Het was op zich een hele leuke dag, vooral het varen bij die bronnen was heel mooi. Alleen hadden we een Nederlandse reisgids die echt nog een hoop moet leren, ze wist bijna niets, hield de groep niet in de gaten, ook niet toen we weer terug gingen met de boot, toen checkte ze niet eens of iedereen weer aan boord was, dat was wel een beetje jammer, we hebben hier e98 voor betaald en dan krijg je zoiets amateuristisch... maar gelukkig hebben we toch een mooie en leuke dag gehad

We enjoyed everything about this trip. The guides were excellent and knowledgeable. The bay of bones wasn't included but they still did a close up / slow down with some basics explained. There was a lovely row boat excursion included too. Delightful!

Goede service, mooie boottochten met informatieve gidsen. Ik vond het minder dat je weinig tijd (20min) kreeg bij de kerk&klooster en na de roeiboottocht had je maar +- 75 min vrije tijd voordat de boot weer vertrok. Je moest dan kiezen of je gaat zwemmen of je gaat eten bij het restaurant. Verder echt genoten van de dag.

Enthousiaste gidsen, mooie boottocht, schitterend klooster (niet heel groot) en leuk roeiboottochtje (niet heel lang). Wat weinig tijd bij het klooster; we hadden nog wel even in de tuin willen kijken, maar we hebben redelijk lang getafeld (erg gezellig!). Anders hadden we deze tijd kunnen besteden om de tuin te bezichtigen.

There was confusion with the pick-up despite my time and location confirmed night before. Bus didn't pick me up as planned, but a lovely TUI lady rescued me in her car and caught the boat in time - just! The boat trip to St. Naum was great (avoid toilet!) the visit around the church was busy, but interesting. Loved the mini boat trip and spoke to some great people at the restaurant for lunch. Free time was right amount of time.

We werden niet opgehaald bij onze accommodatie ondanks dat , dat door een tui medewerker wel beloofd was. Daarnaast vertelde de gids nauwelijks iets. Ook kwam er halverwege de tocht een groep kinderen bij ons aan boord die overlast veroorzaakte en op de terugweg ook nog eens als eerst plaats mocht nemen op de boot. De dag was opzich prima, maar voor hetzelfde geld heb je bij lale tours een betere excursie en wordt je wel vanuit trpejca opgehaald voor de excursie.

Deze excursie is ons heel erg tegen gevallen. In de omschrijving wordt het allemaal veel mooier voorgedaan als het daadwerkelijk is. Op de dag dat wij deze excursie hadden geboekt fungeerde de boot als taxiboot en moest 4 onderweg stoppen. Hierdoor hadden we zeer beperkt de tijd om St. Naum te bekijken en zelfs de gids was in de stress omdat ze haar verhaal niet volledig kon doen. Ook de roeiboottocht is ingekort. Al met al geen waar voor het geld en werden we verplicht ergens te eten.

The trip was excellent. Beautiful scenery, interesting historical narrative from the guide and some free time to explore. The pick up was very good, with your representative arriving early. However we could have made our own way to the harbour and avoided this altogether.

The journey may bit long for some as hour and half so point that out , the tour guide was very good , his knowledge and enthusiasm was clear . Most beautiful place . Recommend it to those interested in history plus the natural beauty of the springs

Enjoyed most things about the trip, especially the rowing boat ride over the springs which was very relaxing. Jan our guide was very informative and kept the group together when they needed to be. All in all the whole trip was very well organised. The one thing I was disappointed about was not stopping at the Bay of Bones.

De trip op zichzelf is de moeite waard. Zeker de stilte bronnen en het restaurant. De gids was niet van TUI maar ingehuurd. Maar eigenlijk mag je deze dame geen gids noemen. Tijdens de bus- en bootreis absoluut geen informatie over wat je ziet. Op Naum alleen een kort verhaaltje over het beeld en verder niets. Daarna werd er alleen gevraagd of je wilde lunchen en thats it. Dit is dan ook de reden dat bij "waar voor je geld" een laag cijfer staat.

The trip was oversubscribed so on journey there sat below deck which was unsatisfactory. Getting off the boat was highly dangerous and very unsettling, an elderly lady was terrified and I felt frightened to be pulled over onto the quayside by ship staff to get off due to height to step off. Very disappointing and not the usual standard of TUI tours.

No information given during the day. Only when at St Naum some history about the place is given. There is no time for swimming. It is very busy, people smoking on the boat, then throwing the cigarette in the lake.

Moesten zelf naar haven lopen daar konden we niemand vinden van tui zelf aan het zoeken en vragen gegaan uiteindelijk zaten we op boot toen maar hopen dat we goed zaten op bootje bij de bronnen werd er niks verteld en die man vaarde niet tot het einde hij had er gewoon de kracht niet voor

Our guide was lovely and very knowledgable. St Naum is beautiful and the row boat was so nice, never experienced anything like it. Food was great at the restraunt. Definitely worth it.

Schitterende trip, je wordt met de bus opgehaald en teruggebracht van vakantie **********, vervolgens plusminus 2 uur over het meer gevaren naar het klooster. Bezichtiging van het klooster hebben we niet kunnen doen helaas, lange rij ervoor om binnen te komen. Erg krap allemaal. Uitgezonderd daarvan hebben wel erg genoten en veel er van gezien, mooie omgeving, en als kers op de taart tot slot het tripje in de kleine bootjes wat een erg leuke belevenis is.

