Le sentier de la Caldera Taburiente traverse le seul parc national de l'île, le point fort de la populaire randonnée pédestre de La Palma. Suivez le sentier qui sillonne le bassin d'un cratère de volcan, contemplez des paysages incroyables et visitez l'insolite Cascada de los Colores, une chute d'eau où les eaux riches en fer créent un effet aux couleurs de l'arc-en-ciel dans la roche.

The TUI description for this trips needs to make it clearer that this is a strenuous five/six hour hike down difficult terrain with little shade for the last three hours. You have to be pretty fit to complete this, especially in the summer heat. This is a full day trip - we were picked up at 8.30am and arrived back at hotel at 7pm.The guide Sylvie was great and pointed out interesting geology and flora on the way. It was a great way to see the real La Palma but was exhausting!

I like a real hike. This was too easy for athletes, who are better to walk to the lighthouse if in sunny far south La Palma or towards beaches or forests if elsewhere on the semi sunny if not whole week sunny north/east/west. Seismologists will however need to take a guided walk such as this to understand the world region’s risks and actions best taken.

We needed more information beforehand about the length and severity of the walk. We found that if we had booked direct we would have known what to expect. However once we were picked up we were well looked after and the walk was a wonderful experience and also very good value for money.

Full day out with great guide (Femke). Frequent stops. Courteous drivers. Bring a packed lunch and plenty of water. We were lucky with the weather.

Great experience but wouldn’t do it again. We booked the trip for my son’s 11 Birthday and we regretted at the end.He was so tired at the end that he did even cry and my husband had to carry him.
Otherwise it was very picturesque and the guide was great, so if you are walking a lot definitely do it
