Definitely worthwhile having a guide to answer questions and provide information about this magnificent monument, the only downside was a slight delay on entry due to some Republic day preparations.

You can not visit Rome without visiting the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. However, we would not recommend the guided tour. We did not get value for money and the audio quality was poor. The tour was too short with little time spent in the Colosseum, the whole tour was rushed. We ended-up going back a second day purchasing our own ticket with little to no queuing and the ticket allowed multiple entries in a 24 Hr period. The guide however, was very knowledgeable and welcoming

The only issue we had was finding the meeting point as it wasn't visible from the Colosseum. We also were not sure of the name of the company who were providing the tour so when they asked if we were booked with Walks we didn't know the answer. Luckily they had our names. The tour itself was really good and made even better by our amazing guide. She was really knowledgeable and able to answer every question.

Wir hatten die Tour in Englisch, unsere Mittouristen waren aus USA, GB, Australien, Südafrika. Unsere Gruppe hatte 25 Teilnehmer, der Andrang war hoch, die Führung trotzdem entspannt. Über den Kopfhörer war unser Guide gut verständlich. Die Archäologin hat uns auf unterhaltsame Weise alles erklärt.

Ik vond het fijn dat de gids uitleg gaf en open stond voor vragen. Goede gids veel kennis. De locatie van waar je de gids moet vinden/ontmoeten was onduidelijk/bij het cafe is geen ruimte nu dus in het park naast het cafe . Gids draagt geen opvallend hesje of werkkleding daardoor is hij/zij niet goed te herkennen . En bij het opstappunt is het heel druk. Evenals het collosseum daar is het ook enorm druk daardoor overal moeilijk foto's te maken. Verder indrukwekkende dag/excursie .

I would say the tour itself was fantastic. My only complaint is that the meeting point specified by Musement was incorrect. Walks of Italy changed their meeting point to be above the metro stop, not in front of it.

We arrived 30 mins before tourtime at the kiosk outside metro B as asked. we stood and were drenched in the teeming rain until the actual meet time. When no guide could be found we started asking other guides and showed our vouchers NOBODY said they were our guide. We missed the tour. Thanks.

We had Selenia as our guide, and she was great. She was able to answer any questions the people in the group had asked her. The headsets were high quality with clear audio, which was a nice change from other tours we had been on. The Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum themselves are definitely worth a visit as there's nothing else like them in the world.
