Un autentico assaggio di Cipro vi attende in questo tour attraverso le regioni basse dei Monti Troodos, dove il cibo è una pietra miliare della cultura locale. Si mangerà di villaggio in villaggio, visitando Agros e Arakapas, oltre a Odou per assaggiare il miele locale.Partendo da Ayia Napa, il viaggio inizia a Palaichori con una breve sosta nel villaggio, dove vedrete in azione il caloroso saluto cipriota del kopiaste (vieni a trovarci), per poi proseguire verso Agros per assaggiare i suoi famosi dolci al cucchiaio fatti in casa, a base di frutta conservata nello sciroppo.Pranzo tipico cipriota in una taverna tradizionale di Arakapas, prima di concludere la giornata a Odou, dove vi immergerete nel dolce mondo del miele presso l'apicoltore e produttore di miele a conduzione familiare Oros Machairas. Vi sarà una breve lezione sull'arte della produzione e la possibilità di assaggiare l'"oro liquido" appena raccolto, con molte opzioni di souvenir legati alle api da prendere al volo, prima di tornare al vostro resort.

Tour guide was brilliant, very knowledgeable. Very comfortable vehicle and safe driver. Lunch was a very authentic experience. Felt we could have had longer at the Honey tasting experience but overall was a top day out, thank you.

Turen var en meget veltilrettelagt tur med en informativ guide, som ikke blot fortalte konkret om de lokale virksomhedsbesøg, men også om øens opdeling, uddannelse, mytologi, øens plante/dyreliv, bjergene osv. Hun informerede om alt vi så på vores vej, hvilket gjorde at oplevede øen på en ny måde. Desuden var det rart at det var en lille flok i en minibus. De 3 små virksomhedsbesøg var af passende længde.

Nice hotel and staff Negatives would be, the flight over was freezing, I did ask a crew member if they could turn the heating up a bit and she answered that she was actually warm as she was working??? Being a holiday flight it was strange as both of us ended up with colds. We didn’t get to the hotel until midnight and the hotel was keen to get us checked in quickly so no information we only found out on the third day that you could also order food from a menu and the cabanas were foc
