Esta excursión combina dos de los tesoros nacionales de Costa Rica: la vida salvaje del río Tempisque y el ron. Navegará por el río, visitará la Hacienda el Viejo y terminará con una cata de ron en esta experiencia de un día completo.Tras llegar a la ecológica Hacienda el Viejo, iniciará la aventura con un paseo en barco por el río Tempisque. Observe fauna tan bien conservada como las rosas cuchara o la mítica cigüeña Jabirú, así como cocodrilos o monos capuchinos blancos.Después, pase el resto del día en un exclusivo tour del ron, en el que podrá recorrer la casa del almiar y degustar el ron añejo Sabandi de sus barricas de roble.

Poor
Too much driving, not enough sightseeing. Sales emphasis not enjoyed. Tour guide did not provide advance itinerary plan. Did not speak loud enough to make sure all passengers could hear him clearly.

Rum tour was very informative, the ability to create your own spiced rum to take away was excellent. The free shot glass was a nice little touch.

The tour was amazing, guide was excellent, we saw lots of wildlife crocodiles, howler monkeys, white face monkeys, birds etc ,rum tour was brilliant very informative loved the day

The trip down the river was very interesting and our guide was very informative. We made our own rum which we thought was great. Our only small point is we would have liked a little time in the souvenir shop but weren't really given the opportunity

I thought there should have been a bit more explanation about the day, maybe mention that the shop we saw wouldn’t be open after the rum tour or that we wouldn’t be stopping by the Hacienda at the end of the tour

The boat tour was excellent, saw lots of wildlife and tour guide was knowledgeable on the local area. The rum tour was interesting, the guide was very informative and enjoyed being able to flavour our own rums.

Best trip we have done by far. Both the boat and rum tour were great. Loads to see on the river and the rum tour was great too coming away with our own blended rum. Great stop before the river trip for the loo and drink

The tour was great however the information was very poor The trip does not start at 0730 as advertised!!!! But 1300 !!! Very annoying having got up a 6 am !!! Swim wear is NOT required I think you need to update your App also Monte Verde Hanging Bridges tour is also poorly advertised !!!!

This was an amazing day, not sure if it was better as it was just my family on the trip so we had a lot more attention and the boat to ourselves. The captain of the boat was brilliant and kept looking out for animals/birds that he could take us closer to see and the guide was very knowledgeable. The rum tasting was as brilliant and I learnt a lot on how it is made, the option to make your own flavour was really good. A great day but a little expensive for what was included.

The trip was brilliant our guide was very helpful and informative, the only negative was our transport back to the hotel the driver was in his phone reading messages and taking calls the weather was really bad and it was dark. This made myself and the rest of my group feel very uneasy

The river trip was great, guides were able to point out wildlife with ease. The rum estate was very interesting and you were able to blend your own bottle of rum and have name printed on the label. The guide there was very knowledgeable and passionate about the product.

The tour was expensive for what it was and the description on the tui website did not explain how long the travel was. There was also only one rum available to buy
