Con i loro vasti prati, i frutteti e le fitte foreste ricche di avifauna, i paesaggi dei Monti Troodos sono in continuo mutamento. E non c'è modo migliore per esplorarli che a bordo di un fuoristrada 4x4. In questo tour di un'intera giornata, visiterete Omodos, la Roccia di Afrodite e molto altro ancora.La giornata inizia con una breve sosta presso la Roccia Grande, prima di addentrarsi nella foresta di Troodos per visitare il suggestivo ponte di Tzelefos. Qui potrete partecipare a una mini escursione facoltativa nel bosco. Successivamente, sosta in un tradizionale “kafenion” per assaggiare un autentico caffè cipriota, prima di sfrecciare accanto a una cascata di 20 metri per scattare qualche foto da postare su Instagram. Una volta stuzzicato l'appetito, il pranzo verrà servito in una taverna nelle vicinanze.Successivamente, vi dirigerete verso il villaggio di Omodos, proprio nel cuore della regione vinicola di Limassol. Potrete fare una sosta in un bar o visitare il Monastero della Santa Croce, risalente al XVII secolo. A concludere la giornata ci sarà una visita a Petra tou Romiou, meglio conosciuta come la Roccia di Afrodite, dove potrete fare una nuotata o rilassarvi sulla distesa di sabbia.

Die Weinprobe war leider nur ein schnelles Probieren von qualitativ minderwertigen Weinen. Der Guide Antonis war spitze - witzig, auskunftsfreudig und sehr verbunden mit seinem Land. Er sprach auch sehr gut deutsch.

Gerry the tour guide was fantastic, very informative and funny. It was a great excursion, just the right amount of time at each stop. Tall people may need to be pre-warned about the 4x4 seating space available, but otherwise everything was fantastic.

Really enjoyed this tour. Our guide Jerry was very entertaining and knowledgeable. All of the stops were really interesting and lunch was really good too. Highly recommended if you want to get off your sun loungers and get out and about for a day.

Wenn es von der Hauptstraße auf die Sandpiste geht spielt es Mission Impossible, aber halb so schlimm mit diesem Fahrer würde ich durch die Hölle fahren, dabei nimmt er sich die Zeit um uns Zypern näher zu bringen. Geschichtlich und auch pflanzlich Vielen Dank

The day started badly. We had to wait over 40 minutes to get picked up and the "need help" phone line on the booking, is useless as it's not operational until 10am, and our trip started at 8:30am. Our driver,George, did his best, but the disastrous lunch totally ruined the day. We arrived at the cafe and had taken our seats and were told by the waiter that we had to leave them so he could take photographic proof of the meal numbers and resulted in everything being cold by the time we sat to eat

Wir sind bzw. waren 14 Tage auf Zypern und haben wirklich einige Ausflüge über unsere TUI Beraterin Bianca gebucht. Alles was sie uns empfohlen hat, war wirklich toll, aber dieser Ausflug war der Hammer. Wir waren mit Antonis unterwegs, er hat es wirklich zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis für alle Beteiligten gemacht. Er geht auf Fragen ein, ist hilfsbereit und bringt einen immer wieder zum lachen. Fazit: danke Bianca für die tolle Beratung und danke Antonis, für diesen unvergesslichen Tag.

We had a great trip up into the mountains with our guide Antonis, highly entertaining and informative. Stunning scenery, and beautiful villages. Lunch was plentiful and delicious. For us, each stop was just enough time to take in the sights and the ambiance, not too rushed but we didn’t linger. Particularly enjoyed Antonis’s playlist for the off-roading parts and his singing is a wonder to behold 🤣.

I have given this a low score due to the driver nearly breaking mine and my partners necks. All good until he went off road and drove too fast for the conditions. We both smashed our heads into the roof of the Land Rover, I had to tell the driver to slow down. The places visited were great with a lovely lunch stop. Spoilt by the above mentioned issue with driving too fast off-road.

