Thank you had a lovely evening. Lisa was so nice and so good at her job. Made the trip so interesting I would reccomend this trip food so nice dancers atmosphere amazing. What i would say is when you visit the rock you need to be mobile as there quite lot of steps a darkish tunnel so flat shoes i would wear if i was to go on this trip again.

Lisa, the guide, is legendary, combining humour, deep knowledge, fun, wit, efficiency, and a practiced facility to manage the evening to an exceptional level. The Kouklia experience is not to be missed by visitors and this TUI trip is hugely recommended. The whole village offers food, wine, entertainment, dancing and laughs in abundance.

We where informed wrongly about the trip , as my wife has mobility difficulties we had not been informed of a visit to aphrodite rock whick involves a large number of steps which my wife cannot do , we had to remain on the coach , had we been informed of these steps we would not have booked the trip ,

The evening was a great introduction to local Cypriot traditional social life/dress: through music, dance food & drink. It involved the guests on the evening trip to get up to have a go at some of the dances shown. Lots of fun & laughter was had by all who attended. Plus stop offs at local landmarks on the way to the venue/village, helped make the whole evening interesting and an opportunity to take even more photographs. The lady host/rep on the coach was great. Very humorous & knowledgeable.

Didn't go. Bus didn't turn up. Waited from 18.15 pm till 19.00 pm and gave up. The reps were trying to ring but no answer. Very disappointing.

The trip never happened for us, as we weren't picked up. After speaking to one of the representatives on the help line and giving all our details, we were informed the the bus had arrived, couldn't see us so left without us ......... even though all 4 of us were 20 mins early and stood waiting for 60 mins (thought they might be running a little late`) in the designated pick up spot. Very disappointed, as I'm sure the trip would have been great.

The trip to Aphrodite’s rock was a bit pointless as the sun had almost gone and it wasn’t a glass of fizz it was a paper cup with a bit of rose in it, however the meal in the village was delicious, the guide was great and the music and dancing was great. We would have liked it to be a bit longer with no Aphrodite’s rock and more dancing.

Enjoyed the night. Didn’t get enough time at the rock felt that part very rushed.
Host at taverna rather abrupt and came across as unfriendly but perhaps has had enough of visitors having now reached end of season. But that’s what we felt. Coach driver lovely and Lisa was knowledgeable.

The rep Lisa was very good informed and funny. The entertainment was excellent, although the food was good it was a bit rushed and ment that you loaded the plate without much consideration of what you was placing on there.

Two stops not necessary before dinner made trip drawn out making very little time at the dinner event. Only there less than two hours made to leave at 9.30 we were first to leave. Very disappointed.

Everything was amazing about this trip apart from it said wine included which it was, however not enough I was lucky I got two glasses of white wine husband got one glass of red. I went into the tavern to ask if I could buy some which I did, however felt a little more should of been put out to accommodate all guests

Trip was good but yet again, there were small children on the trip when it was advertised as 12+ Not adverse to children (both teachers) but did not feel comfortable seated at a table with young children and drink/relax Also some of the other people on the trip were rowdy due to drink - again inappropriate around small children. Had we known that small children would be present we would not have booked That said, the trip itself is good

The guide was clearly someone that loved her job and was enthusiastic to share snippets of Cypriot culture as well as the tour itself. The meal and dancing was very enjoyable and felt very authentic. Very minor point; it would have been useful to at the Aphrodites beach to be told which rocks were the attraction. It was obvious after goggling the question. A strongly recommended tour.

Guide Lisa very good. Food good. Wine awful !! Entertainment good. Disabled son. Couldn’t do steps at rock. We’re told a few there were lots and lots Also second stop for wine and photos very bumpy. No good for wheelchair and very difficult for him to walk Coach dropped short walk to village for food and entertainment but then was a lot further away for pick up. Very long walk for son Overall good evening. But not very disabled friendly

Am Felsen war viel zu wenig Zeit. Dann zum nächsten Stopp, wo wir einen Wein mehr oder weniger auf Ex getrunken haben, weil: zu wenig Zeit. Wir haben einen entspannten Ausflug erwartet, bei dem wir in ein kleines einheimisches Dorf gehen, uns vielleicht austauschen können und vielleicht noch etwas Tradition mitbekommen. Stattdessen wurden wir mit unserer Reisegruppe in die erste Reihe gesetzt und "aufgefordert" an dem Tanz teilzunehmen, der offensichtlich nur für die Touristen aufgeführt wurde.

