I loved the tour of the Troodos Mountains. It was great to see the beautiful landscape. I enjoyed visiting Kykkos Monastery as it is such a beautiful place to see. However, I would have liked longer at the Monastery and a chance to visit the gift shop near the monastery which seemed to have a greater selection of items than the shop we went to. Further, it would have been interesting if the Guide had talked about Platres connection with England through the author Daphne Du Maurier.

The trip to the monastery was beautiful and we enjoyed listening to Liza. What we didn't enjoy was the lunch Chicken thighs , very little meat, the veg was hard and cold with 2 massive unsliced potatoes, warm macaroni bolognaise , massive portion and stodgy. The restaurant was freezing ( most went back to the coach for warmth. The 2 coffee stops, disappointing, cramped and limited toilet facilities. We would suggest 1 good hotel with a salad lunch , desert and coffeee etc in the warm. ,

It seemed senseless to rate the above, and difficult to isolate your points Overall the trip was good. The driver, who needs to be mentioned was brilliant! Coffee stop enroute was chaotic, using one coffee machine. Suggestion: as they knew we were coming, they could have arranged insulated coffee flasks. Guide could have hectored us less on the Greek language, and given more info. Lunch was awful! Faulty towers but with horrid cold food. I couldn't eat it, and was not alone. How disappointing.

Kompetente Reiseleitung mit vielen interessanten Informationen, guter Busfahrer, etwas mehr Beinfreiheit in diesem Bus 2 Kaffeepausen ( 1 im Preis incl.) ziehen die Fahrt unnötig in die Länge: Kaffee und Tee eher schlecht Für Toilettenpausen müsste eine andere Lösung gefunden werden. Das Mittagessen war eigentlich ok Insgesamt ein lohnender Ausflug mit viel Landschaft, einem beeindruckenden Kloster und dem Grab von Makarios

Our guide and driver were great. Lunch was very disappointing. Cold food and very cold restaurant. The first coffee stop was cold too but nice coffee ( we asked for Americano coffees which they made from the mashing The last drinks stop the cafe very nice but poor drinks. Instant coffee

You spend a decent amount of time on the coach and being mountainous the roads are narrow and windy so if you are a poor traveller it's not for you. Our trip was made more bearable by the excellent guide who had great knowledge. The views are superb and I would recommend this trip.

Beschreibung passt nicht auf Tour: 30 Minuten im Kloster, 30 Minuten am Berg - beides Freizeit! Mittagessen SINNLOSE 90 Minuten, Kaffeepause sinnlose 30 Minuten, gleich zu Beginn Kaffeepause 30 Minuten außerhalb des Planes - der Rest des Tages im Bus! Auch wenn die Landschaft schön ist - der Beschreibung nach haben wir schon etwas ganz Anderes erwartet. Schade um 8 Stunden unseres Urlaubs. Besser mit privater Tour!

The scenery in the mountains was amazing and thoroughly enjoyed. The visit to the monastery was the highlight of the trip but we only spent an hour there and then the next stop at the Tomb was only half an hour. This felt disappointing against one and a half hour lunch with another drink stop half an hour later. Maybe the timings had gone wrong as initially we were refused entry to the bus by the tour guide as she had made an error and then had to return the whole bus to collect us later.

The tour did not get off to a good start. Our friends were left by the pick up point and told by the Tour Guide, Lisa, to get on another bus! They were eventually collected by our bus! The highlight of the tour was the monastery - we had an hour to see it all. We had 30 minutes to visit the tomb of Archbishop Makarios III and yet 90 minutes for a poor lunch! 30 minutes after lunch we had a further cafe stop. Scenery was fantastic. Guide wasn’t approachable or friendly. Overall very disappointing

I have visited the Kykkos Monastery , and quite a lot of time is required to see all the artifacts. We spent so much time driving around hills and mountains ( about 65% of the time ) that once the time for lunch was taken out , there was very little time to look around the monestry , let alone its museum . Our first stop for refreshments was a shock , you have to pay , and the stop is short. Due to the amount of driving some people were becoming travel sick. Too much emphasis on the hills

My wife is Russian Othodox and found the experience very spiritual and enlightening. Only slight negative comment is that the rep on the coach kept passing around pictures and stones most of which bore no relevance to the tour. Other than that she was very good and we had a wonderful time. My wife was upset at times with people laughing and joking in the monastery, it's against her religion.

Är du väldigt intresserad av religion är detta en plats för dig men om du är en mer ”vanlig turist” så är detta bara en långdragen resa med buss. 6 timmar i buss med få snabba stopp endast för kaffe och lunch samt ett stopp om en timme vid själva resans främsta föremål, Kykkos kloster, där guiden inte gav oss särskild information alls om historien kring det. Bussens ljudsystem var också väldigt dåligt och guiden pratade främst enbart om träd och andra växter i skogen vi passerade. Missn

The visit to Kykkos Monastery was lovely as was the visit the hilltop tomb of Archbishop Makarios III, however we had so little time at both places just under 1 hour at the monastery and 20 mins at the hilltop tomb which was in no way long enough to fully see and experience both places. The overall journey had stunning views but the coach was dated, scruffy not very clean with air con that didn't really work making the journey stuffy hot and uncomfortable.

