The activity is all about safety first, so you'll keep a safe distance from the volcano at all times
You'll see the 2021 crater and lava flows up close and hear about the eruption from your guide

2021 saw the creation of a new volcanic crater near La Palma. The volcano previously known as Cumbre Vieja erupted, completely changing the landscape west of the city. Hiking 6.5km on the newly christened Tajogaite – cracked mountain – you'll almost reach the crater. From here, awesome views of the lava flows and the Aridane Valley open up.

Excellent
Einfach eine runde Sache. Die Wanderung zum Tajogaite. Es hat einfach Spaß gemacht. Der Guide Romero war super, ist auf alles was er gefragt wurde eingegangen und ist einfach super sympathisch. Die Wanderung war einfach ein Erlebnis. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen. VG Jürgen Frieser

Die Tour ist ein Highlight und aus meiner Sicht ein "Muss" für jeden La Palma Besucher. Die Guides von islabonita tours sind sehr kompetent, freundlich und können den Teilnehmern die Natur La Palmas und speziell den Vulkan sehr nahe bringen! Die Organisation von TUI ist miserabel. Auf der Website waren Tag, Uhrzeit und Treffpunkt falsch angegeben. Erst auf energische Nachfrage wurde der Treffpunkt korrigiert. Tag und Uhrzeit konnten nur durch Islabonita Tours in Erfahrung gebracht werden.
