Qué esperar
Je krijgt meteen zin om te feesten als je in Xoximilco aan boord gaat van één van de kleurrijke trajinera's. Op de kanalen vaar je voorbij muzikanten die Mexicaanse deuntjes ten beste geven. Je smult ondertussen van de authentieke Mexicaanse keuken en spoelt alles weg met tequila. We brengen je bovendien keurig terug naar je hotel, zodat je met volle teugen geniet van je avondje Cancún.Deze versie in Cancún van het echte Xochimilco, in Mexico-Stad, laat je kennismaken met dat typisch Azteekse labyrint van kanalen. Tijdens deze avondboottocht komt de omgeving helemaal tot leven. In de trajinera's, die op gondels lijken, vervoerden Mexicanen vroeger bloemen, fruit en groenten. Tegenwoordig feest je er in typisch Mexicaanse stijl. Aan boord brengen muzikanten in traditionele klederdracht mariachi- en boleromuziek ten gehore en ze spelen op de marimba. Intussen geniet jij volop van de traditionele Mexicaanse keuken.Maar geen feestje zonder gratis drank. De hele avond drink je zoveel tequila, bier, frisdrank of water als je maar wil. Give more detailed information about leaving the boat after first course, and what is expected afterwards. More servers(drinks) needed (was not aware could help myself to spirits. Found food too small to actually enjoy. Games were fun, guide at front most of time so went home sober

We really enjoyed the whole evening. The place itself is set out beautifully. Definitely recommend that you pay for the photo package. Very reasonable cost and professional photos. The guides are fantastic, and once on board your boat, the fun never stops. Plenty of entertainment as you cruise the river with loads of bands to keep you entertained throughout the evening. Fun, games and plenty of Tequila. Definitely recommend this excursion

A must do trip!! The experience was amazing. Fantastic live music (lots!), great local food explained by the host, alcohol in abundance. Incredible vibes and the host made it so fun for us!! One of the best nights we’ve had. Only negative is the experience is pushy in trying to sell you stuff and at the start of experience you’re in the gift shops which felt a bit forced.

Pünktliche Abholung am Hotel, ca 1 std Hinfahrt. Vor Ort geht man durch einen Shop über eine Hängebrücke zu den Booten. Die Stimmung ist sehr positiv. Auf dem Boot gibt es ein paar wenige Chips, Dips und viel Tequila. Es wird Musik gespielt und getanzt. Der Guide achtet sehr darauf, dass alle wieder zurückkommen. Es ist ein gelungener und freudiger Abend, empfehlenswert.

This was billed as a booze cruise with enjoyment of Mexican music from around different parts of the country. We booked this is a special celebration for my partners 30th and whilst it was very obvious it was birthday given the large badge and hat, this was ignored until other guests pointed it out half way round. Food was barely edible, guide only seemed interested in those who spoke Spanish. The whole thing was about 90 mins too long. It also took us 2 hours to get there! Not impressed!

Enjoyed the whole event, food, drink, staff all very good. 2 slights negatives We were the only English ppl on our boat and the guide seemed to forget every now and again to translate things for us The 30min wait at the shops at the start is nothing but a tourist trap

The experience ran very smoothly we were a bit difficult with the fact we had friends at another resort that we wanted to connect with on the same night. Tui customer service were great trying to accomodate and although they could not guarantee we would be on the same boat we was and ended up having the night of our lives. Only negative is xocimillco used to give out free bug spray in the toilets and now you have to pay.

We were put on a punt with 20 Spanish speaking guests we were the only 2 who didn’t speak Spanish so we felt excluded the whole of the experience we couldn’t interact with the other guests due to the language barrier The first part of the tour was a complete waste of time as all it was was telling everyone your name where you came from and what you wanted out of the night then you had to Howel like a wild animal which is difficult to do when you can’t understand anyone

The coach picked us up at 4.40pm but we didn't get to the place until 7pm so a very long bus ride for what should have been an hour away. There were other hotel pick ups but we were stopped in one for 30 minutes with no explanation. The guides were great fun and it was very authentic feeling. It was all in Spanish and we don't speak Spanish however we didn't mind this as it felt like an immersion experience and we understood what was going on, not their fault we can't speak Spanish. A great time

Det var en fantastisk upplevelse! Vår ”guide” Josue var fantastisk och fick igång hela gänget. Vi var de enda som inte förstod spanska men det löste sig ändå och vi hade en riktigt bra kväll. Maten var ingen höjdare enligt våra smaklökar men det gjorde inget. Mycket dricka, dans och skratt. Denna utflykt rekommenderas verkligen.

EVERYONE who wants a true Mexican experience should come to this place. It was so much fun my cheeks hurt from laughing and smiling. Fantastic staff , beautiful music and we got to really get to know each other from many countries all in the same boat. PANCHO was the best guide in the house and took care of us from transportation to entertainment. We were the only english speaking guests on our boat and he always made sure we knew what each special stop was about. We LOVE you Pancho THANK YOU.

