A warm welcome at the beachside village of Afitos awaits on this evening excursion. It's the place to be on the weekends, too, with live music, shops and traditional tavernas churning out steaming hot plates of delicious food. You'll be dropped off in the village for the evening where you can eat, drink and do as much or as little as you want.On arrival, you'll soon be swept away by the lively atmosphere that takes over the village every weekend. You'll be shown around by your guide, before around three hours to enjoy as you wish. Perhaps browse the shops for souvenirs or sip on an ouzo while live music comes and goes in waves.Then there are tavernas and bars overlooking the sea where you can grab a cocktail or a bite to eat with some impressive views. And with your return transfer already sorted, you don't need to worry about the drive back. It's a fun-filled night out in a pretty corner of Halkidiki.

We should have been told how far and difficult the walk into the village was, also the guide didn't wait for everyone to get to him before giving his talk. There were quite a few people including myself who had walking difficulties.

Our guide was friendly and helpful but it might be helpful for people with mobility issues to be advised that there are steps without rails and it might be very uneven underfoot. It would also be p,easing if the tour was offered during the day so that advantage could be taken of the views.

Well in excess of 100 ( 2 1/2 coach loads) of people, 2 guides 3 languages and a very small and pretty village. Listening to information in such a large group was very difficult other than that we found the experience very enjoyable. The transportation by our Coach driver was excellent especially when he had so many complicated pickups and drop offs

Viele Läden waren leider bereits geschlossen. Die Umgebung war soweit in Ordnung. Es gab eine kleine Führung, die war jedoch eher belastend, da wir die Zeit lieber so genutzt hätten. Wir waren für den Preis sehr enttäuscht, 36€ pro Person war einfach viel zu teuer. Am besten wäre, wenn man den Ausflug von 15-20 Uhr gemacht hätte, da hätte man noch den Strand gesehen und den Sonnenuntergang.

Lot longer on the coach than anticipated, very busy when we arrived, couldn’t hear the guide so went off on own, in retrospect would’ve been easier to explore before dark. Didn’t get enough information on what was there so missed historic sights that were probably hidden behind gift shops and bars.

Beautiful place. Would of been better if trip had started earlier, as the town was lovely and it would of been nice to see it in the daylight. Lots to experience in such a short time. Told coach would be leaving at 11-30 pm, but it actually left at 11pm.

The App offers the trip as £14, go into the app there’s that famous little word FROM! We booked via the rep, was charged £23 each. IT IS NOT WORTH THAT MONEY!!! DO NOT GO WITH YOUR REP!!! Go on the local bus for 2 euros each way, each person. You waste so much time with pickups & the guide is speaking 3 languages to 200 people. People couldn’t hear, didn’t know what was happening. The little tour through the town is a waste of time. Explore on your own, enjoy a stunning little old Greet town

Our guide told us that we would be told about the history and culture of Afytos. When we arrived we were marched down to the village centre together with about 100 other people from other coaches. With the noise of the village and being towards the back of the large group we could not hear the guide at all, so learnt nothing about Afytos. There was nothing else to see other than cheap touristy gift shops .Would not recommend this trip at all.

Afitos was beautiful, but would have been better if you were there in time to see the sunset. It takes about 45 mins if no traffic to get there, from blue lagoon princess, as were last pick up. £68 euros for two adults our child was free. Wish we had seen how much taxi would have been so we would have seen the sunset instead.

