Si hay una forma de viajar por Laponia, tiene que ser en husky. Y este paseo en trineo tirado por huskies le llevará a través de las tierras nevadas mientras marca en su lista de deseos una experiencia inolvidable.En primer lugar, se unirá a un equipo de elfos que le llevarán a un campamento de huskies donde podrá reunirse alrededor del fuego y escuchar algunas historias. Aprenderá todo lo que hay que saber sobre estos extraordinarios y esforzados perros del Ártico mientras se acurruca junto a las brasas.A continuación, subirá al trineo y tomará las riendas para disfrutar de un emocionante paseo. Se permite un máximo de tres pasajeros, a menos que realice la excursión en Rovaniemi, donde subirá a un gran trineo conducido por un profesional. Contemple las escenas nevadas de Laponia y empápese de la experiencia.

El paseo en husky dura aproximadamente 25 minutos
Los niños menores de dos años no pueden participar en los safaris en moto de nieve, con renos o con huskies.
Los niños viajan con sus padres en un trineo (máx. 2 adultos y 2 niños por trineo). Cuando se comparte el trineo de huskys en el safari, uno está de pie detrás del trineo como controlador/conductor y el otro está sentado en el trineo como pasajero. Por razones de seguridad no se cambian los conductores durante este safari diseñado para familias cuando hay niños en el trineo.
Todas las excursiones opcionales a Laponia están programadas para complementar su estancia de 3, 4, 5, 6 ó 7 noches en Laponia. Le confirmaremos el horario más adecuado para la excursión elegida a su llegada a Laponia.

This was a magical experience and a really must do activity for any visit to Lapland in my opinion. The guide was lovely, we met the dogs had some berry juice before embarking on our sleigh tour. The fact one of your party can 'drive' the sleigh was an added bonus. It was truly memorable experience. It is expensive but worth it for memories that will last a lifetime. Felt a little bit rushed in parts, you should remember that we have paid good money for this so allow us the time we need.

the 2 hour experience includes 30 mins travel each way then 30 mins sat in a hut learning about the center and the dogs then 30 mins doing the experience its self with the dogs

Excellent
The time spent with the dogs is only about half an hour so it is very expensive for such a short time but an amazing experience that I can recommend. The berry juice by the fire afterwards is nice to warm up as my husbands eyelashes had frozen haha. The talk about the dogs afterwards is really interesting.

Not a cheap experience but such a once in a lifetime experience that we thought it was well worth it. Would be worth telling people before they book that they will have to drive the sleigh! No problem for us but others might struggle

Maybe set off in smaller groups. We were sleigh 2 of 5 & we had to keep stopping for those behind to catch up. We would just get going then stop. Also the guide should tell anyone carrying a bag to remove it. I drove the sled & still had my backpack on which made the parts when I had to push even harder. I think you could make clearer how physical it is & advise to take off bags. Last thing - the price! For less than 2 hours door to door it crazy price! Other than this it was fantastic :-(

We loved the experience & felt everything was explained very well. The only downside was that we spent longer after the huskie experience hearing about the dogs (Q&A) than we did with the huskies & doing the ride. A longer ride would have been better value, it was only 3 km & we believe 5km would be better value for the money paid.

Everything was incredible from start to finish. TUI ran the whole experience like clockwork. Our guide Alex was brilliant. The actual Husky safari run was amazing, one of the best experiences I’ve had as an adult or a child. Everyone loved it, both parents and the kids.

Absolutely amazing experience but the price was very steep. It wasn’t clear when booking that we were to actually drive the huskies which although an amazing experience I wasn’t too happy about my young children being in the sleigh with a never before driver. Ours tipped over and the children fell out the sleigh, luckily no serious injuries and the staff were incredibly helpful I just wish descriptions would have been more detailed.
