Embarcará en una excursión a pie por Nessebar, declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, y visitará una de las bodegas mejor valoradas del Mar Negro para hacer una cata de vinos. Elena, una de nuestras expertas guías locales, afirma: "Durante mil años, la iglesia de Santa Sofía fue uno de los lugares religiosos más importantes de la región del Mar Negro. Se construyó en el siglo V y es una de las iglesias más antiguas del mundo".Todo comienza con una visita guiada a pie por el casco antiguo de Nessebar. Esta parte antigua de la ciudad, encajonada en una estrecha península que se adentra en el Mar Negro, posee tal riqueza de artefactos que ha sido declarada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. Hay tantas capas de historia aquí que los arqueólogos han tenido que estudiar los restos submarinos de la ciudad para comprender su historia. Descubrieron que primero la poblaron los tracios y después griegos, romanos y otomanos.Pasee por sus sinuosas calles bordeadas de viejas casas de madera entre una docena de iglesias históricas, la más antigua de las cuales data de hace 1.500 años. Cuando termine la visita, dispondrá de tiempo libre para explorar la ciudad por su cuenta. La experiencia se completa con una visita a la bodega DiVes Estate Winery, donde podrá degustar un trío de los mejores vinos búlgaros en plena naturaleza. El vino rosado es uno de los más destacados. Es el resultado de una variedad de uva local búlgara conocida como Pamid, que crece junto al mar y produce un vino lleno de sabores sutiles y frescos".

Excursion was excellent but the directions for the pick up poi t and the customers services to find out more about the pick up point was extremely poor. The only saving grace was Muhammad who saved the day for us

The tour was the town was very informative. We liked getting to explore it on our own too. The wine tasting was a bit disappointing. We thought we would get more varieties to try rather than just a white, rose and red.

Nessebar is a must see town. We all loved it! Our guide was well informed and surprised us with a stop for delish tea and later Bulgarian yughurt desert. I wish the trip started at 12pm (not 2pm) so there was a bit more time as Nessebar. Other than that 5*. Thanks!

We expected to have a tour of the place where the wine was actually made looking at the pictures of the trip before we booked.It was more of a wine tasting of 3 glasses of wine.We would have liked more free time we only had about 40mins wasn't enough to look around it was rushed

The English guide was superb. Friendly and informative. Beautiful sites and excellent points of interest. This was not a small tour. It was a large coach full of people. Split into non English speaking and english speaking. Still excellent though

Our guide was extremely good, she had all the historical facts in her head and was very entertaining. Needed a little more time at the village but will probably go back. The vineyard tour was also very good, it would be helpful if the cost of carriage of small orders were available.

Excellent local knowledge, just the right walking pace and enough time to get some souvenirs. The wine tasting was excellent, with good pointers as to what you could taste in the wines as well as a history of the vineyard.
