Bij de ingangscontrole bleken onze voornamen niet overeen te komen met de officiële paspoortnamen. We konden ons keurig legitimeren met onze paspoorten maar het toegangscontrolepersoneel was weinig meewerkend: geen Colosseum en 120€ armer. Schandelijke manier van toeristen behandelen. Na telefonisch contact met de overigens zeer behulpzame TUI-helpdesk bleken we een regeltje hierover over het hoofd te hebben gezien bij de boeking, dus ook geen terugbetaling van het bedrag mogelijk.

Skulle gjerne visst på forhånd hvilket selskap som skulle guide oss. Vanskelig å finne frem når det er 6-8 forskjellige guidede turer og skulle også gjerne hatt bedre beskrivelse av oppmøtested da GPS viste at vi var fremme men det ikke stemte

Vi hade en fantastiskt kvinnlig guide som gjorde denna drygt 3 timmar långa tur till en tidsresa genom Roms historia med fokus på Colosseum. Kan säga att guiden gjorde ett fantastisk jobb och var effektiv och hjälpsam genom de olika säkerhets kontrollerna längs med vägen. Hon förberedde, förklarade och hjälpte gruppen med praktiska detaljer och lärde sig alla våra namn i vår grupp. Historian och faktan kändes relevant och lagomt mycket för denna turen. Vi är så nöjda!

We kregen zeker waar voor ons geld. Een tour onder leiding van een bevlogen gids, die heel veel over de locaties wist te vertellen. Hier en daar had het voor ons wel iets beknopter gemogen. Het bezoek aan het Forum Romanum was wat kort t.o.v. de andere locaties (Palatijn en Colosseum). Wij hadden daar wel wat langer willen rondkijken.

These tickets are fake don’t pay. I paid a fortune and they are invalid. I paid at the Colosseum in the end for real to tickets and they only cost 18 Euros each. I phoned customer service when I was at the Colosseum said they would reply. No reply. TUI are scammers don’t buy .

Maria our guide was very good and gave us so much information about the history of the collosseum, the forum and palatine hill. She made sure we all had time to take photos. We were give a headset at the beginning of the tour to hear her. We definitely recommend this tour if you go to Rome

Vår guide Manuela var helt fantastisk!! Hennes organisatör dök aldrig upp så hon fick ta hand om oss själv och det gjorde hon verkligen. Enda, ENDA anledningen till att jag inte satte 10 p på allt var att sätt blev försenat pga att denne "medhjälpare" inte dök upp. Manuela var perfetto!! Så kunnig, så rolig och omtänksam mot de kunder som hade svårt att röra sig. Vilken underbar dag!

Was a really good experience head pieces worked really well this time better than the ones used in the Vatican tour. The place is amazing the tour itself was well managed from the time we got to the meeting point easy instructions and the tour guide knew her stuff and didn’t rush us.

Instructions for meeting point unclear. Email refers to 20 Piazza del Colosseo and another in small print to Via del Fori, ref to meeting by a fountain yet there wasn't a fountain. Contact number for tour guide on booking email is wrong. Location for '20 Piazza del Colosseo' on Google Maps different to the actual location. Arrived at Colesseum in good time, tried to call well ahead of departure time (contact no & Tui) found correct meeting point 10 minutes late but tour had left, missed R Forum

Guiden, Valeria var fantastisk. Hun er utdannet arkeolog. Hun fortalte å viste med hele seg og med mye innlevelse. Fantastisk personlighet. Jeg hadde også henne som guide på 3 timers Nat Geo tour. Det var ingen andre påmeldte, så vi 2 gikk å snakket mye sammen mens hun igjen fortalt med stor innlevelse. 10/10. ??

Vi är besvikna då vi inte fick besöka colossuem med vårat förbokade och betalda besök. Vi var i tid till den plats som anvisats och följde de instruktioner vi fått. Bad om hjälp av guider på plats men ingen kunde hjälpa oss för ingen visste vilken lokal guide vi skulle vända oss till. Vi visade vår voucher och förklarade att vi köpt via er Tui. De skakade bara på huvudet och att vi behövde biljetter..

Helaas hadden we pech met onze gids: ze sprak niet vlot Engels en bracht haar verhaal zonder veel enthousiasme. Tegelijk zagen we andere gidsen in de buurt die goed verstaanbaar waren en een boeiend verhaal vertelden. Het voordeel van voorrang bij de wachtrijen was wel een groot pluspunt.

Die Frau die als Guide eingesetzt war, war kaum zu verstehen. Ihr Englisch war ein Kauderwelsch aus Englisch und Italienisch. Sie wusste offensichtlich viele Details über das Kolosseum. Aber wenn keiner ihr Englisch versteht...

Throughly enjoyed this excursion with a lovely guide who was very knowledgeable. We were very grateful for her help when we were refused admission because we didn’t have our passports with us but after much discussion between her, ourselves and the official we were finally allowed in

Guide ist sehr kompetent und hat sehr viel Hintergrundwissen vermittelt. Intime Gruppe von 5 Personen, sind sehr zügig an Warteschlagen vorbei gegangen. Verbesserungswürdig ist die Beschreibung des Treffpunktes und die Erkennung des Guides bei den Menschenmengen, die dort ebenfalls warten.
