The Guide was good. However, more time is needed in Simeone. 1 hour is not enough....2 hours more apprpriate, especially if you've taken the option of the boat ride around the peninsula. Then on to Limone. A 2hr coach trip normally, but the traffic lights on the narrower tunnel were not working. What a disaster,we spent nearly 2 whole hours stuck, stationary, just in the tunnel. Passengers where elderly, who could've been diabetic, dehydrated or thirsty.No water was offered. A rethink is needed!

The coach arrived on time with a very knowledgeable and friendly TUI rep. There was a slight delay due to an oncoming bus in one of the tunnels which was dealt with extremely well, changing our schedule very slightly. We found this experience excellent in that we were able to see many places in one day which for people who have never been to the area before proved to be very interesting. I must also add that all of the staff we came in contact with were extremely knowledgeable and approachable.

The first part of the tour in the morning to Simone was excellent really enjoyed it then after that it was down hill we was then on the coach for 3 1/2 hours part of that was stuck in a tunnel for a hour with the guide getting on and off and letting all the fumes in the coach then the rest of the day was just a rush and a waist of a days holiday the guild was lovely but we know more about her life that the lakes 😢

A little more detail about the trip on the website would be good. We didn’t realise there was an optional boat trip in Sirmione. There was a 90+ minute delay on the way to Limone due to an incident in one of the tunnels. Not TUI’s fault but a complimentary bottle of water while waiting would have been good. USB charging points in the bus would also be useful, Alex the bus driver was very good.

Had a lovely day, gives you a good idea to focus on if you fancy visiting any of the villages later on. Definitely recommend taking the additional boat trip 12eur each in Simione, there's a surprise at the end.

The tour guide, Rosella, was very knowledgeable of the history of the towns we visited .also gave us good recommendations re lunch. We got held up by one hour due to a lorry getting stuck under a tunnel, but Rosella and the bus driver kept us informed.

The boat ride at Sirmeone was the only positive aspect of the trip apart from Rosella the tour guide who was exceptional and Robert the driver who was also excellent. There was very little time in each resort, even though we had been promised up to 2 hours when the tour was sold to us.

Good things: the historical commentary which was highly interesting, informative and delivered well. We got stuck in the tunnel, which held us up but it was handled well and our boat trip to Malcesene was rescheduled to allow us more time in Limone. Not so good:: we only had 40 minutes in Malcesene which was disappointing and didn’t leave us enough time to do much more than find our way to the coach pick-up. There was no opportunity to purchase the water on offer and it was extremely hot!

This is a great trip. The driver and the rep were both very good. We had plenty of time at each stop and were given lots of information. We were picked up from our hotel at 8:15 and returned around 4:30. The additional boat trip around the peninsula at Simone was worth it for the views. When we arrived it was quiet although the castle was closed as it was a Monday.

It was a great taster for the 3 places and amazing to see a long stretch of the scenery around the lake. I suppose not very long in each place to explore but we saw a lot. The guide (Janna, Czech lady, lovely) was both informative and funny, great anecdotes about the history of the lake and a lovely tone of voice. Great driver Paolo too, esp through the tunnels! A really great trip, thanks so much!

Great guide. Unfortunately we got caught up in traffic (can't be helped) which cut short our visit to Limone so not quite enough time in each town. Can recommend paying for the speed boat trip whilst in Sirmione, really good fun. Excellent guide, very informative and well organised.

This was a longer trip than stated in the description, over the 8 hour duration and a lot of it sitting a bus. The locations visited were beautiful and I am pleased to have seen them, however about 4 hours of the day is spent on the bus, with a 2 hour drive from Simioni to Limoni. Had we know the amount of time spent on the bus we would not have chosen this route to visit the 3 resorts included. There are enough ferries that could accommodate a visit.

