Sie stechen in See und kommen gerade rechtzeitig für eine geführte Stadtrundfahrt und einen kurzen Halt an einem Aussichtspunkt, um die wichtigen Fotos von Marmaris zu schießen. Anschließend machen Sie sich auf den Weg zu den örtlichen Gold- und Lederzentren, wo Sie Ihre Feilschkünste unter Beweis stellen können.Dann geht es in die Altstadt, wo Sie genügend Zeit haben, die verwinkelten Gassen und den riesigen Basar zu erkunden. Der Basar ist vollgepackt mit Schnäppchen und der passende Ort, um Souvenirs mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Und keine Reise in die Türkei wäre vollständig ohne die Möglichkeit, einige lokale Köstlichkeiten zu probieren, wie z. B. türkische Köstlichkeiten oder traditionellen Tee. Nach all der Aufregung können Sie am späten Nachmittag eine entspannte Bootsfahrt zurück nach Rhodos unternehmen.

i was not made aware of which coach/number i was going to be put on when we left to go to the port so i ended up getting the wrong coach only to be told by the tui rep that we missedthe coach!! Bit chaotic at the port b4 travelling to turkey,but once there very nice guide and generally better organised for the return journey

It was extremely confusing getting on the coach at our pick up point in the morning, it was just sheer luck that we got on the coach at.The pickup point was across a busy road from where I’d be told , it wasn’t obvious it was for a Tiu excursion, we had to ask each driver that looked like it was our excursion.I do think a Tui rep would be helpful here , the excursion was expensive. Apart from that , it was well organised, and good. Our guide on the coach was fantastic

We really enjoyed the knowledgeable tour guide and helpful reps, but the meeting point in Marmaris is clearly a place where kickbacks are happening as the replica clothing was almost double the price of elsewhere in the same bazaar with very pushy salesmen.

The guide in Marmaris was great, gave us a lot of information on the history of the area. The gold centre was good but the hard sell in the bazaar (where drop off & pick up was from) spoiled it & were kept there so long that we didn’t get a chance to see much else of Marmaris & I dreaded going back to the meeting place.

The trip was enjoyable and overall a great experience of a different culture. Marmaris is a beautiful place to visit. I would've liked more free time and less time at the gold jewellers where the aim was clearly to sell to a captive audience

Stop at expensive jewelry shop, completely pointless. How much are TUI being paid for this stop? Meeting point is inside a store within the Grand Bazaar, anyone with any common sense can tell you what happens next. Don't believe the lie "they won't pressure you to buy anything". How much are TUI being paid for this? Should you wish to do this tour, my advice is ignore the rep and walk around the old town, visiting the castle and stopping at one of the small cafes for a drink & bite to eat.

Smooth trip & well organised transport. Free time in Turkey was the right amount - long enough to shop but not too long. Enjoy the trip overall but didn’t like being forced to visit the gold centre as wasn’t listed on the trip and felt like it was just a ploy to get us to buy stuff we didn’t book for. Waste of time we could’ve spent doing things we actually wanted to. Turkish delight place was at least interesting but again just sell sell sell.

When booking online just make sure you have all the correct information and details as we nearly missed the trip as the trip didn't go on a Saturday but on a Thursday from plimmiri luckily we spoke to the rep on site who managed to get the both of us onto the trip. This happened to other people who also booked online ?? this needs to be sorted out.

The trip to Marmaris was a delight. From hotel pick up to hotel drop off it was well executed and TUI reps stayed with the party except for the free time. The best part were the people. So friendly. Our guide , Jem, was superb and seemed very knowledgeable about what he was showing us. Also it gave us a very positive impression of Turkey and Marmaris in particular, so maybe this will be on the ‘to go’ list now.

loved the Turkish delight factory the guy was great, wasn't too keen on gold factory everything abit too pricey. Would of liked alittle longer free time to shop, hated the catamaran it's 2nd time doing this trip & both times been sea sick on way back & not only me a few others were too & alot felt it.

This was amazing. Would recommend this to anyone looking to have a different, but fantastic day out. My partner and I ended up spending an extra hour in the gold & diamond shop, our tour guide made arrangements for a car to catch up with the rest of the group free of charge as we purchased our goodies. Take lots of piggybank money because the shopping is phenomenal, really good atmosphere. Be prepared you’ll get swarmed by the Turkish sellers but were respectful enough when declined. Great day.

We enjoyed the Turkish delights shop. We did not like the discount shop. The workers were super aggressive and the amount of back and forth with them not wanting to advise you of the price of items was ridiculous. If you touch something they put it atthe cash for you without confirming you even want it. They keep telling you they will make a deal once you decide on the items you want. It got to the point where you didn't even look at things because they were so aggressive.

Guide was from Marmaris so has great local knowledge which I loved. Small excursion around Marmaris were nice but were not there very long or very big places. The market was horrible. We were harassed by everyone that we walked passed. We also didn’t know we could use Euros in that part of Turkey until our guide told us.

Enjoyed the tour of the town, knowledgeable and informative. Marmaris bay is pretty and good for a stroll. Did not enjoy, lack of information, waiting around a lot, major focus on retail (gold shop, Turkish delight shop, clothes shop as meeting place) lots of tourist focussed ‘best price’ nonsense. If had known that this was the focus may not have booked. TUI rep argued with the return driver in person then over the phone whilst in transit. Very unprofessional

Marmaris is a stunningly beautiful place and the views are amazing. The Turkish people are very friendly but love to haggle and you'll end up buying more than you thought you wanted if you're not careful but still a great experience.

Coach pick ups from hotel & return, ferry crossings, tour guides, coach tour of Marmaris and the amount of free time were all good. We also liked the coach stop overlooking Icmelir, and the visit to the turkish delight making factory. The Turkish male tour guide was particulary good due to his knowledge if the area and Turkey in general. We didnt like the coach stop at the jewellery making factory where we felt pressured by the male staff, who were hovering around us, into buying something.

Marmaris was absolutely beautiful, we had plenty of time and the guide was good. There could have been a few more interesting stops and a little more information about Marmaris but we still really enjoyed the day. The sea was very rough on the way back to Rhodes which was no one’s fault but did make the return journey very unpleasant. It’s worth bearing in mind that it’s a small ferry and this trip is better attempted on a still day.

Don't like a long waiting for ferry. In Turkey was very long queue at customs. But otherwise everything was nice. Free tome in Marmaris was enough.

Overall the trip was enjoyable. However, the boat was over an hour late on the way out and there was no clear guidance as to which was to queue to get on the boat. On the return, passport control was a nightmare with huge queues. Spend ages queuing in a line only to be told I had to join another and queue all over again as I needed my passport stamped (the was no sign on the desk indicating it was EU only). Those elements spoiled the trip.

Overall it was a well organised trip. From being on time at collection point to organising the handing out of ferry boarding cards at the port. The stop offs in Marmaris were interesting as I’ve never been to Turkey before. The guide,Gem if I remember his name correctly,was excellent and informative.Even telling how easy it is to buy property in Turkey. Only downside was the customs coming back into Rhodes. Everyone raced off the ferry then tried to cram through a single doorway to get through passport control with only two officers working.Not TUIs fault,just a lack of organisation on the Greeks side. Interesting and value for money trip

This trip seemed purely to push us into buying...Turkish delight shop...you buy buy buy....gold shop...hounding us to buy buy buy and following us around the shop begging for custom and the the drop off point paradise clothes in bazarre...the tour guide took us in...Sat us all down and again had a sales pitch to buy buy buy....feel the guide must get a cut from these shops!