Trip to Kykkos was lovely. Very good coach driver extremely confidently and obviously used to driving very carefully on mountain roads. The guide certainly knew her stuff and was very informative and pleasant. Only criticism is it would have been good to have a little more time at the monastery to wander freely. Quite a few people commented on this however the stops and breaks at restaurants were nice and it was good to know we were giving some business to local people. All in all very good

De excursie was erg leuk met stop in Panagia met de Frida Kahlo prenten en mooie tegels. Het Kykkos klooster was indrukwekkend alleen wat weinig tijd om echt het hele klooster te bekijken, zou mininmaal 1,5 uur moeten zijn, zodat de lunch wat korter kan. De gids, Liza met een Z, was erg enthousiast en weet veel te vertellen van Cyprus over veel verschillende onderwerpen, religie, middelen van bestaan en sociale leven. De busreis was soms wel uitdagend op de bochtige weggetjes. Geslaagde dag.

The overall experience was very good. However the food was acceptable but not exceptional. The coffee was poor. Time was difficult and I felt as if another 15 minutes could have been made available to allow visitors to engage with the monastery and resting place of the Arch Bishop Makarios.

de tijd was niet goed ingedeeld . Te lang voor eten en 2 koffie stops die naar ons idee niet nodig zijn . De eerste stop was een limonade stop , snap dat de lokale mensen geholpen moeten worden maar om nu voor het ontbijt van de gids en chauffeur een half uur te stoppen ,vreemd Het klooster waar we maar een uur kregen en waarvan de reisleidster ook nog eens een half uur uitleg gaf. het eten duurt op zijn langst een half uur en waar we 1,5 voor kregen.dan nog een koffie stop na 40 min na eten

We had an excellent day ...there was plenty of time at each stop the food or lunch was a buffet with plenty of choice..our guide Liza was very knowledgeable and informative....our driver was incredible .....be mindful that the drive into the mountains is through very windy roads and anyone who suffers with motion sickness may be affected... travel sickness tablets may be required ...can highly recommend.

Having worked in Cyprus 28 years ago, it was a great ride down memory lane, the guide Liza "with a Z"" was incredible, informative, humorous and very glamorous. Well paced day although last drink stop felt a little unnecessary as we just goy off the bus, drank a drink and got back on the bus, the village was inanimate. Also huge shout out to Pierre-is the driver, was also a great character, very diligent in his driving and he is to be praised too.

Super mooie tour, lange busrit maar daar geeft de gids een leuke swing aan met haar verhaal. Heel interessant. Het bezoek aan het klooster mocht iets langer duren van ons . De stops waren ook heel goed en leuke lokale plaatsen. Middageten ook heel lekker. Zou ik iedereen aanraden die van cultuur houd . Bus stopt ook op foto’s te nemen op mooie plaatsen.

Our driver Christophe was excellent driving around the hairpin bends in the mountains. Our courier, Nef, was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the trip. At the first stop she arranged return transport for a couple not feeling well and kept in touch until confirmed that they had been collected. A good team on this trip. Thank you.

This was a wonderful trip from start to finish. Guide very good and informative as was the coach driver who drove very carefully around all the hair pin bends. Stopped at a lovely little Frida Kahlo themed coffee shop in the mountains en route. The monastery was inspiring and beautiful. The buffet lunch provided at a local restaurant was excellent and there was also a souvenir shop next door. We had another short stop for tea or coffee on the way back.I would highly recommend this tour.Thank you

Het was heel mooi en heel indrukwekkend. Je zit wel lang in de bus als je last heb van wagenziekte neem dan maatregelen vooraf zijn heel veel bochten op de route

The coach was very poor quality, the seats moved, some were stuck in the laid back position, the air conditioning wa very poor. The hammers for smashing the glass were just hanging. The price of the trip in would expect a better quality coach

Gids is een zeer kordate dame met veel kennis over de onderwerpen mbt de excursie. Haar decennialange ervaring zorgt dat alles goed en interessant verloopt!

Prachtig mooie uitzichten over de valleien van Troodos. Let wel: lange tijd flinke haarspeldbochten. Niet voor mensen met wagenziekte. Klooster was prachtig met gouden mozaïeken en architectuur. Zeker de moeite waard heen te gaan. De gids vond vooral zichzelf erg grappig, en vergat ons (meerdere stellen gesproken) de juiste route naar boven te vertellen waardoor we het belangrijkste bovenaan de heuvel hebben gemist.

Beautiful scenery and knowledgeable guide. Meal provided was excellent. Only drawback for me as an older person was at the monument I was unable to get up to the top to see it fully as very steep walkway. Other than that was an amazing day.

De tour was de moeite waard. Veel gezien, onderweg weinig stops voor foto's. Kort tijd om zelf even te wandelen door de dorpjes. Lunch was goed.

Both our tour guide & driver were excellent. Mum and a couple of guests had mobility issues and the driver ensured the steps were lowered. And the both helped a couple of ladies who had worse issues than mum. Local guide Nick was brilliant, his knowledge & passion was outstanding Had read some reviews re lack of drink but we had stops for drinks and took water with us. Lunch was good quality

We had a fantastic and fun and interesting tour. the guide was fantastic, super helpful, cool , informative, skilled, knowledgeable and making people feel relaxed, smile and happy… the visit to the monastery was very interesting and to the the grave of Makarios. Such beautiful and unique places. The landscape in the mountains and surrounding the small villages was stunning and beautiful. Cyprus is beautiful and very organized and well maintained everywhere. We love it.