In fact, the tour was better than you described as your itinerary didn't include free time in Limone that we had. Your information doesn't mention the free time there. It was already value for money by that point, and there was still more to come. The tour guide was excellent and the driving exceptional as he had to drive through difficult tunnels through the mountain. Highly recommend

Seeing 3 very different villages and scenery. The recommended boat trip at Sirmione was sightful and good fun. I personally did not like the long coach trip between Sirmione and Limone, although the guide was fantastic. Good have done with a short break on the way to break up the journey.

Good opportunity to see areas in the north but organisation from guide was poor. Told to meet at 14:15 for ferry from limone and ferry left at 14:15, so was fortunate that people gathered earlier than time the guide said. Once onboard at Malcesine, guide asked people if anyone was missing in seats by them. No checking names or numbers.

Misled and mis sold. Not informed by rep selling the trip that the journey entailed 2 hrs sitting on a bus from Simone and Limone! Other customers were furious and unhappy with this too. Some asked if the bus could turn back. Impression given was that the journey would focus on ferry travel!!. Tour guide was very good . The fault lies with the Tui marketing team. Only had barley 40 mins NOT the hour promised! Chunk taken up by guide giving group instructions and walk back to coach!

The day was a total washout due yo the weather.It rained heavily all day making safety an issue as everywhere was slippery including steps.The excursion should have been cancelled as it was impossible to enjoy. Trying yo find a toilet was nearly impossible and i was caught in the glass doors which clashed shut against my head which was very painfull.

Excellent Tui guide giving a detailed commentary in a clear way. Stops at Sirmione, Limone and Malcesine were well chosen. All beautiful places to see. Took optional boat trip around the islands off Sirmione. The commentary was impossible to hear over the boat tannoy so no information was relayed. Ear plugs with radio would have been better. Criticism aside this was a very good introduction to Lake Garda and the guide added greatly to the enjoyment.

Atrocious weather ruined trip. After wandering around at first stop we were soaked through despite waterproof jacket and umbrella and then had to sit on coach wet and cold for rest of day. No enthusiasm for other stops as no let up in rain. Feel strongly that TUI shpuld have cancelled/rescheduled trip due to conditions. Guide did contact TUI due to complaints bit was told to stick to schedule. All very well someone in an office making that decision when tjey wete warm and dry Very bad PR.

Far too long on coach, last visit to Malcesine was not needed. For the cost of the trip and early start, giving only 20 mins for breakfast, I would expect to be collected from the hotel, not have to walk 15 minutes to a bus stop, which, incidentally the TUI staff were unsure where it was..

Tooky? Our super Dutch tour guide for the day was fabulous. Very friendly, professional, constantly very informative. She gave interesting facts, and history everywhere we went. Swat, the coach driver was also very courteous and professional. He knew his coach, the roads and tunnels. We felt safe! Leaving early was certainly the right decision to get in the boat and ferry rides. Visiting all places comfortably with time to see, and eat comfortably in the time given. A super trip all around!

Tour was rather expensive. The coach provided for the tour was more like a minibus and so was very tight on space and cramped inside. Bear in mind you are on it for nearly 4 hoirs in total

Enjoyed the day on the whole apart from the weather which cannot be helped. Wandering around towns in the pouring rain marred what should have been a lovely day but who wants to trek round slippery cobbled streets, some on a slope, in driving rain. The boat trip was surprisingly calm and a good experience. Again if it had been a dry day it would have been much more enjoyable. We ended up diving into cafes to eat and drink to escape the weather

The trip was spoilt by 1couple being 1/2 hr late. The waiting for this 1couple meant we sat on the coach for 1/2 hr before we left to pick the people waiting at other stops. This lead to less time spent at each destination and hurried because we had to be in time for the boat trip. I feel that we should have left on time. rather than spoiling the trip for 30+ TUI clients. The coach driver was very good and the Guide was very informative, she had to apologise each time that we didn’t have long.

Tour guide was good but we were rushing to see anything where we stopped. If we want to have a look around and have a coffee it felt has if we had to hurry all the time. Would I recommend it no didn't have time to look around these places. Wouldn't recommend anyone do it in peak season it was over crowded when we went I would hate to see it at peak season.
