Qué esperar
Het water voor de kust van Cyprus is rustig, warm en helder, dus ideaal om er te duiken. We hebben alles voor iedereen: van beginner tot gecertificeerd. Deze reeks van PADI-gecertificeerde cursussen zijn geschikt voor alle niveaus. Zo geniet je in een mum van tijd van de kleurrijke onderwaterwereld. En het vervoer krijg je erbij in deze kleine groepstocht. Je kiest tussen:Bubblemaker: Een beperkte introductie tot duiken voor de leeftijd van 8-11 jaar, inclusief een korte theorieles op DVD. Maximaal 2 kinderen per instructeurDiscover Scuba Diving: Leer de basistheorie, oefen in ondiep water en maak een onderwatertocht in de baai met een instructeur. De maximale diepte is 6 meter.Scuba Diver: Theorie en DVD-les. Inclusief de basisvaardigheden van de praktijk en 2 kwalificatieduiken in open water.Open Water: Theorie en DVD-les. Inclusief volledige praktijkervaring in besloten water en 4 kwalificatieduiken in open water.Advanced Open Water – Vijf speciale duiken die voortbouwen op je open water ervaring. Inclusief 2 basisduiken (navigatie en diep) en 3 keuze duiken (bijvoorbeeld avond/multi-level/zoeken en berging/natuur/onderwaterfotografie).Gecertificeerde duikers – Ervaren duikers moeten één duik maken voordat ze een pakket kiezen. Buiten de tank en lood om, zijn de huur van de uitrusting en de enkele duik extra kosten die direct aan het duikcentrum moeten worden betaald. Je kunt kiezen uit een pakket met twee duiken, vier duiken of zes duiken, of een Zenobia wrak-duik (checkduik + 2 bootduiken).

De minimumleeftijd is 11 jaar voor alle duiken, behalve Bubblemaker, dat is ontworpen voor kinderen van 8-11 jaar
Als je nog nooit hebt gedoken, kies dan voor de optie Discover Scuba Diving (voor Discover Scuba Diving moet je EUR 10,00 extra betalen aan het duikcentrum voor het huren van de uitrusting en de PADI-registratie).
Om met een kwalificatie te beginnen, kies je voor de Scuba Diver of Open Water cursus
Als je al een basiskwalificatie hebt, kies dan voor de Advanced cursus
Voor lokale wrakken en MUSAN onderwatermuseum duiken, betaal je een vergoeding voor de boot van EUR 20,00 aan het duikcentrum
Voor gecertificeerde duikers moet je EUR 10,00 per duik aan het duikcentrum betalen voor het huren van de uitrusting
Voor gevorderde duikers met een Enriched Air-brevet is er de Zenobia-wrakduik (let op: voor Zenobia moet je alle huur van uitrusting, transfers, eten en bootkosten rechtstreeks aan het duikcentrum betalen - EUR 70,00)
Voor alle wrakduiken (inclusief Zenobia) moet je een ‘checkduik' doen. Boek je enkele checkduik apart, minstens een dag van tevoren
De kosten voor cursushandleidingen betaal je extra (100,00 euro) en gelden voor alle duikcursussen. Je betaalt dit rechtstreeks aan het duikcentrum
Controleer of je aan de vereiste kwalificaties voldoet voordat je een duik kiest
Duiken is niet toegestaan binnen 24 uur na het vliegen
Je moet een medische vragenlijst invullen
Let op: duikcursussen (zoals Open Water-cursussen en cursussen voor gevorderden) zijn in juli en augustus alleen beschikbaar met minimaal 2 deelnemers
Kinderen moeten altijd worden begeleid door een volwassene (18+)
Er kunnen hoogte-, gewichts- en/of leeftijdsbeperkingen gelden
Neem je zwemspullen en zonnebrandmiddel mee
Neem een handdoek mee
Geld voor extra's of fooien

We absolutely loved this experience. It was our first time scuba diving and we got to do much more than we were expecting. The instructors ( Manuel and Nora ) were excellent and make us feel safe and confident in the water.

I really enjoyed this experience. The staff are friendly, organised, professional & patient. They explain things well and help if you need a bit of extra assistance. The water was a bit murky at the start, due to weather and the amount of people swimming that day. However it was clearer further out, we still saw loads of fish and one was my favourite so that’s was a bucket list item ticked off! I would recommend this to everyone, even if you are a bit nervous. You do need 10€ cash extra minimum

Didn’t realise I had to pay an additional €10 per person on arrival and the transport used to get to and from out hotel by the company was unsafe as the back seat seatbelts did not work. Every thing else was amazing!

Thought the whole experience was spot on from their part. The only issue I had was on Tui’s part. The pick up said outside the hotel, but on closer inspection and last monute I realised the hotel was a different one 300m away, which meant we were late for pick up. On the confirmation email from TUI … the time, location hotel and exact location needs to be bolder on it. The experience itself was first class. We have been before but I would say this is the number 1 attraction in Cyprus.

Our sons (13) & (19) went on this experience. When we asked our 13 year old how he’d rate it he said 9/10 and only because he wanted longer. The time taken to explain to first time divers give so much confidence. They both came back full of what they had seen and done. This is extremely good value for money and if you’re thinking of doing it stop thinking and book. Thank you so much for adding an amazing experience to our holiday

Very friendly and safety conscious , Instructor was very good and knowledgeable, fantastic first dive and location was superb. If it wasn't towards the end of the holiday, would have booked again. Cheaper to book through TUI than going direct. Door to door service from hotel to Dive Centre. Underwater photos instructor took and video brilliant.

Great experience after being let down by a different excursion. My youngest (10) absolutely loved trying scuba diving and was a natural but because I was very nervous initially we didn’t go very deep but we did see quite a few different fish. The guide was great with us both as were all the staff at the centre and will definitely be trying this again when we go back hopefully next year.

Our instructors were amazing from start to finish. I have mobility problems and they helped me into the water before putting the kit on me. My wife has a phobia of drowning but they were calm and precise with her, which helped her feel safe. They were with us the whole time and made for a truly amazing experience..I would recommend this to anyone to give it a try, you will not regret it. We will be back to do this again 100%

This was one of the most enjoyable activities we have ever booked. From being picked up at the hotel till we were dropped off the whole experience was first class. The safety briefing gave you confidence but once Kat, the instructor, got us to the water it ramped up a whole extra level. She was amazing and took care of us in the underwater realm never once making you feel uneasy. The experience underwater was amazing, statues, feeding fish, seahorse etc. If you only book one trip do this defo!
