Discover 'Slovakian Little Rome' on a half-day trip with train tickets included. Located just 40 km from Bratislav, you'll visit the historical city of Trnava with more churches than you can imagine, picturesque streets, laid back atmosphere and cozy cafes. Start by taking the train from Bratislava main train station to Trnava. After a journey of about 30 minutes, you will be greeted on the platform in Trnava by your licensed English speaking guide.Thanks to a great volume of religious buildings Trnava is known in Slovakia as 'Little Rome' or 'Slovakian Rome'. Stroll with your guide on a 2-hour tour through the baroque streets of the first royal town of Slovakia to find out why. See the beautiful St. Nicolas basilica together with monumental cathedral of St. John Baptist and end your sightseeing tour of the at Holly Trinity Square.Following your walking tour, you will have 2-hours of free time to explore the city center on your own, before hopping on the train back to Bratislava.