Besonders hervorzuheben ist der Guide Antonis. Er verfügt über sehr viel Wissen: nicht nur zu den einzelnen Stopps, sondern er kann jede Frage beantworten, kennt unzählige Pflanzen und macht die Landrovertour zu einer wirklich spaßigen Unternehmung. Er verdient unsere besondere Anerkennung. Die Weinprobe war zu schnell: Ankommen, einen Wein nach dem anderen probieren in Windeseile und dann die Einladung zum Einkaufen.

Our driver Antonis, was very good at giving us all the information about the areas we were in and the history etc. He showed us many things even one of the wild orchids that grow in Cyprus. We had so much fun and spent the day laughing, if I was booking another trip I would ask for Antonis as he made our day and our holiday, havnt laughed and had so much fun in a long time

Jerry the driver from Daktari Tours provided a wonderful experience and was so amiable and professional throughout. His knowledge is incredible and ensured to give a rich insight into all that Cyprus has to offer. The 4x4 drive through the mountains verged on being a Rally experience a was a highlight of the day ... hold on to your butts! Food served at the Skylight restaurant was sumptuous and the wine tasting at Lion Spirit Winery and Distillery was incredible! Highly recommended!

Antonis war ein super sympathischer Tour-Guide! Es hat uns sehr viel Spaß gemacht und wir haben einen guten Eindruck vom Troodos-Gebirge und viele Infos zu Zypern erhalten. Die Gruppen-Größe von 6 Personen war für uns optimal! In Omodos wäre etwas mehr Zeit schön gewesen. Insgesamt aber 100% Weiterempfehlung von uns :) Wir waren schon fast ein wenig sentimental als der Ausflug vorbei war.

Eine super Tour durchs Gebirge. Der Fahrer war einfach toll. Sehr eindrucksvolle Erklärungen. Hat einfach Freude mit ihm gemacht. Die Stops waren zeitlich ausreichend, das Mittagessen sehr lecker und die Weinprobe ein kleines Erlebnis. Insgesamt ist die Tour nur zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank für dieses tolle Erlebnis.

Ryan ( from South Africa ) made the tour from the very beginning he was very helpful / knowledgeable which showed through that he Loved his job. We had plenty of opportunities to ask questions and be involved. For the time of year being end of January it was still a good day out. A good experience at the Lion wine tasting, lunch at the star light restaurant was very nice, the restaurant staff were friendly. Tried some Cyprus coffee ( not a fan ) more of a tea drinker. A good day out worth doing.

Marvelllously interesting tour given by ‘Ryan’ our driver and guide. Fascinating history and local stories (true or not..who cares!) amusing and entertaining. An informative ecologist and naturalist rolled into one… also a careful driver on some pretty rough terrain, and caring and watchful of passengers. Lovely little villages bursting with colourful arts and crafts ,… very touristy of course, but that’s what we were….met friendly people all the way. Great views from up in the mountains,

In unserer Gruppe war ein Paar über 80, für das die Tour nicht geeignet war. Der TUI Mitarbeiter, der den beiden die Tour verkauft hatte, wusste offensichtlich nicht, was er verkauft und unser Guide hätte die beiden gar nicht mitnehmen dürfen, nachdem sie kaum in den Wagen steigen konnten. Die Fahrt war für die beiden sehr unsicher. Wir mussten vermehrt Pausen einlegen und hatten wenig Zeit für die einzelnen Orte. Unser Guide hat uns kaum Infos zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten übermittelt. Es war ein Abenteuer mit schöner Aussicht. Der Stopp im Restaurant mit Mittagessen war überraschend gut. Die Weinprobe war köstlich und herzlich geführt. Wir haben einige Flaschen gekauft. Der Guide hat alle Fragen beantwortet, auch außerhalb der Tour. Die Tour verdient eine klare Empfehlung, man sollte aber auch noch körperliche etwas belastbar sein.

Eine super ganztages Tour bei der man sehr viel vom Troodos Gebirge sieht. Es sind zwar immer nur kurze Stopps, aber für eine Übersicht ausreichend. Einen spitzen Fahrer hatten wir, der uns kurzweilig über die zypriotische Geschichte, die Eigenheiten, Kultur und Natur des Landes aufgeklärt hat!