Buenas tardes, si es un espectáculo para saber, de la cultura mexicana, música y gastronómica, la verdad que deja mucho que desear. Lo que pudimos ver es que desde la trajinera parte de atras, escuchar música pero poco y poco visibilidad. Lo que se fomenta mucho es la diversión y muy ligada al tequila y alcohol, mi experiencia sinceramente no es buena. Precio calidad no volvería sinceramente. Lo que me esperaba es un espectáculo, no fomentar tanto el alcohol y que salga la gente, vomitando etc

The experience was a lot of fun. Our guide Antonio had a lot of energy and he interacted well with everyone. He was very attentive and wanted to make sure it was fun for everyone. While I liked the experience, it was way too long. This adventure could have been cut by at least an hour and a half, and we would have still had a good time.

Staff were amazing - Francisco and Antonio and the captian Alan. The food was tasty and drinks flowing, music and dancing a lot of fun. Overall a really great evening made by the entertainment staff. Exceeded our expectations!

The atmosphere was fantastic and we had a great guide on our boat. It is a party boat with beer & plenty of tequila but no other alcoholic drinks, wine would be nice. The food is limited amount, so better to eat before in my opinion. The music stops were great and we could get up and dance, sort of as limited room. It was great talking to different people from around the world. I think the price is a bit steep. My partner got very drunk on tequila but we had a great night.

It was a very enjoyable experience very unique. I learnt more about the Mexican culture, food drink and music. The only thing I didn't enjoy was tequila I can't stand the stuff lol but I drank it anyway. I wasn't expecting alot of walking once off the bus to get to the boat as I have a really bad knee, luckily the lovely staff helped me back to the bus in a wheelchair and I was so so grateful...

we were collected by our host Jose from our resort, he spent the whole evening informing us of history, jokes party games and did his very best to keep our boat entertained. The amount of fun we all had that night dancing with Mariachi bands, general boat dancing, sampling foods & drink. also having to speak spanish and translate in to english was funny. an all round good night with a boat full of strangers that became friends for the night... Thank you Jose!!

Our host, Israel was absolutely wonderful. He made the whole experience and vibe. Pure party and fun. The food was very good and drinks free flowing. The music and bands were out of this world. Such a brilliant atmosphere. Would do it again in a heartbeat!

The transport to the venue was fast and fully air conditioned. It might have been nice to have drinks provided as a bonus. In addition, before the boat party started, we did have to wait around a bit with no drinks provided. However, there was a fully open bar once we got on board. The guide got everyone up dancing and partying and the food was very tasty. Was a great way to finish our holiday.

Very long transfer from Riviera Maya. Only Spanish speakers on the transfer and boat. Games played didn’t understand we only spoke English. Other pick ups not from TUI, other pick ups. Had to wait for other guests as arrived before their pick up times. Food was not what I would call a dinner. Really says it all that they issued vomit bags for the transfer back to our hotels

The experience itself was enjoyable, except we were the only 2 English people on our boat. Fortunately most of the other guests spoke English, but most of the trip they conversed with each other in Spanish. Our guide on the boat had to keep explaining what was happening. It was my birthday and he kindly got everyone to sing happy birthday in English. Overall its a good night, but I wish we had known beforehand that we were going to be the only English people on the boat.

The guide was brilliant. It would have been good to know about the possibility of Miskitos in advance to prepare it wouldn't have put me off but we weren't prepared luckily the family next to us were local so shared their spray. They were 2 very drunk and annoying boys on the bus back who would not leave my daughter alone and were sick which spoiled the evening somewhat they should have been put in a different form of transport and the guide did not stop one of the guys hassling my daughter.

Had a fabulous evening celebrating my 50th birthday. The night was exciting and fun and the music was excellent. The food was really tasty and the drinks just kept flowing. A perfect way to celebrate an occasion with friends. Unfortunately we were the only English people on the boat so a little bit frustrating for us but that is not the trips fault. Our guide did amazingly translating everything for us . Fantastic!!!!

Great time on this excursion, food and entertainment was great, good to be able to dance around the boat. Could of done with more choice of drinks such as wine as only tequila and beer. The beginning felt a bit rushed to get to the boat, didn’t feel like we had time to go to the toilet, shops and photo packages as queues at toilets so big. Transfers straight from the hotel were great. My tip would be to make sure you remember the name of your boat and put sticker somewhere safe as mine fell off

De excursie zelf was zeker leuk. De busrit heen duurde maximaal 1 uur dus dit viel wel mee. Bij aankomst moesten we 1 uur wachten voordat we op het bootje konden. Dit viel erg tegen. Dus vanuit Playa del Carmen zit je 2 uur te wachten voordat het begint. Onze mening wel een aanrader maar wel veelste prijzig.

Probably not for kids but we had the best time. Tried a selection of Mexican foods and drink with great music. Made friends from around the world, lots of dancing; a fun night. One of our favourite things that we did in Mexico.

Really enjoyed the xoximilco boat experience, the food, drink, entertainment and boat guide and driver were excellent, however the transfer got us to the park entrance at 6:14pm, the tour did not start till 7:30, there was nothing to do but hang around, felt like a ploy to get you to buy extras from the gift shop or photo package.