Great place to visit and the knowledge of the guide was brilliant, happy that he only lead us for 25 minutes and then left us to explore. The village is very beautiful but very congested and certainly not for those who are unable to walk up and down hills without any support

Die Führung war sehr informativ und kurzweilig. Sie hätte einige Minuten länger sein dürfen, hat sich auf das wesentliche beschränkt. Es waren zwei Busse und in Deutsch und Englisch. Hier wäre es geschickter gewesen diese zwei Gruppen zu trennen. Auch zeitliche Anpassungen, wegen des Sonnenuntergangs hätten das Erlebnis noch weiter vertieft. Dennoch hat uns die Tour sehr viel Spaß gemacht und die schöne Altstadt kam voll zur Geltung. Auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert

The transfer to and from this activity is fine, the guides are attentive, informative and ensured we were returned home safely. The issue is that this village is extremely busy and unless you had booked a restaurant you had a hour plus wait to get a table. It is extremely busy and hot in the village centre. It would be helpful to have this information prior to arriving so you could make advance restaurant bookings.

Typical oversold tui trip and not as described. Told dropped off in centre and had to walk up a few steps, when we were dropped off outside the village on the main road and had to walk over half a mile on various inclines, no steps. The coach out was fully booked with my wife and myself at opposite ends of the bus as no sests together available. Recommended and pre booked restaurant made us wait for 45 mins before giving us a drink or taking our order and we suffered the worst ever service .

1 guide for 3/4 buses. No idea about the history or anything which I love to know about. No idea where the place was that we needed to meet up. Don’t say there’s a guided tour when clearly there isn’t! Afitos itself is lovely, shops and restaurants amd a nice atmosphere.. We went nikos pizza, it was really good and staff great. Next time I’ll just get a taxi there and back.

didn’t know that we were getting a tour which we had to walk which wasn’t very accessible if you have wheelchair or pushchairs ( no proper footpath and cars coming in all directions). Once we had finished walking with the tour guide all of the restaurants were full and we walked for an hour to find a place to eat if you go book a restaurant in advance. The shops were beautiful. If you want to go the taxis are much cheaper than the bus as costed way to much for what the experience was.

An amazing place to visit and worth a trip. Could do it a little cheaper by taxi. Coach drivers really helpful. However the TUI rep and tour guide led the group off too quickly and didn’t consider the people at the back of the group or who were slower. Therefore at the stops, no idea what was said or have any acces the information shared. The large group for split up with people at the back left to fend for themselves.

Would not know how the trip was as bus turned up over an hour later. By which point there was no one waiting anymore as it would have been a waste of time going and as it was so late everyone including children weee very hungry to had to go find food. However the Tui rep: really did do there best to find out what was happening and kept us informed thou the company clearly was lie to the rep about how long the wait was going to be In the end we got a full refund for the trip.

Zu teuer für die erbrachten Leistungen. 64 Euro für den Transfer ( 2 Personen) mit einer Führung mit 3 kleinen Stationen empfinden wir als zu teuer. Louis der Guide hat es toll gemacht, die Führung reichte auch von der Zeit aber insgesamt war die Fahrt überteuert.

Pick up was early, but then quite a lengthy delay waiting for other pick ups. When we got to Afytos, we were greeted by Louis. He was very good, conversing easily in English and German. Bearing in mind that on the occasion that we went, we as English were in the minority, Louis On the way down to the village we made several stops. At the last stop, the info in German went on for 15 mins plus and we ran out of time to get the info as we had a dinner reservation. Could do with 2 couriers.

TUI Rep Clare was great, explained the trip, recommended a restaurant and reserved us a table. Was lovely! Glide was ok, felt a bit chaotic when we got off the bus salt the side of a main road and then walked as a group. In our view there were too many people for the, effectively, one guide. Essentially for us it was a bus ride there and back.

Afitos bei Nacht war ein toller Ausflug , gut organisiert. Afitos ist ein wunderschönes Dorf mit einer Prominade schönen Lokalen, eine Besichtigung ist es wert. Am Ende des Dorfes kann man auf beide Finger und auf die Insel die wie eine Schildkröte aussieht schauen.

We were late leaving by 35 mins. Town itself was pretty but not what you’d expect. We were told to be back at the bus for 11.30 but bus left at 11.15 leaving 2 people behind meaning we stopped about 20 mins back into our journey on the side of a carriageway. We thought the bus had broken down at first as driver just got off. 30 mins later we realised 2 people had been left behind when they got back in the bus. Felt for them. Badly organised that eve.

