On this full day tour, you'll visit the UNESCO-listed old town of Cordoba in May, when it comes to life during the annual patio competition. You'll see the flower-festooned patios on a guided tour, discover the great mosque and enjoy free time to explore. Paco, one of our local guides, says, ‘Scratch beneath the surface in Cordoba, and you'll find the orient. Everywhere you look, the past stares back at you. And for a true flavour of modern Cordoba, make sure to try our trademark chilled salmorejo soup.'Once the biggest city in Europe, Cordoba offers up an exotic mix of Roman, Moorish, Christian and Jewish influences – all reflected in the old town. You'll set off on an extended walking tour of the San Basilio neighbourhood to see it all for your own eyes, while also taking in a couple of the patios decorated in flowers for the festival that takes place throughout May. They bring so much colour to the city and are eminently instagrammable. Afterwards, you'll be handed your ticket to enter the medieval mosque, or Mezquita – Cordoba's showpiece. Get the lowdown from your expert local guide on the history behind this UNESCO World Heritage Site. It boasts 800 two-tiered arches, honeycombed domes and many more treasures. Uniquely, it hosts a no-expense-spared decorated Renaissance cathedral in its core. Bezoek aan de mezquita was indrukwekkend, gids gaf zeer interessante uitleg. Stadswandeling was ook goed, enkel de bloemenpatio's hadden we meer van verwacht. Voldoende vrije tijd, gids was ook steeds bereikbaar.

We hebben erg lang achter de gids aangelopen. We wilde eerder de straatjes van Cordoba verkennen. Daarna hadden we ongeveer 45 minuten om te eten. Om 12.00 waren de meeste restaurants nog dicht. Toen weer verzamelen voor de moskee, daarna nog maar een uurtje tijd over voordat we weer terug moesten zijn bij de bus! Kortom veel te weinig tijd alles moest vrij haastig.

Enjoyed the tour guide very informative. Cordoba in its self very beautiful and full of history with the Roman bridge and the Mosque. A warning to anyone going there in summer very hot a few degrees higher than the coastline. Glad I did this trip.??

Gids Barbara deed haar best maar iedereen vroeg dat ze luider praatte in de bus omdat ze niet verstaanbaar genoeg was. Ze veranderde ook van locatie om terug af te spreken om terug naar de bus te gaan ' s avonds, daardoor heeft ze twee mensen moeten achterlaten. Gids Duits talig was zeer goed in het prachtige Mezquita. Heeft nog de moeite gedaan om een stukje van de oude stad te laten zien.

Die Reiseleitung entsprach in keiner Weise den Erwartungen. Informationen und Wortbeiträge im Bus Warensendung spärlich. Und wenn, dann waren sie so leise, dass man nichts verstehen konnte. Hinweise, das Gerät laute zu stellen oder einfach lauter zureden, waren zwecklos. Ganz im Gegenteil dazu die Reiseführerin in Córdoba. Diese war schlichtweg spitze. Sie „lebte“ ihre Stadt und die Kathedrale. Sei erklärte alles kurzweilig und sehr anschaulich. Mann wurde in die Geschichte zurückversetzt.

négatif , j'ai oublié sur le bus tui un petit sac contenant mes lunettes de vue, bien que j'en ai fait la déclaration 5 minutes après être descendu du bus personne n'a pu ou voulu m'aider et malgré plusieurs rappels à votre personnel au Blu Riviera toujours pas de nouvelles et c'est très embêtant et ce malgré que mes solaires soient adaptées à ma vue peut-être pouvez-vous faire quelque chose

La visite de la vieille ville est magnifique, les balcons splendides.
La mezquita vaut bien le détour même si, pour mon goût, on y a passé trop de temps.
J'ai fait la visite avec ma dille de 4ans, elle a bcp apprécié et notre guide était compétent .

Wir haben extra bei tui den teuren Ausflug gebucht (bei anderen Anbietern viel billiger) da der Ausflug auf deutsch sein sollte. Mit Guide Igor hatten wir einen sehr netten Guide, der 4 Sprachen "sprach " deutsch kaum konnte, bei englisch immer wieder um die Worte ringen musste, und die Sprachen auch durcheinander brachte. Man konnte nicht folgen. Auch der Guide der Führung in Cordoba sprach Englisch, nicht deutsch. Wir haben englisch gehört,da man der Übersetzung von Igor nicht folgen konnte.

The guide on the coach and for the short walk to the patios was very good and the guide for the mosque/walk around Cordoba old town also good. The fact the guide on the coach had to speak in 3 different languages whilst he was very proficient it did become tiresome by the end of the day. It was much easier for the mosque when we split in to 2 groups with 1 language each group. The patio flowers were very pretty and the mosque/cathedral very interesting.

Die Tour nach Cordoba ist das Highlight meines Urlaubs. Die Mesquita ein Juwel unter den historischen Gebäuden. Der Guide José hat die Führung zu einem Erlebnis gemacht. Er ist etwas ganz Besonderes unter den Guides. Ich bin rundum begeistert.

Wir haben eine Tour auf Deutsch gebucht. Erhalten haben wir English, Französisch und deutsch. Auf Dauer ist das anstrengend, wenn im Bus in allen Sprachen geredet wird vom Guide. Zukünftig bitte ausschließlich eine Sprache im Bus unterbringen.
