Visit these two historical cities and learn all about the legends that surround them on this full-day tour with a bilingual guide.Your trip begins with a visit to Salamanca, where you have the opportunity to explore its innumerable corners and details. Next, you will visit the main square of Salamanca, which is characterized by its impressive and intricate baroque adornments. Visit the beautiful cathedral and revel in its architecture and history. You'll spend three hours in Salamanca before heading towards Ávila.Next, you will visit the impressive walls of Ávila, where your guide shares historical facts about the Sanctum of San Vicente and the Cathedral. If you choose the option you will be able to visit the Medieval Walls, the symbol of the city. It is one of the best-preserved city walls in Europe, dating back to the 11th century, that with its 2.5-kilometer long, encloses the old town with 88 semicircular towers and nine monumental gates. Enjoy some free time in the city at the end of the tour to explore at your own pace.
