Imagine starting the day with a view of glittering blue water, then spending the next four hours learning to cook traditional Turkish recipes - that's exactly what awaits at Mel's Turkish Kitchen. With a small group of participants, this class feels personal, relaxed and genuinely local. You'll work with fresh, seasonal ingredients from the local market to prepare five classic dishes, from colourful mezes - the typical Turkish appetisers - to rich stuffed aubergine. Mel doesn't just show you recipes, she brings them to life. Between chopping and stirring, she'll share her family stories and map the flavours of Turkey's regions, helping you understand how each dish reflects its roots. It feels like being invited into a friend's kitchen, where cultural conversation flows as naturally as the cooking. When the kitchen work winds down, you'll gather around her table to enjoy every dish together. With hotel pick-up and drop-off taken care of, this immersive experience turns a half-day into flavours you'll bring home.
