There's more to Granada than the Alhambra, and that's what this tour is all about. You'll visit the Palace of Charles V and explore the Moorish-era Albaicin district. And you'll also get the chance to search for souvenirs in the Alcaiceria bazaar before visiting the Royal Chapel.First up is the Renaissance Palace of Charles V, which is in the Alhambra complex, but was built 35 years after the fall of the Emirate. Stroll around its colonnaded courtyard before heading to the Albaicin, on the hill on the opposite bank of the River Darro. Its winding streets of traditional Moorish homes often offer amazing vistas of the Alhambra.Next, amble through the Arabesque Alcaiceria, where you can grab Moorish-style trinkets such as pashminas, lanterns and earthenware. Rounding off the day is a visit to the Royal Chapel, the mausoleum of the Catholic Kings, Ferdinand and Isabella, who conquered Granada from the Moors. Behind its Gothic façade, lies a wealth of treasures.

Besonders der Guide José hat uns sehr gefallen. Er spricht sehr gut deutsch, hat ausführlich berichtet und auch alle Fragen beantwortet. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis, um Granada ein erstes Mal kennenzulernen.

The guide we had Max Grouger was awful, he was extremely disorganised and left us hanging around for ages when we first got there. He seemed totally uninterested in talking to us and spent the whole time staring at his phone. We barely had any information and we had to keep asking him if he was going to talk. Granada itself seemed nice but Max really spoilt this trip. I have done many trips with TUI which have all been great previously but sadly not this time.

Unser Tourguide ist mit uns nach der Alhambra und der Stadtbesichtigung ( bis dahin war alles Super) Zum Tapas essen gegangen.War nicht gut. Es war so weit weg von der Innenstadt,da hätten wir kaum mehr Zeit zum Bummeln und mussten nachher noch ne halbe Stunde bis zum Bus laufen.Das war echt mega anstrengend.Unter der Busfahrt wurde gar nichts erklärt,was wir rechts und links der Autobahn sahen. Kein Ton. Eigentlich lag es nur am Reiseleiter,er war sehr bequem. Die Frau hat die Alhambra toll erk

Der Reise leiter war nicht in der Lage deutsche groupe zu führen und aussreixhliche info zu übermitteln. Die Stadt Führern war sehr kompetent und wissensreich. Besonders die uns im granada durch die Stadt geführt hat. Ich bin selber Reise Führer von Deutschland nach Marokko. Fals sie eine Reiseführer, Group Begleiter von Deutschland nach Marokko. Und von Deutschland nach andaluzien gerne. Sie können mich kontaktieren.

We covered quite a lot of ground, walking around Granada & the guide was informative. We walked around the sides of the Alahambra area but it would have been good to see inside, There doesn’t appear to be an organised trip to go inside it

Der Transfer hat gut geklappt. Der begleitende Guide hat ein wenig erzählt. Diese aus deutsche Tour zu verkaufen, empfinde ich aus schwierig. Der lokale Guide in Granada hat es dann wieder raus gerissen. Sowohl auf deutsch und englisch hat er vieles erzählt und war in beiden Sprachen sehr sicher. Die Infos rund um die Alhambra (in den öffentlichen Bereichen) waren gut. Er war auch sehr auf die Sicherheit bedacht und hat auf Unebenheiten und Stufen hingewiesen. Vielen Dank noch mal an José!

Il est dommage que la visite ne soit pas proposée en français dans un pays comme l'Espagne. Nous n'avons donc pas su tout comprendre de la visite et ceux-ci est fort dommage étant donné que le site avait l'air tout de même fort intéressant et il est également fort dommage que la cathédrale ne soit pas comprise dedans. Sinon c'est une très belle ville malgré tout et qui reste agréable à visiter.

Al Hambra gezien, maar wat we gezien hebben was nieto direct indrukwekkend. Lange tour teveel door de stad. Kapel was erg mooi. Zelf kathedraal bezocht. Fantastisch!!! Gids in AH was goed!!

