Mystic Mountain platinum and diamond packages

The toboggan was not working on our time slot. Booked this experience to try the toboggan ride. Didn’t get to go on the toboggan, as time ran out and ques were long after finishing other rides. ATV’s great experience. Zip lines, the groups using are to big, and not enough staff to get people around. This took a long time, then you had to go back down on the cable car to the front entrances and then back up to the top. Taking around 25mins on the cable car at the end. No time for the toboggan

Pick up from hotel 9:50, arrived approximately 11am, then a little bit of time to sort wristbands out. Pick up time to go Dunn's Waterfalls was 14:30 and the zip line experience was 13:15. This gave is little time to fully experience Mystic River and do all the attractions. Zip line experience was then delayed so we departed at 15:00 to go Dunn's River. Only had one hour there before pick up. Too much to do in very little time. Not worth doing as a package as you lose out.

The rides and zip line were fun but could have been more. The park was quiet but the queues were still building for some rides and there was a lot of hanging around without any information or explanation especially before the zip line experience. Overall disappointed.

Das Problem war wir hatten keine Zeit gehabt, um alles zu machen was in Platinum Ticket inklusive war. Die Kinder konnten keine Klettern mitmachen, weil wir in der Zipline zu lange gebraucht hatten, weil zu viel los war. Mit einem Stunden länger wäre besser gewesen. Wir müssten sogar unseres Mittagessen in Seilbahn nach unten schnell essen, weil wir verspätet waren. Die Abholungszeiten sollten angepasst werden.

No drink included in lunch. Lunch menu included was severely restricted from main available menu. Time was too short to enjoy full experience. Needs at least another 60 to 90 mins

It was very expensive for what was included. Basically 2 Theme Park style rides which you were limited to just 1 ride on each, and a Zipline experience, (which was a bit more exciting than the rides).

The good: - activities were fun The bad: - took 7 hours in total (3hrs there and back) Tui should advise of this as collecting others - Team there hound you for tips, we was told we didn’t enjoy Dunns river because the tip we gave wasn’t enough. When you pay £150 each you shouldn’t feel pressured - activities feel really rushed - not worth the price do not add lunch as lunch is £16 there and Tui charge more What to take: don’t forget clean dry set of clothes if doing the Dunns river

We arrived at 8.45am, no one else was there. We are advised to get mosquito bands and a locker so £30 spent before we started. The bobsled took 2 minutes and so be the ride. We then had an hour wait for the zip line, due to loads of people doing the zip line together it took nearly 50 minutes before we got going! This meant the zip line took 2 1/2 hours so we had no time for lunch cos the bus was waiting, the driver didn’t know we had Dunn river falls as part of experience

The experience itself was great we loved the ziplining and the staff who worked there were brilliant. They laughed and joked and made the experience even more memorable. However, we only got 4 hours to do the 3 experiences we had payed for (ziplining bobsledding and raggamuffin ride) and enjoy the day as we had to be back at the coach for 2pm. This seemed unfair we payed around £430 for the trip and we had to rush it. If we had picked dunns river or blue hole as one of our excursions we would have been rushed even more. 4 hours is just ridiculous it takes 2 hours to do dunns river alone. Some people only booked one experience so that was plenty of time for them. Also they tried to give our daughter a wrist band that excluded her from all the attractions. We payed over £100 for hers alone and they tried telling us hers only included the chair lift and we would have to pay for her to do the attractions luckily I had the information about her ticket on my phone. We didn't have time to take the day in and do some of the free activities, so I would not recommend doing the trip through tui book a taxi and get them to collect you at 4 if you want to do 3 experiences we were ripped off and if I could I would ask for some of my money back.

The advertised timings on the TUI website and App (and the details confirmed 24 hours prior to the excursion via the App) are incorrect. We were waiting in the hotel lobby at 7:50am for an 8:00am pick-up. By 9:00am, after lots of pacing and panicking, a representative from Mystic Mountain who was at the hotel advised that the pick up time was 10am and that this had been notified to TUI several weeks ago and he couldn’t understand why the website/app hadn’t been updated. Whether true or not, he arranged transport for us and another party to get to the location. It was not a TUI-led excursion. On that note, the TUI Rep, who is advertised as being at the Bahia Principe Hotel between 9am - 4:30pm some days, was never anywhere to be seen. Back to the tour…. The chairlift to the top of the mountain is lovely and takes just 15 mins or so. Good views of cruise ships in Ochos Rios and very peaceful. The Bobsleigh ride is fun although the queue goes down VERY slowly. The Ragamuffin ride is good too. My wife also did the Zipline, which she enjoyed, however my daughter and I were told it would be a 45 mins wait for her to return - but she was gone exactly 2 hours in total, so be prepared to wait around and get your timings sorted if you’ve been given a pick-up time by your driver. The meal is rice, beans and jerk chicken with no drink included, but you can buy bottles of coke, etc for a couple of US dollars. You also need to pay $6 for a locker and the water slide is currently out of service (Feb’22). The optional extra of a stop-off at Dunns River Falls is not actually an option, so (a) don’t believe the website/app and (b) be prepared to book it as a separate tour despite them being only a mile or two away from Mystic Mountain. Overall, pick-up time dramas apart, we did have a good 5 hours out of the hotel on the Platinum package. Was it worth the money, possibly not, I’d say it was only worth half the advertised price.

It states on the booking that soft drinks are in with the price on the tui app which they are not, I only took a small amount of money so we had to take it easy on drinks and it was a red hot day other than that it’s an amazing day out
