Gocek is a typical coastal Turkish town known for its lively weekly market. After pick-up from your hotel, you'll set off on the scenic drive to Gocek while your guide sets the scene on what to expect. Once you arrive, they'll help you get your bearings, then it's time to immerse yourself in the market.It's a bustling atmosphere, with friendly locals welcoming tourists and families to enjoy the stalls, but it's not overwhelming like some markets can feel. You'll spend the morning browsing stalls piled high with aromatic spices and a myriad of local wares, like ceramics, scarfs and jewellery.There are plenty of stalls offering samples of their tasty treats, from fresh fruits to olives and cheese. Kids will be mesmerised by the vendors rolling out the dough and making gozleme – a Turkish savoury flatbread filled with a combo of cheese, meats, potatoes and spinach – make sure you grab a taste. . There's time to revel in the charm of this Turkish town and check out the palm-lined harbour before returning to base in the early afternoon.

Der Markt mit seiner Auswahl ist sehr schön. Man kann ihn mal gesehen haben aber frisches Obst zu kaufen im Urlaub eher nicht. Obwohl man schon sagen muss die Auswahl und Frische ist gut.

Gefallen hat uns der Ort selbst mit seiner sehr schönen Marina. Auch die angrenzenden Restaurants luden zum Verweilen ein, besonders abends, wenn eine ganz andere Atmosphäre herrscht statt morgens. Überhaupt nicht gefallen hat der Markt, weil er im Vergleich zu Fethiye vollkommen abfällt und die Zeit nicht lohnt, dort hinzugehen. Die Zeit der Ausführung dieses Ausflugs wäre zu überdenken. Wegen der Atmosphäre besser am späten Nachmittag. Auf das Abendessen würde ich gerne verzichten.

Erdogan war ein super Reiseführer, der viel erzählt hat und uns gut vorbereitet hat. Und Göcek war ganz bezaubernd. Wirklich zu empfehlen.

Der Reiseleiter bestach durch viel historisches, kulturelles Wissen und einen feinsinnigen Humor. Der Rundgang half bei der Orientierung. Alles war perfekt organisiert, man hatte genügend Zeit zum Bummeln.

Der Ausflug nach Göcek war super. Der Reiseleiter hat vorab über vieles informiert und hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Man hatte genügend Zeit sich den Markt und die Innenstadt anzuschauen. Diese Tour kann man sehr gut weiterempfehlen.

Kurzweiliger Ausflug zur kleinen Küstenstadt mit einem schönen Yachthafen. Beim Wochenmark ist man schnell durch. Qualität der dort angebotenen Produkte minderwertig. Interessant sind nur die zahlreichen Gewürze. Im Ort haben die meisten Geschäfte geschlossen am Sonntag. Schade. Sehr teuer ist es außerdem. Der Reiseführer war sehr freundlich und unterhaltsam mit interessanten Informationen. Damit sich die Reise wirklich lohnt, müsste eine Bootsfahrt oder eine kulturelle Location miteinander

Die Fahrt hinzu war interessanter als der Ort… unser Reiseleiter hat viele interessante Infos und Geschichten gewusst. Im Ort selber… ein paar Yachten… ein paar Geschäfte… ein kleiner Markt.

Bei der Ausflugsbeschreibung hatten wir einen großen Markt erwartet, es waren aber nur ein paar Klamottenhändler und ein kleiner Obst- Gemüsebereich vorhanden. Der war auch überschaubar aber interessant. Textilien kann man dagegen in Serigerme deutlich besser shoppen. Durch die frühe Ankunftszeit in Göcek waren im Hafenbereich noch viele Läden geschlossen (09:40 Uhr) Die Marinabereiche sind sehr sehenswert und es macht Spaß, dort entlang zu schlendern.

Gocek is a lovely place to visit for a few hours and not too far from Serigerme where we were staying and the tour was nice and short. We passed through Gocek a couple of years ago for a boat tour and said that we would return one day. We didn't go to the market (i've been to Turkish markets before) and instead visited the shops and had breakfast on the seafront whilst watching all the expensive yachts. Although the tour is in German the guide would tell us in English any important points.

We booked the tour via the app and selected a language of English. This confirmed on voucher sent the day before the tour. When the coach arrived, the guide said 'You know this tour is in German only'. We said it had been booked in English and she said she was freelance and had been hired to deliver in German. She did speak English. Spoke to rep, who said there wasn't the demand for English. Very poor, sharp practice Tui. You totally failed to deliver the tour booked without pre warning.
