Qué esperar
No hay nada más típico de Laponia que un paseo en trineo tradicional por un paisaje nevado de ensueño. Disfrutará de un paseo en trineo al estilo de Papá Noel tirado por renos entre escenas invernales, y se calentará los dedos al final con una bebida caliente de bayas y un aperitivo lapón sobre una hoguera.Súbase al trineo de Papá Noel y atraviese el mágico país de las maravillas invernal que es Laponia. Durante el paseo, se deslizará sin esfuerzo por lagos helados y bosques cubiertos de nieve en polvo, y verá cómo los renos le arrastran mientras navegan por la tierra.Los renos te llevarán a un campamento donde habrá una hoguera encendida y bebidas calientes de bayas listas para servir. Entre en calor y deguste un tentempié lapón, saboreando esta experiencia típica de Laponia. Pero antes de irte, hay una última cosa: podrás familiarizarte con las nociones básicas del pastoreo de renos.

Other people have said that they have fed Reindeer "chocolate". We didn't really get to spend anytime with the Reindeer. The walk was lovely but so dark. Couldn't see anything. The talk from the Samai lady afterwards was very interesting. Loved this bit.

Great experience, and great information from the Finnish lady after the ride. Staff very well informed and have a genuine care for what they do. As for value for money , I feel that ALL experiences are a little overpriced but as these events are mostly one off experiences, there is a "bite the bullet and pay the price" approach by everyone

The Sami guide was very informative. We learnt lots about Sami life, Sami culture and reindeers. The reindeer safari was was in a beautiful setting and was very magical.

The whole experience was magical. This was our first time. I expect if you have done this before or have been somewhere like this before then you may not feel the same. It was quite slow, we expected it to be a bit faster. We were given a blanket which was good as it would have been quite cold otherwise as were just sat still. Overall, we really enjoyed it.

The experience was delightful and informative with the very friendly Glitter the Elf, bus drivers & incredible hosts at the Reindeer Safari. We really enjoyed learning about the Sámi culture, traditions as well as how the Reindeer live. The transfers were made so easy and they even went beyond by dropping my party at the Elf Adventure before driving everyone else back to their hotel. Very grateful & 100% recommend. Thank you Christmas cake Carol for organising :)

Safari itself was 30 mins in a loop through forest. Very peaceful and still dark outside. Not one for if you want some excitement

Very expensive as trips go and we were expecting a more upright sleigh than the low one on the trip. Although the trip was billed as 2 hours, only about half an hour was the ride itself. So overall, it was not quite what we expected.

It was amazing. The TUI reps were incredibly helpful and always up beat. The end of holiday panto was exceptional and credit to the team for getting stuck into their roles.

The overall experience was ok. For what it is, I would say it’s very overpriced You spend half the time in a hut talking about the reindeer and the other half in the sleigh You go round the forest for about half an hour but as it is dark you can’t see a lot If you can’t do all the experiences, do the husky or snowmobile tour they are far superior to this

The ride itself was amazing, especially in the dark. The cabin is pretty and the cake and drink was a nice suprise. As there were only two families in the cabin while we waited for the other group to swap with after they had finished the reindeer ride. It was a little awkward as when the guide finished speaking and wanted questions it was dead pan silence. It would have helped if the tui reps asked some questions to fill the silence.

Absolutely amazing time in saariselka. Provided with lots of information, reps were extremely helpful. Excursions a little on the expensive side but was absolutely fantastic, we did the reindeer excursion. Everything was well planned and ran smoothly. Airport very busy but was reassuring having the reps there untill we were all checked in. Would absolutely reccomend the trip we have done to others, for us we woudnt return as its a trip to santa we only plan on doing once. THANKS TUI it was absolutely magical.

This was so magical. The reindeer were quite cheeky and fun. The cost was a lot and really should be cheaper but overall was worth it.
