Volg de sporen van de familie Trapp, wereldberoemd door de film "The Sound of Music" van Rodgers en Hammerstein die in 1959 in première ging, en ontdek de originele filmlocaties. De eerste stop van de tour is de Mirabelltuin, waar het lied "Do-Re-Mi" werd gefilmd. Daarna reist u verder naar Slot Leopoldskron, waar u kunt genieten van het spectaculaire uitzicht op de Leopoldsmeer. In de tuinen van Slot Hellbrunn kunt u het prieel bezoeken, dat speciaal voor filmliefhebbers is herbouwd. Uw volgende stop is de Nonnberger Abdij, die tegenwoordig ook een actief vrouwenklooster is. Omdat de abdij binnen de muren geen bezichtigingen toestaat, kunt u via de voorpoort van de gotische kerk naar boven lopen. Vervolgens gaat u naar het merengebied met een fantastisch uitzicht en fotomomenten. Bij de Mondsee kunt u de beroemde kerk zien, waar de bruiloftsscène werd gefilmd. Daarna heeft u nog wat tijd om het pittoreske stadje op eigen gelegenheid te verkennen voordat de bus u terugbrengt naar Salzburg.

My wife was keen to do the experience whilst we were in Salzburg for a few days so I booked the tour for us both. I have to say it was a bit of fun and the whole experience was informative as there were many stops and our guide Jose got everyone involved in a most entertaining and personable manner.

Only negative was that we had to queue for a boarding pass despite having booked online and having the QR code. There was no information that this was required and we only found out when trying to board the bus. There was a large queue for people who had just turned up. So system needs structured and communicated better. Otherwise a wonderful tour. Allowed appropriate time in each venue. Loved the history and comparisons between the film and the actual family.

What an amazing afternoon! An experience we will never forget & everything we hoped it would be! We saw the sights, learnt facts about the movie & the true Von Trapp family. Our amazing guide, Kylie, kept us entertained & informed- a natural who made us all feel special.Truly a wonderful few hours!

Our guide Simon was fabulous! Very entertaining and knowledgeable. It was so good to visit all the places from the film and to learn all about them. Highly recommend this tour for anyone, not just Sound of Music fans x

Tour was excellent. Guide, April, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable regarding Sound of Music. Also was great getting out and about and appreciating surrounding countryside, lakes and mountains

Excellent
Peter was an amazing tour guide and Evo was an excellent driver; they made a very good team! We sang, saw all the beautiful sights, and learned about the family-the movie vs reality. I highly recommend the Sound of Music tour. I would book another tour with them again.
