Boa comida e boa diversão estão no menu do Popolaros Greek Taverna. Entre no clima de férias com esta clássica noite grega – você experimentará muitos pratos típicos locais, cuidadosamente preparados por Giorgios e sua equipe. Conforme o sol se põe sobre a ilha, as velas são acesas e os atores sobem ao palco. O som do bouzouki enche o ar, e você se pega batendo os pés no ritmo. Dmitri, um dos nossos guias locais especialistas, diz: "Por que não tentar dançar a dança tradicional grega zeibekiko? Você segue o ritmo conforme o andamento fica cada vez mais rápido." A noite começa com uma transferência para a convidativa taverna, onde você pode se deliciar com a culinária tradicional de Zante, preparada sempre que possível com produtos frescos da fazenda da família. O pão caseiro é feito com seu próprio trigo, e a maior parte da carne também é criada na fazenda. Vegetais orgânicos são cultivados pela família para saladas e acompanhamentos, e você ainda terá vinho ilimitado para saborear. Dmitri diz: "Minhas memórias de reuniões familiares, feriados e ocasiões especiais envolvem minha mãe, tias e avós assando. Frigania no verão, pãezinhos recheados com passas e nozes no Natal e, o ano todo, pão assado no forno a lenha." Popolaros é uma taverna tradicional onde cada prato é uma celebração da rica cultura e tradições da Grécia. Although the dancing and music were very entertaining, we were crammed in the room, eating was awkward.A couple on our table were pushed out by an extra guest , who wanted to be seated with freinds, The couple spoke to the guide who did nothing , so they left upset. Overall would not recommend, due to being uncomfortable with no room to move or eat properly. Maybe they dont adhere to heath and safety much, but in a issue of a fire, ,I'm very sure injuries would occur

Not what I was expecting at all I was expecting a night in a typical Greek taverna instead put in a small hall made to look similar to a taverna ( failed ) water and wine unlimited water was warm no ice the wine well should have taken a bottle or two home as paint stripper as no beer behind the bar just over priced spirits I am no kill joy this was my own experience others did seem to enjoy if I was to look at the that type of experience again I would just go to a local taverna

You need to remove the Line unlimited wine from your blurb for the trip. As it is not. Wine comes out for a while then the manager holds a bottle and says 10 Euro's. Not surprisingly people stop asking for wine. He doesn't bring out any more free. However the food is excellent. The first plate that came out people thought that was the main meal. So they struggled to eat the chicken and rice when it came out. The wine itself would be good for taking the top layer of gloss of paint.

Miss led with the booking.ie thought it was a small taverna type place with with covers of about 20/30.Not around 80 people. Sat like sardines.No choice of food .Got what you was given. That was the worst trip we have experienced with tui.

The evening entertainment was good and food ok too many people per table I was sat with the table legs in the way so could not sit to the table comfortably. I was also positioned behind a pillar so this restricted my view. The guide said hello and was there is had any questions other than that did not see her unsure of her purpose for being there the evening self explanatory. Special mention to the bus driver who drove bus 046. Wonderful driver……

Probably one of the best Greek nights I’ve been too, the only thing it could do better is have a better dessert after a lovely meal. They just brought a bowl of fruit, as it being a Greek night was expecting a Greek desert

Great fun and reasonably priced event. Plenty of food wine not so good. Would have been great if an alternative drink was automatically ready for kids though. Entertainment fantastic, so funny, highly recommended evening.

The atmosphere and scenery were excellent. There was a lot of different food to try would have been nice to know what the dishes were called though. Wine was nice - water & wine weren't replenished unless you asked. The waiting staff were very hard working, maybe a little understaffed but that was ok. The musicians & dancers were very talented it was a lot of fun getting everyone involved. Couldn't always hear the English narrative as background music too loud. Angela was great.

Pick up - don't wait for me when I was only 5 min delayed. The show is poor, the food it's not good. Notice: On the restaurant I contact the TUI's guide and her only concern is that I need a transport on return, not even an apologize about I didn't get the pick up. Overall was a bad expirience, and a bad service provided by TUI representative.

Guide/rep was just sat at the back eating. A saucepan full of water smashed down and drenched my husband. There was no dessert - unless you count shared watermelon. Dancing went on for so long that the enthusiasm dropped unless you’d been constantly drinking the wine. Starter was nice, main course meat was dry, lack of dessert means 2 courses for £35 each…not good enough. So many flashing lights there should have been an epilepsy warning.

Impossible to rate other than to say that the collection service didn’t arrive at the designated location and after waiting 20mins we gave up. Have requested a refund but are waiting for a response

The entertainment was fantastic
Unfortunately the food and wine was very poor - the wine undrinkable !! Probably the worst wine I’ve tasted in Greece since the 1980s !?!

Plenty of good food and white wine. Great entertainment and brilliant fun. 1st bottle of red wine on the table was lovely but subsequent bottles were like vinegar. It was very warm inside.

Think experience should state two course meal followed by selection of fruit. Seated with back to entertainment which I suppose with limited space was bad luck. Enjoyed the evening

Highly recommended - such a great experience, at a great price. Transfer, food, unlimited wine (and it really was!), entertainment, dancing - what more could we ask for!? The food was plentiful, and some of the tastiest chicken we have had in a very long time. The dancers were great and interacted well with the guests - thank you to them, the musicians and all the staff.

Went on far too long and very monotonous. Food wasn’t very tasty, basically chicken and rice and melon - not really what I would call Greek food. Wine was really cheap and there was no provision for people who like myself don’t drink alcohol. If you wanted a soft drink this was an extra cost which wasn’t stated. I don’t drink water either, but if you wanted more than one glass, again it was chargeable. Not really value for money, could have been so much better. Reminiscent of a care home

Well organised both from TUI coach pick up and the staff at the taverna bringing out food for over 150 people. The food was good quality and hot. The desert was fruit which was a bit basic and not enough for our table. Our only negative was that it was a late finish and the last 20 mins was a bit repetitive.

Brilliant night went too great lengths too make sure value for money was achieved the only thing I would like too see is a menu so you can see what the different food is as everyone on tables was eating starters and guessing but never found out what anything was food was just put infront of you

Wonderful evening, food was served promptly, nothing special but good value. Music and performers were amazing. Live singing and music by very good musicians. Dancers were brilliant and really engaged with the audience. Very well presented and lots of fun. Coach travel was prompt and guide was excellent ensuring everyone was well looked after.

The entertainment was fantastic and the dancers were very inclusive. I didn't enjoy the food so much but that is personal taste as I am not a fan of garlic. There was plenty food wine and water and the servers were very friendly.

Great atmosphere the food wasn’t as authentic Greek like I thought it would be. There should be an explanation that it would be a 3 course meal. We had to pay for extra water but aside from that the show was ok and Constantina was as amazing as she was on our Kefalonia trip.

Reps were great, service was good and entertainment however main meal was chicken and rice nothing Greek about that. Pudding was chopped up pear and kiwi nothing green about that. Entertainment worked very hard but was extremely loud you couldn’t hear yourself think

The dancing and food where lovely. Plenty of food and entertainment. It was described as a wine tasting however 1 bottle of wine was offered (white) between 4 adequate amount of wine however not what Id call a wine tastying. Getting involved with the dancing and the story was wondering and the setting was lovely. However some more explanation of what was happening and why wouldve made it a better learning experience. No soft drink alternative offered for non drinkers and they had to purchas.