The whole day was a shambles. We, (4 adults that travelled on holiday together), made the complaint on our return to the hotel, as did other groups on the same trip. We are still waiting for further explanation as to why the day didn't go as it should have. However, we haven't received any communication as yet. The only thing we were told before we left the hotel to return home was the manager had offered a refund of £20, which is an insult. If we don't hear from Tui, we will take this further

The bus was 15 mins late on pick up, and 45 mins late on return pick up. Whilst waiting, we were in full sun with no communication to the group about the delay. This had a knock on impact to our evening meal plans. We were given audio sets, no guide to take us round Al Hama, as outlined in the itinerary for the day. Without the guide, we were unable to understand what we saw in the Church and Museum, so a waste of our time and money, There is much more to say, a formal complaint will follow.

Guide was not good,and the guid to the Alhambra palace did not turn up. We were given a quick talk and were pointed out a few places of interest, then the bus guide walked off informing the group to be ready in 90 mins . The walk down to the town was all down hill and hard for some elderly,The bus guide told the group that she would get some maps of the city and ring some places of interest!!! We picked our map up and one place was rung that was the meeting point back and time!!!So we were left

De lokale gids liet het afweten. Terug liet de bus een uur op zich wachten. Tui zou eigenlijk het geld moeten terugstorten. De tussenstop voor een plaspauze was niet goed. Maar twee wc waarvan die van de heren heel lang bezet was.

Viel zu teuer 194 Euro für 2 Personen eine Frechheit. Es stand kein Guide zur Verfügung und wir wurden überall nur abgestellt und irgendwann abgeholt. Eir würden keine Tour mehr buchen und erwarten eine Entschädigung.

Der Ausflug war soweit gut. Der Guide im Bus hatte vielleicht etwas mehr noch erzählen können. Der Guide vor Ort, José, war sehr informativ, hat alles gut erklärt. Einen besseren Geschichtsunterricht haette man nicht bekommen können. Wir hätten uns noch einen geführten Rundgang durch die Kathedrale gewünscht.

Unser Reiseführerin Barbara, eine etwas ältere Dame hat während der gesamten Reise ausführliche Erläuterungen zu der Reise und dem historischen Hintergrund und weit darüber hinaus gegeben. Ebenso waren Erläuterungen zur Landschaft, Wirtschaft und örtlichen Gegebenheiten ein Teil ihrer Auskünfte. Der Anteil an der zur freien Verfügung stehenden Zeit war der Reise angemessen und vollkommen ausreichend.

Guter Fahrer und kompetente Reiseleitung. Man sollte einigermaßen gut zu Fuß sein, da doch viel Strecke zurück gelegt werden muss. Die Reiseleitung hatte aber auch alternative Möglichkeiten mit Bus oder Taxi vorgeschlagen.

Schöner Ausflug, um einen Überblick über die Stadtteile von Granada und die Alhambra zu bekommen. Reiseleitung war sehr gut, viele Informationen zur Stadt von heute und früher. Man muss viel laufen, d.h. für Gehbehinderte ist der Ausflug nicht geeignet. Wir wären gerne noch etwas länger unter Leitung der Reiseführerin durch die Stadt gegangen. Über 3 Std. zur freien Verfügung war für uns zu viel. Aber das ist Jammern auf hohen Niveau…

Could have had an hour longer and a bit longer in the Alhambra. Had an hour longer on your trip to Ronda. Why did we leave so early? Expensive for what you got. Why can’t you organise tours into Palaces and gardens? Why don’t you do transport only if people want to organise Palace tours on their own? Disappointed we couldn’t see at least one palace and gardens.

es waren viele Urlauber aus UK dort. Diese zahlen in UK nur ca. 2/3 des Preises für die gleiche Leistung wie wir hier in Deutschland. Das ist verbesserungsfähig. Ansonsten sehr, sehr guter Service. Essen Top. Absolut empfehlenswert.

