Coach on time. Good driver and pleasant guide who gave us history of verona on way there. Our local guideded walk was just enough and plenty of time free. We went on a very hot day 41 degrees so very glad for the air conditioned coach. Lovely stop in the morning to see verona views. Thank you rossetta and lucca.

.Enjoyed this trip because you were not expected to go with the city guide for a tour, which was great seeing as it was 40 degrees. We toured in our own time and managed to look at everything we needed to see. Verona was easy to get around without getting lost. TUI lady was lovely and very informative.

Verona was amazing- well worth a visit. Our driver and guide were brilliant- knowledgeable and friendly. We boarded in Riva and there were so many pick ups, it took us almost 2 hours to leave the lake. Our city guide was really difficult to understand due to her microphone position. We let her know but it only improved briefly. Disappointing but actually the best part of the day was the free time to explore the city. Overall a good trip slightly marred by all of the pick ups.

Great advice in terms of which sites to visit at what times to avoid too much of a queue. Appeared to have good knowledge of Verona, its history and the impact of people such as Dante, Dickens and Shakespeare. General advice on which cafes where expensive.

It was a great tour. We decided to opt and walk around ourselves and we got a lot more achieved and saw all the sites we wanted to and walked for ours - it was great to have the free time to explore ourselves. It would be nice in the future to consider doing an opera package. We would have loved to have been able to do that as well.

Lots of helpful info from Tui Guide Thomas. He made sure we got the most of the day in Verona. Verona Guided Tour brilliant with Aurora vert informative. Very hot so did not get to see everything. Arena Fabulous and the Vehicular to panoramic view a must. Inspired to go back maybe Spring for another look. Enough time was provided and good journey there and back.

This was a great trip in three parts; bus tour with commentary, a walking tour of about 1hour and 15 mins and free time of about 3.5 hours. The bus guide was knowledgeable and lighthearted and the tour guide was very informative without overloading you with details. Would recommend

Quite expensive for what was essentially a faster and more reliable way to get to Verona and back. The TUI guide and walking tour helped justify some of that cost, but compared to much longer or involved trips the price was a little high.

Thomas our guide was informative and entertaining. Verona is a beautiful city and as we had arrived there early we went into the arena with very little waiting time. Extremely hot that day so didn't see as much as we wanted to as it would have been exhausting. Will definitely come back for a long weekend in either early June or late autumn as there is so much to see.

An excellent excursion. Well planned with knowledgable guides, punctual transport and plenty to see. The trip was made extra memorable by our coach guide (Thomas) who delivered the days commentry with both knowledge and humour. Thomas ensured everyone was well informed on every aspect of the trip but also ensured everyone was smiling and laughing. A day to remember for all the right reasons.

The guide in the bus was fantastic, he was friendly , funny and very informative. The guide that did the walking tour wasn’t great, he had a lot of info, but just walked ahead and spoke into his mike. We thought Verona was a beautiful city with beautiful architecture and loved wandering around in our free trip me.

The guide Gabriella on coach was fabulous and dealt very well with the unfortunate traffic delay of 30 mins on motorway. The guide in Verona was quite difficult to hear, the av equipment not very good. He was not very enthusiastic either. Would be nice to know how long the coach journey was going to be given all the pick ups, ours was over 4 hour which was too long had we known.

Great information imparted by TUI rep on long journey from RIVA, in excess of 1 & 1/2 hrs. Guided walk was very efficient and very informative. City is beautiful, a mini Rome. Eateries and shopping advice was very good. I think the price is dear for a 2 hour walking tour.

The walk tour was great lots of info ! But we should be able to book a a lot for the Juliette house as accessing on the day is near impossible in limited time ! I think the arena and the house should be included in the tour

We set off from Riva, first pick up. Proceeded to drive around the lake making at least 10 stops and taking over 2 hours for a journey that if we went direct would be 1 hour. Same procedure on the return -approx 10 stops and 2+ hours on the coach, Riva the last drop. No opportunity for a toilet stop or stretch our legs. The guide lied to us and said return would be quicker - just over an hour and he knew we were based in Riva. Tour time stated 8hrs but was nearly 11 for us - very disappointed.

It was a very long coach trip. The tour guide was very good. Gabriella & the driver Gretal were excellent.they both tried to find ways around the heavy traffic. I felt the day was too long, the weather was 38-40 degrees & was difficult to walk around. I understand Tui can’t control the weather but our free time after the tour was too long. The guided tour was for an hour so we were very tired after that. We had over 3 hours free time which was far too much.

The city tour guide was excellent as was the guide on the coach. The city is beautiful but, for me personally, there was too much 'free time' - possibly because the weather is so hot at the moment so it wasn't pleasant walking around.

Thomas our guide was extremely helpful by recommending how to make the most of our time and see the best Verona had to offer. Whilst also being very entertaining, he was at all times professional. The walking guides were very knowledgeable and at just over 1 hour also allowed us enough time for lunch and exploring on our own. Well priced for a great day out.

Pick up on time. Tui rep Thomas excellent on board gave us maps and pinpointed places of interest for when we had free time. Got us to our rendezvous point to meet the tour guide with plenty of time to visit the Arena. Tour guide was very knowledgeable of the city and excellent about the history. Lots of walking involved and with the extreme heat can be quite telling especially with people of a disability which was pointed out before we booked the trip

Firstly thank you Francesco, a great guide and knowledge and passion outstanding. The tour for some maybe a too much, the time we had for ourselves, we struggled to keep in the shade spending a large amount under the trees in the Amphitheatre square. Struggled to get a good view of Juliets balcony due to the tick tockers. Poor old Romeo only as a wall to remember him by. Its full on walking so any mobility issues could be a problem.