Totally enjoyed the whole trip.It was lovely to see the area from the lake and St Naum monastery was amazing. The only slight thing was it would be better to include The Bay of Bones payment and have a little more time there to view the area

This was a great trip and an opportunity to see much of the area on a boat trip. The monastery is in a stunning location and the cold water springs are beautiful and the highlight of the trip. Only let down by a rude and aggressive minibus driver who picked us up and the boat having zero health and safety considerations. ( The seats on deck are just unfixed kitchen chairs and I saw no life vests anywhere ). The guide was knowledgeable and provided lots of information about the region.

a great day out was good value for money the guide at the monestery was knowlegable and the spring boat ride was lovely. only downside was not enough time at the bay of bones stop to actually go in as only 30 min allocated, if the bot hadn't stopped at 3 hotels to pick up en route more time could have been allocated

Really great trip. Jordan has been a superb guide. This was our second trip with Jordan. He was very informative, friendly yet professional. He was very helpful when we were on the first trip to the waterfall.

De trip op zich en de gids was uitstekend. Alleen de communicatie hoe bik de boot te komen kan beter. In de voucher staat dat je word opgehaald terwijl het hotel op 250 meter afstand van de haven ligt. Naar telefonisch contact werd het allemaal wat duidelijker, maar dit zal en kan niet iedereen. Dus wat meer duidelijkheid zou wenselijk zijn.

Very much enjoyed the boat trip on the beautiful, crystal clear waters of Lake Ochrid. Our guide was excellent and by sheer coincidence turned out to be an architect (like me, albeit I am retired). Very interesting history and the little boat trip on the black river (a misnomer really - I’ve never seen such clear waters in my life!) was also very good indeed. A meal in the restaurant with entertainment (courtesy of a party of people next to us) by a local group of musicians was a bonus-great!

Bij de eerste uitstap, het museum op het water, hadden we 15 minuten voor. Ik was met mijn ouders die allebei niet meer zo snel zijn en minder goed kunnen lopen (81 jaar) en daar was dus echt veel te weinig tijd voor. Het kerkje zelf was zo ontzettend druk dat we amper iets gezien hebben. Het roeiboottochtje was wel erg mooi

De tocht met de grote boot was echt genieten. Het klooster was mooi. Het hoogtepunt was het varen in de kleine bootjes over de ijskoude waterbronnen. Een oudere ober uit het restaurant was even ingezet om ons te roeien. Daarna kregen we ruim de tijd om lekker te kunnen eten, incl live muziek. Echter van die ruime tijd had ik liever gezien dat er een uurtje was geweest om het museum Bay of the Bones te bezoeken. We voeren er nu alleen langs. We zijn er zelf later nog apart naar toe gegaan.

There were 53 people in our group divided between 2 guides. The large boat x2 were packed making the visit very crowded. The guide wasn’t able to give very much of an explanation if the various areas in fact lots of buildings around the grounds did not even cover. Guided towards a restaurant for lunch were no area was saved for us so everyone trying to get a table - food poor. The day hadn’t started well when we were given the wrong time to be at the pick up point 1 hour too early

Too much time waiting for the boat to leave the port and hardly any time after lunch (which isn’t included even though the website states it is. A table is booked) to actually enjoy where you are. In retrospect, would have done this trip independently. Would have been cheaper too.

The boat trip, there and back was very good. The guide was helpful. The monastery was good but felt we weren’t given long enough in the church or an expanded explanation. The smaller boat trip to see the springs was good. We had to pay extra for for lunch. Maybe pay more in the ticket price and have lunch included.

Je zit meer op de boot dan dat je daar bent, dan vind ik de prijs te veel, ook omdat er geen eten bij in zit. Maar het was wel heel mooi, vooral de bronnen.

Loved the boat trip to St Naum. Beautiful scenery, with information about various sights provided by our guides. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. The boat ride on the lake was a highlight of the excursion, and plenty of time allowed for a swim afterwards. Great tour, would definitely recommend.

Het is een prachtige tocht waarbij je veel van de omgeving ziet. De reisleidster was erg aardig, maar haar verhaal bij het klooster was wat moeilijk te volgen door wat minder sterk Engels. Derhalve voelde dit weinig toevoegend. Met de roeiboot over de bronnen was ook echt heel erg mooi en zeker nog een bezoek waard!

Mooie iconen en kerk van het klooster. Maar ik had groter verwacht. Maar misschien was het omdat we reeds verschillende andere kerken reeds bezochten. Mooie lange boottocht. Bezoek aan de bronnen zeker de moeite.

Plus: prachtige uitzicht over het landschap van Macedonië. Bij St Naum zal er een rondleiding worden gegeven in het kerk/klooster. Daarna zal je in een roeiboot vervoerd worden over het rivier en dit rivier is drinkwater. Dus dat was een onvergetelijke ervaring. Min: Na de roeiboot wordt er geluncht bij het restaurant, hierover moet je zelf betalen. Tijdens de boottocht wordt er zowel op de heen en terugweg meerdere keren een tussenstop gemaakt om andere passagiers op te nemen.

Didn't like 1) Not dropped off nearer boat 2) Guide not introducing himself until after we reached monastery - about 2.5 hours after trip began 3) Not enough time spent at Bay of Bones Liked 1) Guide was good (once introduced) 2) the rowing boat trip on the springs was brilliant - would have been something I wouldn't have paid for if I had gone independently and therefore really glad I did this trip thru TUI. 3) plenty of time at the Monastery