An interesting trip but basically it's just a walk around the outside of the Alhambra and then a meandering stroll thru the town of Granada. So in conclusion, whilst the guide was very informative, you should consider this trip as just an introduction to Granada and Alhambra. A more in depth look to both would take a further day or two.

Our local guide was very good but having to explain everything in two languages meant long stays at each stop. We did not see the most interesting parts of the Alhambra, the Moorish areas. The Royal Palace is not very interesting. The tour of the Royal burial chapel was not as interesting as the Cathedral which we visited independently after the tour ended.

Die Bus Tour war sehr nett. Die Führung durch die Alhambra von Jose war sehr gut, aber leider haben wir nicht viel Zeit gehabt uns alles in Ruhe anzuschauen. Außerdem fehlten uns die Gärten der Alhambra. Aber wir waren froh, dass wir die Alhambra noch besichtigen konnten. Übers Internet haben wir keine Tickets mehr bekommen ??. Die Führung in Granada war kurz und knackig. Jose hat das wirklich sehr gut gemacht.

Die Tour an sich war sehr schön, der Guide vor Ort war super, ein wandelndes Lexikon. Seine Geschichten waren sehr interessant und spannend erzählt. Der Busfahrer war super und hat den nicht besonders vertrauenswürdigen Bus gut hin und zurück gebracht. Die Mikrofonanlage im Bus funktionierte schlecht bis gar nicht.

Prijs verhouding. Niet alles gezien. Keizerlijk paleis. Ook geen rondleiding erom heen. Liever smalle straatjes al daar overgeslagen en wel rondleiding of ingang keizerlijk paleis. De begeleiding was top. Ze legde alles goed uit en reageerde adequaat als je aangaf dat er "vreemde gasten" aan slotenten bij een groep die er niet bij horen en die spullen vervreemden.

The TUI rep was a little misleading by saying that the tour did not include the Alhambra which is “sold out months in advance” Only when on the coach were we told that we would be visiting the Alhambra citadel, it was the Palace and gardens that are sold out. As a result we saw a lot and experienced the atmosphere of this historic site. The rep’s comments would put off a lot of potential visitors. We felt that this should be clarified

The trips in general are on the pricey side but they are very good. The guide was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and worked very hard to make our trip exciting. She gave very clear instructions about meeting points and places to visit in our free time.

J'ai beaucoup aimé la prestation de la guide Carmen. Elle est très professionnelle, à l'écoute et intéressante. Je déplore de n'avoir pas pu visiter le palais de l'Alhambra de l'intérieur car aucun billet n'était disponible pour notre groupe. Pour le retour, le car était garé très loin du point de rencontre. J'étais déjà fatiguée et cette marche interminable vers l'arrêt du car m'a épuisée.

Gut organisierte Tour. Reiseleiterin Carmen hat uns vom Hotel abgeholt und uns gut über die Tour und Andalusien informiert. In Albraham haben wir einen dt. sprachigen Guide bekommen, weil Carmen die englische Gruppe geführt hat. 1 Stunde Führung in der Albraham mit viel Info. Dann geht’s zu Fuß in die Stadt Granada. Viel Infos gibt’s bei der Tour. Zum Abschluss Besuch der Grabstätte. Dann 3 Stunden zur freien Verfügung. Unbedingt die Kathedrale besuchen. Diese ist sehr beeindruckend !

The tour was a long walk and could be broken up with a short respite. Also the free time could be reduced to an hour and a half. Everyone in our group were recuperating on the coach journey back. The tour itself was very worthwhile and extremely informative- just a bit tiring.

Granada was a nice city to visit . Had misunderstood that there was only limited time at the Alhambra complex and it was 2/3 of the guide time spent on a Granada city walking tour.Had expected to see the Alcazaba part of the complex and the Good Life garden area. Guide was very knowledgable ,bus driver was fine but his bus had seen better days ....struggling up motorway inclines in the region ! Not sure that it was a value for money experience , however.

