Pompeya y el Vesubio son la Bella y la Bestia de la Costa Amalfitana. En esta excursión por paisajes épicos, explorará el fascinante e inquietante yacimiento arqueológico de Pompeya antes de ir al cráter del volcán. Una excursión de un día repleta de historia y naturaleza.En primer lugar, su guía le conducirá por las calles de Pompeya. Sepultada bajo las cenizas volcánicas de la erupción del Vesubio en el año 79 d.C., ha sido rescatada por la Madre Naturaleza y hoy es Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Descubra las villas ricamente decoradas de la nobleza romana -todavía pueden verse frescos en las paredes-, así como espacios públicos como el Foro, el Anfiteatro y los barracones de los gladiadores.Luego, por la tarde, conocerá el Monte Vesubio, artífice de la destrucción de Pompeya. Un guía le acompañará por carretera hasta los 1.000 metros de altitud y le permitirá contemplar las vistas de la bahía de Nápoles, siempre que la visibilidad lo permita. A la vuelta, visita a una fábrica de camafeos y corales.

En Pompeya no se pueden llevar bolsas de más de 30x30x15 cm. Hay un guardarropa gratuito donde se pueden dejar las pertenencias.
Las recogidas en Praiano y Positano están incluidas, sin embargo, debido a una restricción del tráfico en un solo sentido, la devolución será en Amalfi.

Excellent trip to Pompeii & Mountain Vesuvius very knowledgeable guide. Easy transfer everything was explain well to us. It would have been nice to have had longer at Mount Vesuvius & not go to the Cameo factory.

Pompeii was great but wish we had longer there to see more- 2 hrs 20 mins just not enough- we got taken to a restaurant after where lunch was 18 euros- I don't do big lunches so just sat waiting for others for an hr- wish we just got free time to go to cafes in Pompeii then could have had an extra hr there- And then the random coral place on way back was awful- nothing to do with the trip and jewelery was over 200euros- more wasted time

I wasn’t impressed by the fact that we were dragged to a cameo museum which was so expensive and had no value to the tour when we were all tired. Lunch wasn’t great either as no real choice . And my daughter got into pompeii for free so felt a little annoyed she didn’t get a bigger discount on trip.

Alessandra was very knowledgeable and passionate, she shared interesting information and I wouldn't have got as much out of the trip without her. Being able to combine Pompeii and Vesuvius was great for me. I was disappointed that the TUI app offered a 10% discount that is not available via my rep. If booking through the app you can't get picked up at tte hotel so its pointless

Loved the whole experience and our guide Alessandra was brilliant and so full of interesting facts and knowledge about Pompeii which is an amazing place. Can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

I think the cost was expensive. The entry fees weren't that much. So someone is making a lot of profit. Unfortunately Vesuvius was very cloudy so no views, the walk to the cones very strenuous and underwhelming. The visit to the cameo shop was interesting but the items very costly. Lucia is an excellent guide. She told us we had managed to see everything in Pompeii due to an early start and lack of crowds.

Given the option when booking for pick up from hotel. This was not the case. Pick up was from a bus stop in nearest town. Had to pay extra to get to bus stop. Same for return journey. Very very poor. Felt totally deceived. Will never ever book again for any trip you offer.

Alessandra is such a lovely, interesting guide, I learned a lot and found it very enjoyable. Take care if you're hiking Vesuvius during the high summer, it's quite risky for heatstroke.

The only issue was that whilst I was collected from my hotel to start the tour I was dropped off at the end in Amalfi Town, 3 miles from my hotel. I had to pay for a taxi to complete the journey. This was not made clear on the booking. The tour operator had no concern or solution except to take a taxi costing 15 euros

Excellent guide (Alessandra), very well informed and gave us lots of interesting facts throughout the whole trip. Also we had a special request (to see the house of Caecilius) which she showed us. The casts of the victims were very thought provoking and sobering. The driver Claudio was also very safe and professional.

The whole day was wonderful, and incredibly interesting. We were particularly grateful to have a very experienced guide with a real depth of knowledge about Vesuvius and particularly Pompeii. The only potential issues were that we were not told by Tui when we booked that under 18s need proof of ID of their age for Pompeii. Luckily one of my sons (17) had a picture of his passport on his phone, and they let my younger one through. Also the restaurant prefers cash over card.

Brilliant and informative tour guide and skilled coach driver. Downside was the weather, which meant we couldn’t go up Mount Vesuvius, and also eventually closed Pompeii for the day. That turned a full day trip into a half day trip. We didn’t receive any money back though, even though we didn’t actually experience the full trip as booked

Very experienced bus driver to navigate the bendy and narrow Amalfi coast roads. Our tour guide Paula was fantastic and allowed us to have a very immersive trip in Pompeii - sharing lots of interesting facts and information with our group. We would definitely recommend this trip to others.

The guide was very clear and knowledgable. It was a very hot day and was very busy but it was very interesting. She selected interesting bits to see as there was not enough time to really explore. What we saw was enough. The climb to the top of Vesuvius was hot and not really worth the effort although the view of the Bay of Naples from the top was stunning