We were informed it was a 30 min transfer when in fact it was 50 mins! We were not advised that we would be dropped off on the main road and that there was a hilly walk down and back out of the village which was an issue for some people on our coach. Visitors need to be asked if they have any disabilities. Other than this Afytos is a vibrant very pretty Greek village with plenty of tavernas and bars as well as lovely gift and jewellery shops. Definitely worth a visit.

Afitos is a beautiful place and the little shops and bars were lovely but the coach journey there and back was not great. The roads are very bouncy so we felt a bit travel sick when we arrived. The journey was 50minutes not the 30 as described. It is also not suitable for people with mobility issues as a very hilly walk down and up again to the village itself. This isn’t clear in the tour description

This tour was amazing. We were picked up outside of our hotel, and everything was smooth. The tour guide Louis was so kind and knowledgeable, telling us information about the town and surrounding areas. The shops were beautiful and all stayed open late for us. It was the best night of our holiday by far! I would recommend this to anyone.

Die Stadt ist sehr schön anzusehen und definitiv einen Ausflug wert, aber der Preis von 34€ p.P. Ist hier schon fast unverschämt. Aufgrund des hohen Preises (eigentlich ja nur für die Busfahrt) würd ich den Ausflug nicht nochmal buchen, bzw weiterempfehlen.

I love Afitos itself but felt on hindsight the cost of 28 euros excessive. After the experience we found that a local taxi would have taken us for 40 euros return. This is less than the cost of one person of your tour. Plus we our hotel was not a pick up point so we had to walk to the main road. The taxi would have taken us door to door.

Prompt pick up , good instructions re where to meet for return … I would suggest breaking the group down for the initial guide , we were at the back & could not hear anything about the place … the town itself is worth a visit , very quaint & enjoyed the shopping !

Restaurant recommended by guide was amazing. Stunning food. Think it was called the Vouka. Had the Belly Pork dish, it was beautiful!! Nice little town, but not a lot to do once you walked around once. Got some lovely sunset pictures. Worth the visit.

Very disappointed and disorganised. Got off was told to walk with lady guide and the main guide would meet us. We waited he never showed up do we walked to viewing point he was still not to be seen. Asked the lady she said he know more and we had to wait to be told. He never came so everyone just dispersed then about 15 mins later he finally arrived with another coach load so had no verbal guide. So basically bad service

Afitos is beautiful and more than well worth a visit. The organisation is appalling. The guide was rude when asked a question he said "I don't understand your accent" and walked off. He spent 20mins counting the people on the coach looking for 2 people who hadn't come on the trip in the first place!

Afitos bei Nacht. Die gute Nachricht: Es war keine lange Busfahrt. Die Reiseleitung war in Deutsch und Englisch und sehr nett. Wobei man beim Essen, auch wenn es viele Restaurants gibt, damit rechnen muss, dass man in den Restaurants lange anstehen muss, um etwas zu essen zu bekommen. Außer in den Schnellimbissen. Ein reges Treiben in der Stadt ist bei so vielen Geschäften klar. Kann man machen, muss man aber nicht

Told we would be picked up at 6.30, instead it was 7.05, different tickets said different things. By the time we got there we only had time to find a taverna for a meal!! Town is lovely but it was packed, had to wait 20mins for a table. Maybe might be better to book a taverna for a certain amount of people? Got back past midnight......

Efficient pick up met by a guide who gave the group a quick tour with some information ((approx 20 mins ) rest of the time was yours to enjoy Ayftos. Depending on location of hotel it could be a late night return.

The evening was great, the guide was good, through no fault of the coach driver we were waiting for a very long time for 1 couple who were very late and far exceeded the time we were supposed to leave which made everyone else on the coach cross and late getting back to their hotels
