For a change of pace from the bright and buzzy atmosphere of Parga, you'll take a scenic bus ride 40 minutes up the coast to the town of Sivota. On your early evening visit, there's time to enjoy this quietly authentic slice of Greece. Take a wander around the marina, where fishing boats bob and colourful shops sell locally made olive oil and ouzo. As the sun sets, find yourself a sundowner at one of the tavernas and check out the fresh seafood on offer – calamari is a top pick here.

Perfect evening trip. Timed perfect to catch the sunset in sivota. Plenty of time to have a meal, look around shops and take lots of photos

The resort was not as pretty as the one we left. It just seemed a lot of money, just to have a meal at a poorer resort. You live and learn. Would we recommend it, sorry no.

Savota was a beautiful place and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. I had seen the place online and was so glad when I arrived in parga that this trip had just started

Very nice trip, well organised. Plenty of time to have a meal and enjoy Sivota which was a lovely place to visit. Maybe worth considering a day trip