Der Tagesausflug war im gesamten gut. Die Reiseleiterin Carmen erzählte gekonnt in gutem Deutsch von den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Wir vermissten hingegen, dass der Besuch der Palastgärten, das eigentliche Prunkstück von Granada, nicht mehr möglich war.

Schade ist nur, dass man gar nicht auf die Ruine im Alhambra rein kommt. Da müsste wenigstens dieses Ticket mit drin sein, damit man die Aussicht über Grenada hat. Aber sa könnt ihr ja nichts dafür. Carmen hat uns erzählt wie schwer es ist, an karten zu kommen

Prima tour. Alles goed geregeld. Reisleidster Carmen gaf heel goede info. En op locatie is de groep gesplitst. Ook daar een goede reisleidster. ‘s morgens veel mooie plekken en smidddags 3 uur voor jezelf dus prima balans. Blij mee. En zeer aan te raden

Ik vond het spijtig bij de uitstap naar Granada het Alhambra niet bezocht werd. Het bezoek aan de stad Granada vond ik wel leuk. Wat ik ook minder vond de gids enkel Engels en Duits sprak en geen Nederlands.

Wir sind davon ausgegangen, dass wir viel mehr Zeit in der Alhambra verbringen können. Dies war der Hauptgrund, diese Tour zu buchen. Deshalb waren wir sehr enttäuscht darüber, dass die Zeit dort viel zu kurz war. Deshalb folgender Verbesserungsvorschlag: Instruieren Sie Ihre Mitarbeiter vor Ort bitte, dass den Kunden VOR Buchung dieses Tour ganz klar mitgeteilt wird, dass die Verweildauer in der Alhambra nur ca. 1 Std. dauert. Wünschenswert wäre auch, ein Ausflug NUR Alhambra inkl. Eintritt.

Mit Organisation und Abholung hat es gut geklappt. Der Reiseleiter im Bus konnte kaum Deutsch sprechen. Der Reiseleiter vor Ort hat eine interessante und informative Führung von Alhambra bis zur Altstadt in Granada in ruhigem Tempo mit Pausen gemacht. Man muss nicht vergessen, dass es KEINE Alhambratour war- einige waren enttäuscht. Aber wir haben einige freizugängliche Bereiche in Alhambra besucht. Danach hatte man noch genug Zeit um Granada-Zentrum zu genießen.

Visite de Grenade très joli et intéressant. Nous avions une guide espagnole très dynamique. Par contre après 3h de temps libre était beaucoup ********** long car il fait très chaud sauf pour les personnes qui voulaient se faire un restaurant.

Well organised and guide excellent. It’s a long day in 40+ degree heat but nonetheless enjoyable- Granada is a beautiful city. Not a trip for those with mobility issues though

Granada is a beautiful, vibrant city. Alhambra Palace is full of historical interest. It's a shame that entry into the Palace is restricted and you are required to book weeks/months in advance. A little disappointed that the coach was unable to pick us up where we were dropped off and that it was a 15 minute walk to the pick up point.

Wir waren hauptsächlich an einem Ausflug interessiert für die Alhambra.... Uns wurde der Ausflug schmackhaft gemacht einen großen Teil der Alhambra besichtigen zu können. Leider waren ja nur die Außenmauern und ein ganz kleiner Teil davon zu sehen....und der restliche Tag von Granada und der Besuch des Museums/Kirche war interessant aber nicht das Geld wert !!! Die restliche Freizeit von fast 3 Stunden in der Innenstadt zur Mittagszeit war schlecht zu nützen da viele Geschäfte Mittagspause haben

Guide very knowledgable but had a lot to say in both English and German. Became tiresome. Often his strong accent meant we couldn't understand him for much of the time. Seems a long trip without entry to Alhambra! Not great value.

Wenig Zeit zum Erkunden und vielleicht auch erwähnen wo genau in der Stadt sehr schöne Sehenswürdigkeiten sich genau befinden, evtl eine Stadtkarte geben. Sonst alles sehr super und toll erklärt.