Rory our TUI rep greeted us and made sure we knew where to get the coach. Gabrielle our guide told us about places of interest on route to Verona and when we were in Verona. She also made sure we met up with our local tour guide Leonardo who gave us a live audio tour of the main sights and history of Verona. He also made sure we was in the shade when we stopped at places of interest. Overall the day was value for money and one I would recommend to others.

Excellent guide and driver. We loved the history, Information, light humour on the coach approaching Verona and on the walking g tour. We stopped just outside Verona at a service station to use the bathroom to save having to do that on arrival. On arrival we had an hour to gave a coffee or visit the arena before the 1 hour walking tour commenced. I had the best meatballs I've ever eaten at Due Mori Osteria, highly recommend giving them a try.

The cost of this tour was not justified for what was involved. The walking tour started an hour after we arrived, then the agency guide spoke with such accented English and the volume through the ear pieces was so low, we gave up trying to understand him. All entrance fees to places of interest were extra. We could have just used a local bus and with a street map had a better day at a fraction of the cost. Verona is lovely, the tour? Sorry just very poor and NOT value for money.

I did not like spending 1hr and 45 mins picking up other guests and being further from verona then than I was at the start. Then just when we were finally going to verona we had a service station stop. We finally reached verona some 2hrs and 50 mins after being picked up . Not really acceptable The time actually spent in verona was fine

The journey was long, which meant only 5 hours in the city. A boat trip was offered at an extra 26 euros each, which we did because there was a mention of Murano, Burano and Torchello. However, it was very disappointing, because the boat actually went to the back of one of the islands, where there is a metal scrap heap, we saw the front of Lido (not very interesting), a mental asylum and the old unused docks. Loosing time in Venice to take this journey out was a complete waste of time!

We enjoyed the day trip. Only annoying thing was having to walk a quarter of a mile in drizzling rain from our hotel, The Park Hotel, to be picked up at The Villa Rosa hotel. Nobody else was picked up at that hotel, then the bus went passed our hotel.

Great day out although quite a lengthy bus trip from Malcesine. The city is beautiful and very historical; combine this with a large selection of bars/ cafes and the friendliness of the people it was a trip not to be missed. Do note it gets very tourist busy - see a crowd and go the other way.

Starting from Riva, we were one of the first pick ups and last drop offs so it was about an 11 hour day, however Tomas kept the bus journey lively. The guide on our walking tour was great and as someone who uses crutches, there were plenty of stops to break up the walking. Lots to see and do during free time. My National Disability card got us free entry into the Arena and Church. Great trip.

Enjoyed visiting Verona, it’s a beautiful city and glad we went. Felt the trip was slightly expensive however we had thought of traveling by local bus ourselves but decided we would rather have an organized trip. Driver was excellent and dropped us back at our hotel as it was raining. The guide on our coach was excellent and the guided tour of Verona was very good. Timings were spot on and we enjoyed lots of free time before leaving. All in all it was a good well organized trip.

So easy to book through Rory our rep. He was there on morning to make sure we got on correct coach. Gabriella was very good and shared lots of local information on coach, local guide was very good. Glad we did a guided tour rather than try to do our own of wandering around verona with no guide. Just perfect time to shop and eat after tour too would definitely recommend

Enjoyed the knowledge of the guides, expensive for what it was and how was too long. Bus could have taken us closer into the city.

We enjoyed the day overall. The day was perhaps a little long, we could have done this trip ourselves easily enough but we wanted the guided tour, which we had for 1 hour. However we then had a further 4 hours in Verona. There is not that much more to do in Verona for 4 hours.

The day was too long and could be cut short by 2 hours. From noon until 4.00 we had free time, however, having just done the walking tour in the heat 4 hours was far too long. The guides were excellent and gave lots of tips for basic things like finding toilets, drinks etc.

A very enjoyable day out. The walking guide around verona was informative whilst keeping it fun. Only improvement would be slightly less talking on the coach. A excellent day out and would recommend.

The tour guide, Gabriella on the coach was informative during the journey to Verona. The lady coach driver was very good as was the tour guide in Verona. I was a bit disappointed not to be able to visit Juliette’s house as I believe it all has to be prebooked now, so I maybe could have done that if I had known beforehand. We were collected & returned at times stated, so overall a good trip.

Really enjoyed Verona lott of architecture to see didnt expect to see an ampithearter ,guide was excellent give a very good insight into history of Verona could hear and understand her very well free time to explore was enough time to visit some places and get something to eat and drink, enjoyed it that much going back to visit again

The trip was enjoyable and respected the schedule. Despite poring rain, we found the trip interesting. What I didn't like was the arrival in Verona. We arrived in Bra Square at 10 am. Our guide, Francesco, informed us that we have free time until 11am, when the guided tour will start. We didn't get the one hour wait. It wasn't long enough to do anything, therefore why we didn't stat the tour at 10.00, finish the guided tour earlier and allow for more free time.

Guide on bus poor could not hear her she also mumbled and had no structure to her talk. There was far to many peoplefor one guide,she walked away in frint of the group and because of the numbers was difficult to spot her.Eventually she split the group into two with different guides. We left the group as did many other people.Because of the numbers we could not hear.

It rained all day and the guide wasn’t very good we didn’t do much of the tour because it was too big and crowded and couldn’t hear her.

As large group we split into 2 smaller groups for city tour which was good. Guide gave out earphones etc so was very easy to hear and really informative and good fun. Only issue was it rained hard all day but nothing could be done about that 😄