Overall the experience was good, my only issue was there was not much in the way of a vegetarian option for the lunch. All the meat eaters were tucking into all sorts of meat dishes where I was offered what looked like a bowl of pulses plus a share of the salad offered to everyone. I did tell the guide at the beginning of the trip I was vegetarian and he did call the restaurant to inform them but they said they didn’t have a vegetarian menu.

The jeep was a bit uncomfortable in the back but comfy in the front. Our guide Gerry was fantastic, very knowledgeable and friendly. The food stop was very good. The only negative was not enough time to enjoy a swim at Aphrodite’s rock but overall a great day.

Great excursion, made even better with Jerry as our driver. Very friendly and knowledgeable host. Good itinerary with good variation- not rushed either. Couple of points to mention. We had two people not turn up which gave us total of 8 which was ok. If others had turned up to make it 10, we’d have been uncomfortably cramped. Also journey off road could be uncomfortable for anyone with back problems as you do get thrown about a bit. Think should be advisory warning when booking. Otherwise good!

We enjoyed the whole day as a whole could be a little more time to spend at the end when you go down to the water only got half hour so by the time you climb down and get sorted it's nearly time to return to jeep

The views and knowledge of guide. Good Pick up was 40 mins late as car breakdown. Guide drove quite fast n at times on wrong side of road especially on bends!!! Bad

Poor
Too crowded in 4 x 4. Stopped at bridge and waterfall and told NOTHING about them. Very crowded table for lunch. Tui rep advised us there would be different village and monastery visited but it was the same as a previous tour. Told to bring swimming things which meant everyone had big bags and nowhere to put them. Poor driving skills for long wheel base 4 x 4. We would not recommend.

Loved the whole experience. Fabulous day with beautiful scenery. Lunch was amazing. The drivers were excellent and friendly. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great day out.

Our tour guide, Jerry, was fantastic. He really made the whole experience special and enjoyable. Getting to travel to several sights and learn about the area was good. Having time for a swim later in the afternoon at Aphrodites rock was lovely. The offroading up the mountain was great fun!

De trip was erg leuk, veel gezien en de gids vertelde erg veel. De auto was wel erg krap voor 8 volwassenen, als je achterin zat kon je weinig zien en jammer dat het dak niet open kon dan was het wellicht beter te doen geweest

Durch unseren hervorragenden Tourguide Antonio haben wir unglaublich viel über Land und Leute erfahren. Er hat überdurchschnittliche Leistung erbracht und alle Mitreisenden als Gruppe gut im Blick gehabt. Das Restaurant war sehr gut und auch die Weinprobe kurzweilig und informativ.

Guido war freundlich, ein wenig wortkarg. Guides aus anderen Landrovers gleicher Anbieter war mit mehreren Landrovern unterwegs) haben deutlich mehr Infos gegeben. Tour an sich klasse, schöne Spots und tolle Location für das Mittagessen. Bitte beachten, dass es wirklich über einige Strecken über Stock und Stein geht, das muss eman aushalten können!

Je moest veiligheidsgordels aandoen maar als ze kapot zijn kun je ze moeilijk vastklikken hè. Wel heel mooie tour met voldoende stops en mooie plekjes bezocht. Genoeg tijd om even te genieten en dingen te bewonderen. Zeer lekkere lunch, in een prachtige setting. Het had enkel mss nog iets meer off road gemogen, was nogal veel op de gewone wegen rijden.

Viel zu viel an einem Tag. Sehr kurze Stopps zum foto machen. Viele Zeit im Auto. Deutsche Tour gebucht, war im Auto mit einem Englisch sprachigen Fahrer und sonst alles Franzosen. In der Beschreibung stand: Entspannen und Baden am Strand beim Felsen von Aphrodite. Wir hatten aber nur 25 minutwn Zeit da, also stimmte auxh die beschreibung nicht. Die Fahrt war sonst angenehm und sicher, tour guide auf deutsch war freundlich, das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Weniger ist manchmal mehr ;)
