Whether you're a fan of Bob Marley or just want to see the real Jamaica, this one's a must. There's a trip to the music legend's home and burial place and a delicious lunch at a jerk restaurant too.You'll start with a scenic drive through St. Ann. Known as the ‘garden parish' it's a beautiful area of lush mountains and villages. Climbing up the slopes, you'll head for Nine Miles, the village where Marley was born in 1945. Here, you'll visit his old home, which is now a museum. Wander round viewing the memorabilia as your Rasta guide offers snippets about the reggae king's life before visiting the mausoleum where the musician is laid to rest.After paying your respects, you'll end the afternoon with a tasty local lunch at Scotchies Jerk Centre – voted by Trip Advisor as one of the top things to do in Jamaica.

Der Pick up erfolgte fast 30 Minuten verspätet und der Halt nach kurzer Fahrt an einem Hinterhof-Souvenirladen war ärgerlich. Nine Miles war zu touristisch und nur begrenzt informativ. Die Fahrt durch die Berge war lang, aber sehenswert.

Der Ort selber ist zu einem überaus kommerziellen und weit vom ursprünglichen Gedanken-letzte RUHESTÄTTE von Bob Marley- weg weiter „entwickelt“, das heisst meiner Meinung nach eher entfremdet und verdorben. Vor 20 Jahren war es noch das, was es sein sollte: friedlich und „natural Mystic“, im Sinne von Bob. Schade

Die manchmal halsbrecherische Fahrt durch die Berge war ein besonderes Erlebnis, Captain Crazy, unser Guide in Nine Miles auch. Es war sehr interessant, was wir über Bob Marley und die Rastafaris erfuhren. Nur das Essen auf der Rückfahrt war nicht ganz so toll.

Transfer super. Pünktlich, zuverlässig, sichere Fahrer. Guides: Sehr freundlich, zuverlässig und auch sehr offen Tour: sehr intressant, die Menschen versuchen natürlich zu verkaufen, sind aber in keinsterweise aufdringlich. Die Guides vor Ort sind sehr freundlich auch etwas verrückt aber auf eine sehr liebenswerte weise. Sie haben auch viel Humor, es gibt auch immer was zu lachen. Das Mosoleum ist sehr eindrucksvoll allgemein sehr schön gemacht. Uns hat es sehr gefallen. Ps. Smoking Tour??

Ein wirkliches Erlebnis in mehrererlei Hinsicht. Fahrt, Landschaft, Straßen und Dörfer, und natürlich das Bob Marley Haus mit allem drum und drann!!
