares de la ville. À commencer par la place Saint-Marc légendaire, dominée par la somptueuse basilique byzantine de Saint-Marc et son campanile.Faites un tour en gondole, explorez les innombrables ponts ourechargez vos batteries dans les nombreux restaurants ; il y a des tas de choses à faire. En début de soirée, vous rejoignez le port par vos propres moyens pour quitter Venise et rentrer en Croatie, emportant avec vous de beaux souvenirs de cette belle cité italienne.

Frais d'entrée à Venise, balade en gondole, bateau-taxi et repas le midi non inclus.
Vous devez indispensablement vous munir de votre passeport. Cette excursion traverse la frontière entre la Croatie et l'Italie. Lors de la réservation de cette excursion, les participants doivent envoyer les informations suivantes à l'adresse e-mail de réservation porec.booking@tui.com : nom et prénom, date de naissance et numéro de passeport.
Venise a mis en place une taxe touristique de 5,00 EUR par personne pour entrer dans la ville. Cette taxe doit être payée au moins quatre jours avant votre visite, faute de quoi elle sera majorée à 10,00 EUR. Elle peut être payée en ligne sur le site Web de l'office de tourisme de Venise.
En 2025, les dates auxquelles s'applique cette taxe sont pour l'instant les suivantes : tous les vendredis, samedis et dimanches des mois de mai, juin et juillet, du 18 au 30 avril, le jeudi 1er mai et le lundi 2 juin.
Il est obligatoire de payer cette taxe touristique aux dates indiquées ci-dessus. Si vous ne la payez pas, l'entrée à Venise vous sera refusée.
Cette excursion nécessite de traverser la frontière entre la Croatie et l'Italie. Pour faciliter votre passage, veuillez indiquer le nom et le prénom, la date de naissance et le numéro de passeport de toutes les personnes incluses dans la réservation.

Great communication, clear instructions, engaging and informative explanations from the guides. Although travel time is considerable, some of it (approach through the lagoon, water bus transfers) itself forms part of the experience. Included lunch was superb, great value. Areas to improve: greater clarity in advance about the add-ons, their cost and the need for cash; warnings that if you wish to visit St Marks Basilica you need to book in advance - very sad not to be able to see the interior.

Are trip was cancelled due to bad weather and safety reason then rearranged days later which wasn’t a problem for us. The crossing going was smooth but a little choppy on return. We brought a tour on Venice on board the SeaCat ( nothing to do with TUI) which was informative and gave you a taster of Venice itself. Tour a little rushed due to time there but it makes you wanting to return under your own pace.

Amazing experience, Venice well worth the visit. We booked beat the queue tickets to get into St Marks Basilica which was well worth a visit and got us out the sweltering heat. We booked water taxi and gondola tickets which was well worth the money. As expected a lot of tourists, the further away you walk from St Marks Square the cheaper things become.

From the minute we stepped on the catamaran we felt well informed. All the staff were very helpful. The guides were great. We took all the extras and everything went like clockwork and we felt like we got to experience a taste of Venice in the very short time we had.

Not being able to pay onboard with a card is an issue as a lot of people do not carry cash, but then getting money out of a card machine you cannot trust!! The lack of no information on the return boat ride, would have been good

The tour package, especially the lunch, offered by Compass, was a really good way to experience as much of Venice as possible within the time available. The guides were especially good. The only slight fault was that the minibus back to our hotel forgot to collect us at the end of the trip. We were all very glad we did this excursion.

The trip itself was great value for money but Venice is incredibly expensive. Really enjoyed the experience and everything was explained thoroughly, but we were also warned us of the high risk of pick pockets when there, it was extremely busy but we were fine. Highly recommend this trip as Venice is beautiful.

Service was very good. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides. Mini bus trip to get to Rovinj was longer than expected as it went to other hotels, not on a direct route. Made the day much longer.

Having had to reschedule die to incorrect information with pick up location and missing out on the first week and reschedule the second week WAW what an experience. Wasn’t cheap but well worth paying for the all inclusive on the catamaran for the Venice tour which included a taxi bus to the centre of Venice, lunch, Gondola ride and taxi boat ride back to port. We also had free time to walk the streets of Venice and visit the many shops in the back streets . Amazing experience with Kompass Tour

Everything was worth the price, Guide giving information was first class. The only problem was that the guide was very quick and some people were struggling too keep it, that was the only downside of the tour.

We had a fantastic day. Transfers from our hotel went smoothly. Great guides from the catamaran company. We had about 6 hours in Venice. Once we were on the catamaran we were offered ‘add ons’ which we took up- transfers by water taxi to and from the port, lunch and a gondola ride. Some people were more adventurous than us and made their own way around. It is a long day but worth it.

Compass the 3rd party company was on the whole excellent. The return transfer (to the Venice port) needs reconsideration / discussion with them. Overall a “bucket list” activity! Just go!

We loved our trip to Venice from Rovinj. I would have liked to know more about the facilities on the boat in advance. I would also have liked to know that there are optional extras (lunch, gondola, boat trips, guided tour) because we would have planned our day around those in advance if we'd known. Also the transfer back to the hotel from the boat was a bit chaotic (Rovinj gets very busy by the harbour in the evenings).

You should mention it’s 6hrs travelling on the sea And also the costs for transfers from boat to centre before booking so people can make a decision and not get trapped into spending more money than they budgeted for.

Well planned excursion. Highlights were the gondola ride and the lunch at a lovely wee restaurant. The weather was 38 degrees so having a guide was essential to save us wandering aimlessly in the heat! Had plenty free time once we got our bearings and sampled ice cream and drinks in St Mark's Square. 3 hours each way from Rovinj was a long haul but still ample time in Venice without feeling rushed.

This is a trip that should not be missed. It was smooth running from start to finish, we had an excellent experience and a day in Venice which was amazing, informative and we left knowing that we had checked so many things off our bucket list! There are no complaints at all and I would advise anyone thinking about the trip dont let the price put you off , its one of the best day trips I have ever had, value for money, historical and informative.

The trip was amazing and the Tui rep at the hotel was really helpful. However the transfer in the morning wasn’t great, we were picked up at 5:30 and dropped off at the port with no information on where to go or how long we would be waiting or if anyone would meet us. Meaning our group had no idea what was happening and had to walk across the town to the port. This was not very professional and wasn’t a great start. I feel this part of the trip needs to be clearer for future travellers.

My only complaint is that we were not made aware that a kompas rep would meet us from the coach in Rovinj, we were dropped off at the bus stop by the port and left confused. We did let the tui hotel rep know so that future travellers could be made aware

Great way to see Venice. It's a long day but worth it. The catamaran was comfortable, indoors so also warm! They open up the upper deck on approach to Venice which is great. We took up the offer of the planned excursions with the guides which I would say is a good idea. If you don't then it will be more expensive and you could spend a lot of time wondering what to do. when you only have a day you need a plan. The guides were really good and we had a great day.
