Entdecken Sie auf dieser sechsstündigen Tour in Begleitung eines Ägyptologen das Tal der Könige, den Hatschepsut-Tempel und den Nil an Bord eines traditionellen ägyptischen Holzbootes.Nach dem Treffen mit Ihrem Tourguide fahren Sie zum Westufer von Luxor, um das Tal der Könige zu besichtigen. Sie erfahren, warum es einst als „Tore der Könige“ oder „Ort der Wahrheit“ bezeichnet wurde, und lernen die mächtigen Könige kennen, die einst dort in steinernen Sarkophagen ruhten und auf die Unsterblichkeit warteten – darunter auch Tutanchamun. Anschließend erkunden Sie den Tempel der Hatschepsut, der sich aus der Wüste erhebt, und erfahren, wie 1876 der größte Mumienfund der Geschichte gemacht wurde. Bevor Sie den Nil überqueren, um zum Ostufer von Luxor zu gelangen, machen Sie Halt bei zwei 60-Fuß-Steinstatuen, die seit mehr als 3.000 Jahren dort stehen. Anschließend entspannen Sie sich eine Stunde lang an Bord der Feluke bei einer Fahrt auf dem Nil und betrachten die Stadt Luxor.

I didn’t like going to the alabaster workshop as I was pressured to buy from the shop. The Valley of the kings was great as was Hatshepsuts temple, but the Colossai were not impressive.

This was a fantastic trip with a great guide Mohammad , although the Valley of the Kings was very busy we still got to see some amazing tombs. The only fly in the ointment was the trip to the alabaster workshop , we felt pressured to buy. I would ask your guide to avoid it if possible.

I had read reviews that mentioned customers had been disappointed that there was no felucca cruise. Our guide also wasn't aware that this was included so I suggest this is always clarified at the start. Our excellent guide Mohamed tailored the programme to our wishes so we skipped the alabaster workshop visit and enjoyed the felucca trip instead. He expertly navigated us through the crowds at the Valley of the Kings and provided an informative and entertaining narrative. Thank you Mohamed! :)

The trip was well organised with a good, well read guide. However, we did not have a felucca ride as expected. The details provided to us when I booked, did clearly say the felucca ride was included. I would have made a complaint immediately but had no WiFi available to me.

Very enjoyable and interesting trip. The felucca cruise was the only disappointment due to the lack of wind and it would have been better simply to cross the river by boat.

Ikram our guide was first class and explained everything that we need to know on the way, so we could understand what we were looking at when we got to Valley of the Kings etc. the boat ride was again really good.. would fully recommend at this tour.. the mini bus driver was great as well literally door to door at all of the sights.