The tui rep was fantastic full of information. It took about an hour if not more to pick everyone up, which was OK.as we got to see areas we haven't been too. The food was good at the venue, but wine wasn't very good, overall it was a good night

This was a brilliant trip with the guide Liza. Liza is very enthusiastic! She sang to us in Cypriot Greek, which all loved and the whole bus applauded!! I would definitely encourage Liza to sing more! The food and drink at the village were very good, and the dancers performance was memorable. It was magic to see the traditions of Cypriot villages, passes through generations! One improvement I would suggest is to give more time on Aphrodite's beach, as there was no time to buy souvenirs.

Sold as unlimited wine after 1 glass was having to ask for more when they did it was watered down and I watched them do it. I will add that the food was excellent as was the entertainment. As for aphrodites rock no history not even shown which rock it was. The rock all felt very rushed and more of box tick than part of tge experience. The guide was a very pleasant lady and her passion for Cyprus shone through its not terrible but could be better

Whilst the greek meal and folk dancing were extremely enjoyable, the wine tasting was not what we expected. We could have gone to the supermarket ourselves and bought our own bottle rather than had the "mouthfull" in a paper cup which was what we received.

Ganz ehrlich, viel zu teuer! Das Essen war lecker, allerdings wird man kritisch beobachtet, wenn man nicht alles auf einen Teller lädt und keine Berge an Essen vernichtet. Die Damentoiletten sind nicht abschließbar aber sauber. Der Drink ist günstiger Sekt aus einem Pappbecher. Guide Lisa erzählt viel, singt sehr viel, nicht gut, aber mit Begeisterung und ist sehr von sich überzeugt. Die Tanzvorführung war gut, etwas laut, aber open air muss das sein. Das Bier mit 3,- ist für 0,63l günstig.

No negatives here, even though the walk down to Ahprodite's rock was unsuitable for the less mobile we still stopped nearby for those who couldn't make it down the steps could see the attraction from a reasonable vantage point. Of course the tour de force Lisa was our guide, this woman is a goldmine. great knowledge and as this was the first trip to this restaurant this year, she wanted everything to be right. It was, great food, brilliant dancing, an experience enjoyed by all!

music and food excellent, Guide bit insensitive regarding ********** marriage couple. Sad she never gave guided tour of Aphrodite's rock just left us to our own devices. However the drink to the sunset was nice and the village food, drink and dancing was excellent.

The guide (Lisa) was very good. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of Paphos. The food was good however, the wine was not filled up often. The dancing and music were good with audience participation. Overall an enjoyable evening.

Overall we enjoyed the evening, transport arrived on time, the visit to the rock to see the sunset was lovely. The only negative was the guide. Lisa, never stopped talking much of the time about herself. She should concentrate on the key points of the experience rather than herself and unfunny jokes.

As soon as we were picked up by the rep Lisa, we knew we were in for a great night. Lisa is an asset to TUI ! Lisa gave us all so much history of paphos, and knew what she was talking about, and it wasn’t just a history lesson she was giving us, it was enjoyment just listening to her. I have in the past listened to reps and felt they were just reading a script, but with Lisa it was coming from the heart We come to paphos every year, and will definitely be bringing booking a trip with Lisa !!

What a fabulous evening. We had a lovely, funny guide Lisa. We watched the sun setting whilst we stood on aphrodite beach, wasnt told which rock it was! Drove a short distance to a viewpoint to watch the sun set with a small cup of sparkling wine, there was also non alcoholic option. There was a proposal whilst we were there, very romantic! The highlight was the village mezze and entertainment. The food was amazing, wine was flowing (the waiters are very busy you just have to ask for more).

De stop bij het strand in de buurt van Aphrodites Rock voegde niet veel toe. Het eten en het vermaak tijdens het avondprogramma was verrassend goed. Ook de prijzen van eventuele extra consumpties waren zeer redelijk.

This was my favourite part of this holiday. The views of Aphrodite rock were stunning and I had a little paddle in the sea. The food, dancing and music in Kouklia was wonderful and it felt like a treat to take part in it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the local area and had a close connection with everyone and did a little dancing and singing herself. If you would like a taste of the local culture then this is a fabulous experience. Thanks to everyone involved.

It took us 1 hour and 30 mins to get there having been the first picked up and the same coming back to the hotel. We weren’t notified that it would take so long to get there, and also, the bus journey will come part of most of the trip. Also, the first stop was rushed due to so many pick ups. By the time we went to the toilet it was almost time to walk back to the back. For 50 euros, I felt this was very overpriced

The evening started ok, the guide was very knowledgeable having done the job 39 years, but when we arrived at Aphrodites rock she served everyone a small half plastic cup of wine, nothing for children, then when we got to the tavern they brought out 1 jug of red one and 1 jug of white for our table, which meant we had again about half to 3/4 of a glass of wine, which considering it was sold as unlimited wine was very poor. Again nothing for the kids unless you paid extra for coke etc..

