Qué esperar
Lanzarote's rugged north is in the spotlight on this guided walk, which sees you conquering the heady heights of La Corona volcano, Famara cliffs and the highest point on the island, Peñas del Chache. You'll hike about 9km while experiencing the overpowering beauty of the island. It all kicks off in the town of Ye from where you'll join your guide to scale La Corona volcano. You'll trek across lunar-like landscapes, look out over vine-covered hills and peek inside a lava tunnel, too. From the top, you can expect some jaw-dropping views of the Famara cliffs, which will be your next destination. These cliffs rise 500m out of the sea to form one of Lanzarote's most impressive natural sights, and you'll be able to see the Chinijo Archipelago from the edge. You'll round off the trek heading up to the island's highest point, Peñas del Chache.
