If there's one way to travel in Lapland, then it has to be by husky. And this husky sleigh ride takes you through the snow-capped lands while you tick off a bucket list experience.First of all, you'll join a team of elves who will take you to a husky camp where it's time to gather round the open fire and listen to some tales. You'll learn all there is to know about these remarkable, hard-working Arctic dogs as you keep cosy round the embers.Then, you'll climb aboard the sleigh and take the reins ready for an exciting ride – a maximum of three passengers is allowed unless you're taking the tour in Rovaniemi where instead you'll hop aboard a big sleigh driven by a professional. Watch as Lapland's snowy scenes pass you by and soak up the experience.

The actual experience was good and the people running it were great however the transfers were ridiculous. We got picked up from our hotel but dropped off back to another one and told to make our own way back on the gondola (which when we go to, found out it shut 2 hours before we were dropped off) so had to pay nearly £30 for a taxi to get back to the hotel after paying over £500 for an experience which was supposed to include transport to and from our hotel.

Amazing experience. The huskies were so much fun! Staff so knowledgeable about them - you can tell they are well looked after. Lovely and helpful staff, just the best experience we had!

The excursion host were lovely and told us lots of history about the dogs and how they cared for them. The excursion felt quite busy and even though we split up into two groups the first group of us had around 5 sleds and dogs following a lead snowmobile and we felt we were constantly touching the break and slowing down to keep distance. Probably a good thing though as the huskies were so fast!

The staff genuinely love the dogs this is evident from how they talk about them and how they are with them. All staff knowledgeable and friendly and gave great information on the animals and gave people an opportunity to ask questions.

So much fun on the husky ride, with the adventure of being able to drive the sledge my husband was in his element. Definitely worth doing when in lapland and absolute must for anyone.

Everything about this holiday has been AMAZING - we are long standing TUI customers but this is our first time in Levi / going on a winter holiday with TUI. The Elf reps were fantastic - never ceasing in their role to provide a truly magical experience for the children and the adults. TUI staff thank you soooo much we really needed this holiday. Martin the husky owner, explained everything clearly before we started. It took a little while for those who were driving to get used to steering but the scenery and experience were amazing. The talk after was informative and we appreciated the hot drink and biscuit. It was lovely being able to stroke the dogs after and talk to the handlers to get more information about the dogs etc. Would definitely recommend this one in a lifetime experience.

Great experience, however would have been good to have a bit of practice time before starting the main experience (ie practice with sledge and huskies to get used to how to control). TUI booking /changes were poor, we booked online in advance to ensure tied in with other arranged activities, however only upon asking another question about the trip we’re we advised this one had also changed. Whilst understand this may happen, both when booking and then after better communications advising of changes would be massively beneficial. As a result of this we had to cancel another activity not booked via TUI and lost a deposit.