The guide was very knowledgeable and also cracked a few jokes, she was fun. The coach journey was a bit hairy at one point, a car had pulled a silly manoeuvre in front of the bus, the bus then tailgated the car far too close seeming out of anger at the driver along some mountain roads which was a bit hairy! The pink fizzy wine at the Aphrodite viewpoint was lovely. The food was wonderful and the dancing put on by a processional group was great and got people involved as much as they wanted to.

The trip was very well organised and the entertainment and food was brilliant. Our only disappointment was the photographer. She took photos of every couple/family but didn’t print off all the photos. When we asked where ours was she was rude. When I asked the guide whether they may get sent to the hotel instead the answer was No. I just feel she was totally disorganised and a few of our group were left disappointed. Having said that the rest of the evening was very enjoyable.

Excursion annoncé comme "Coucher du soleil" au Rocher d'Aphrodite ( +- 20h05-20h10 à la date à laquelle nous sommes allés ). Mais à 19h20-25, nous avions déjà quitté le site pour nous rendre au village où avait lieu le repas et la soirée de danses traditionnelles. ********** ambiance lors de cette soirée, nous avons passé un bon moment.

The guide and driver were very good and set the mood for the whole evening. The food and the atmosphere in the Village Street was amazing. There was music while you ate and after the meal everyone was looking forward to the folk dancing. And they were brilliant. We loved every minute of the evening. You

This experience was the best part of our two weeks holiday. The dancers got myself and my fiancé involved and we haven’t stopped laughing about it since! There were stunning views to take photos of and it was overall just an incredible experience!

Ive had meze in Cyprus previously but this was just a buffet .. not what I expected and not as nice as in our hotel. There was only red or white wine and you had to pay for beer. 7 carafes of white on the table but only 2 of red and not particularly good wine either. Enjoyed the bazooka but not so much the violin. Guide was quite funny, but she was singing in Greek on the way home and we couldn’t understand what she was singing.

Mezes eten midden op straat aan lange tafels was erg leuk. De muziek en dansers erbij maken het sfeertje af. Rock van Aphodite is ook wel leuk maar dat uitlijkpunt met een mini bekertje wijn was wat minder. Wijn smaakte prima maar vond dit deel eigenlijk niet veel aan.

Could have done with more time at the rock, perhaps with a view to having a swim. It was a fantastic little village and the entertainment excellent. The people were friendly and the food good.

The trip was great value for money. Our whole family had a wonderful time and we have made happy memories. The highlight was the authentic Cypriot evening of amazing food curtesy of Maria’s Taverna which was incredible and the Cypriot dancers were so much fun. They got everyone involved even our teenage daughter got involved and was dancing and had a great time. Liza was amazing, a great host and guide. Thank you so much

Liza, our tour guide is an absolute gem. Professional, funny, kind, knowledgeable and very friendly. We were on this trip in June 2023 and when we booked to return to Paphos in June 2024 we had to book this trip again. The food was fantastic. The atmosphere in Kouklia was awesome and we had a lot of fun watching the dancing and participating at times too.

This trip was a nice mix of culture & hospitality. The food at the village taverna was amazing & plentiful, as was the entertainment by the locals with dancing, music & balancing tricks. Aphrodite’s rock was more of a pit stop & nobody pointed out which rock it actually was, so we Googled it! The village experience was the real highlight, tables in the square with string lights, very evocative. Will definitely recommend.

Es wird ein Sunset Cocktail am Aphrodite’s Rock inseriert. Stattgefunden hat ein Weinausschank in Plastikbechern auf einem Parkplatz am Straßenrand mit einem 20 minütigen Aufenthalt ohne Erläuterungen am Strand. Den Felsen und die dazugehörige Geschichte musste man selbst im Internet nachschlagen. Dazu muss man keine Tour buchen

It was an amazing experience. The wine with Sunset was great. The food was fantastic, a good selection for anyone that is a vegetarian too. The atmosphere was electric, the traditional entertainment fun, and the way everyone joined in was so much fun. you could even go souvenir shopping as a shop was open

This was a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The staff were polite, accommodating and knowledgeable about the areas history. The food was delicious and offered a great variety. It was fantastic to experience some of the traditional music and dancing associated with Cypriot culture. My partner ended up rather involved in this element which was hilarious! We would absolutely recommend to others.

My husband and I both had a lovely evening but we were under the impression that we would see the sunset over Aphrodites Rock itself but it was in another location which was a bit disappointing (the wine was good though) We enjoyed the meal, the food and drink were plentiful. Whilst the dancers were very entertaining, my husband and I were quite concerned about the use of candles and setting light to newspaper tucked in their trousers. We understand that the dance is part of their culture though

No contact at our hotel, no notice displayed, we had to find out where the nearest rep was located,NOT GOOD FOR CLIENTS. We are now waiting for our return pick up time, do we have to go find the rep again???
