It's the sort of thing you'd see in James Bond movies – and now you can try your hand at it yourself here in Sal. The Seadoo Seascooter is a lighweight underwater propeller that allows you to explore coral and shoals of fish without expanding any energy. After pick-up at your hotel, you'll head to Santa Maria beach in the south of the island. Here, you'll receive a crash course in how to use this fancy bit of kit. Then, it's straight into the sea to get started. Like a little handheld jet-ski, all you do is grab on and you'll be propelled across the waves. It's just as effective underwater, so pack your goggles and you can coast along the coral reef without a pair of flippers in sight.You'll have about an hour to explore the world underneath the waves of Santa Maria Bay. Seadoo is a perfect way to nip about the corals and fish. It's a really cool sensation and an experience not to miss.

It got cancelled due to sea being rough. I received an email stating so and asking would we like ro rearrange to which I said yes. I have not received anything back and have sent another with again no reply! Is it possible to be refunded as a result. Regards Wayne Green

The description of the experience should reflect how dangerous this is. You are just put off Santa Maria pier where the water is very choppy, you are amongst boats and jet skis. Only extremely experienced swimmers should be allowed to purchase this.

Schlechte Sicht unter Wasser, zum einen Teil auch durch die Örtlichkeit direkt am Fischersteg wo die Boote fahren. Spärliche und nur englische Konversation. Guide hat wenig kommuniziert, sodass man sich im absolut trüben Wasser nicht ausreichend sicher fühlte

L’expérience est très agréable et ce qu’on peut y voir très beau. Le moniteur est vraiment, en plus d’être sympathique, très compétent. Il veille à notre sécurité et donne des consignes et conseils clairs et précis. De plus, il a pris la peine de tout m’expliquer en français. Merci à lui. Je conseille cette activité qui est unique en son genre.

The experience was amazing. The guides in attendance were both fantastic, made you feel at ease with using the equipment for the first time, very patient and helpful. Value for money wise, no complaints here, from the initial booking and doing the dives it was all perfect. Can't thank TUI and the guides enough, I'd do it again in a flash

It was really great fun! I got to ride the water and see some pretty cool fish. I recommend an advanced/strong simmer; being far from the beach can be difficult if you are not comfortable floating and swimming, especially if the equipment needs adjusting.

Really enjoyed seadoos it was a fun experience and able to see some fab marine life, including a sea snake and a huge stingray. Well worth it the guides were very friendly and looked after you.

The previous reviews had me nervous about getting used to the Seadoos, but it's SO simple and no time taken getting used to them. You use 2 triggers to use them, which gives your hands a little soreness, so I'd say if you had arthritis or hand pain then it's not for you. The rest of us were fine, it's minor. I got super nervous as I entered the water, but the guide calmed me and they give you so many options based on comfort level. I got brave and went out to the statue and I'm so glad I did!

Even though visibility wasn’t perfect we all enjoyed trying the seadoos. It took a bit of getting used to but our guides were v friendly & we had a good amount of time out at sea. The currents are strong here so you need to be a fairly good swimmer to do this.

De zeescooter was een mega gave en unieke ervaring. Jammer was wel dat de zee troebel was.. waardoor je weinig zag. Bij ons voor de deur zie ik een stuk meer (verschillende) vissen. Maar de begeleiding maakte er echt een feest van.

Bardzo fajne doswiadczenie - obsluga pomocna i z pasja - pokazala nam nie tylko stale punkty wycieczki, ale takze interesujace zwierzeta, które zaobserwowalismy podczas przeplywania. Polecam Pania Przewodnik i mam nadzieje, ze sezon zólwiowy sie uda! :)

This was fun and something different. The guides were amazing and stay with me the whole time. You can stay near the bay or venture out further as there is a statue to go and find, plenty of lovely fish to see. The Seadoos run out with no warning so you need to be able to swim back to sure if needed but if your near the guide they will swap over. I felt I needed more time to get confidence with holding the Seadoo but once steady it was good fun. I would still recommend you are a good swimmer.

Die Leute waren pünktlich, sehr nett und die Erfahrung hat Spaß gemacht. Leider hieß es, 2-4h seien geplant, obwohl das seadoo maximal 45min herhält…. Das könnte man bei der Beschreibung anpassen, da knappe 50€ pro Person nicht gerade billig sind für die Zeit

Da die Wellen an unserem Seado-Tag sehr wild waren ..wurde der Sand stark aufgewirbelt und es war kaum was zu sehen...wir haben dann auch vorzeitig abgebrochen weil ich ständig Salzwasser in meine Maske bekommen habe...leider nur mittelmäßig zu bewerten....der Guide war gut.

Ein wow - super Team und dann noch das Erlebnis mit Schildkröten in der offenen Bucht zu schwimmen ( auf ca 6 m Distanz)
