A true bucket-list Arctic experience from Oulu, this unforgettable adventure aboard the legendary Icebreaker Sampo takes you across the frozen Bothnian Sea for an extraordinary winter journey.With round-trip transfers from Oulu to the harbor in Kemi included, your day runs smoothly from start to finish. During the 4-hour cruise, watch the powerful vessel carve through thick sea ice and admire the spectacular Arctic scenery.You’ll be welcomed with a non-alcoholic drink before joining a guided tour of the ship, including areas such as the engine room and captain’s bridge. Step onto the frozen sea (weather permitting) and experience the thrill of floating in icy waters while wearing a thermal survival suit. The cruise is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Icebreakers are not wheelchair accessible

Walking on the ice might not be available in early winter season cruises due to ice conditions

The minimum height required for the ice floating activity is 140 cm

Your ticket includes access to exhibitions and experiences in the SnowCastle area

It is warm inside the Icebreaker. With appropriate clothing, you can also go outside on the deck to experience the Arctic scenery

Pick-up points from Oulu: 09.40 am Oulu City Hall (Kirkkokatu 2a, Oulu), 09.45 am Scandic City (Saaristonkatu 4, Oulu), 10.00 am Nallikari, turning point/bus stop at Aalto Hotel (Nallikarinranta 10, Oulu).The bus will pick you up outside at the front of your pick-up place. Please be ready and wait outside at least 5 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time. The shuttle bus has 'Icebreaker Sampo Shuttle bus' reading at the front of the windshield.
