Some of the Algarve's hardest-to-reach areas are in the spotlight on this scenic day tour. Your adventure kicks off in Porches at a pottery workshop where you can see traditional crafting techniques. From here, you'll make a few quick stops at Praia da Marinha, Benagil and Algar Seco, to see the different cliff and rock formations there. Then, you'll visit the fishing village of Ferragudo. Here, you'll have plenty of free time for lunch at the harbour, before ending the day with a wine-tasting session.

Had 2 excellent drivers who kept us well entertained and were very informative about the areas we passed thro. Pottery well worth a visit, bit pricey. Wine tasting was great fun. The guide took us through processing we tried 3 lovely wines. Lovely day out. Had a nice lunch in Lagoa not included in price but restful and relaxing.

Een heel plezierige dagtocht. Complimenten voor de gids/chauffeur Ton die heel veel vertelde en ons prachtige dingen heeft laten zien. De aansluitende wijnproeverij ook heel leuk.

Felt slightly rushed with only 20 minutes photos stops no lunch included in price when other excursions of similar price included lunch. Felt safe with tour guide who had a good sense of humour and knowledge of the area . Pottery visit was more like a visit to gift shop would of been nice to have had a talk about the process and history .

Bei der Abholung war etwas die Zeit durcheinander und wir wurden als Holländer aufgenommen, nachdem geklärt war das wir deutsch sind ging es los. Der Guide konnte nur etwas deutsch sprechen was schade war, denn eine andere Gruppe hat einen deutsch sprachigen Guide abbekommen, wo kein Deutscher dabei war. Die Weinverkostung war gut und es wurde auch über die Region gesprochen. Wir hätten uns mehr Zeit an den Aussichtspunkten gewünscht da es da wirklich schön war, ansonsten gelungen.

De pottery was niet echt ons ding maar de kliffen waren echt geweldig. De wijnproeverij was ook gezellig en leerzaam. Al met al een geweldig leuke dag met super leuke gidsen.

The smaller group, made it a friendlier experience than the bus tour I went on previously. There were more (shorter) stops so less time waiting around. The coast was beautiful and the wine-tasting great fun. Guide very knowledgeable

Mit dem Jeep unterwegs zu sein ist ein Abenteuer, für Leute mit körperlichen Einschränkungen nicht geeignet. Bei uns fand man eine gute Lösung, wir konnten in einem Bus umsteigen. Vieles wurde nicht in Deutsch erklärt, schade. Aber sonst okay.

Gibt es nichts auszusetzen, es sollten alle Touren so sein, das auch deutsch gesprochen wird. Dann bekommt man viel mit vom Land. Der Tourgide Michael war einfach klasse ????

Keramiek was mooi om te zien, maar redelijk prijzig want handgemaakt. De grotten is eigenlijk maar 1 kleinere grot, maar wel leuke trapjes tussen gebergte. Uitzicht kliffen was erg mooi. We raden het uitstapje Kliffen van Algarve over Land en Zee zeer aan, dan ga je bij deze kliffen verder wandelen. De wijnproeverij was leuk, maar vooral door enthousiasme van de werknemer daar. Gids van de dag was Ricardo en die deed het top. Erg vriendelijk en wist veel. Aanrader!

The tour was very good value for money our guide Tom was very knowledgeable, polite and courteous at all times. He is a credit to the company who he works for. We were not rushed at all between stops and it was a really nice day.

Im Großen und Ganzen war die Tour gut , das einzige was mich störte war: ich hatte extra auf deutsch gebucht und unser Guide konnte keins :) Allerdings wenn man etwas englisch kann, reicht es auch, auch für die Wein Probe , die Mitarbeiter waren echt sehr bemüht. Alles in einem war das ein schöner Tag

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Tag. Unser Guide Michael hat die Tour mit sehr viel Witz und Humor aber auch unendlichen vielen Informationen rund um Land und Leute geleitet. Auch wir wissen jetzt wie der portugiesische Präsident heißt :) An den verschiedenen Haltepunkten war genügend Zeit um die Gegend etwas zu erkunden und sich in Ruhe umzuschauen. Der Besuch in der Töpferei war sehr interessant. Abgerundet wurde dieser tolle Tag dann von der Weinprobe. Diese Tour können wir nur empfehlen.

De zon's ondergang was perfect het eten was eenvoudig maar goed. Het zitten in de Jeep is voor langere personen iet wat ongemakkelijk. Wat de indruk wekt dat het een beetje onbesuisd gaat.

Der Guide hat sich in allen Punkten sehr bemüht und er war sehr kompetent: Er sprach langsames und klares Englisch, damit ihn alle verstehen konnten. Er hat während der Fahrt Vieles erklärt. Er hat mir die Fahrt überhaupt erst ermöglicht, indem er mir (stark gehbehindert) in den Bus hinein und heraus geholfen hat. Sehr interessante Ziele!

Wij zochten een wat kleinschaliger excursie en dit was perfect. Kleine bus (gezelschap van 6 personen) met een geweldige chauffeur/gids (Oscar). Hij heeft ons heel veel laten zien en nam alle tijd voor uitleg en het laten maken van foto's. Kortom: een top excursie!!

Très jolie site et notre guide était agréable et parlait français, un peu onéreux je trouve par rapport à ce qui est annoncé, par exemple, visite de la Poterie, je m'attendais a apprendre et voir tout le processus mais finalement juste une visite à la boutique qui est magnifique par ailleurs.

We felt we saw alot of things that we wouldnt have otherwise. Particularly because our tour guide, Michael, was fantastic - really informative and interesting. The wines were nice and reasonably priced. Only downside is that there were ALOT of steps and we had asked when booking were there many only to be told no.

Guide Michael (Portugiese - aber Muttersprache Deutsch!!!), lebt in dr Gegend, kennt sich aus und kann viel erzählen. Sehr schöne Locations gezeigt, viel erklärt und toll geführt!. Gruppe von 5 Personen + VW-Bus, war sehr angenehm!

Der Guide Michael war prima. Er hat sehr viel erzählt, war sehr unterhaltsam und hat viel Wissen über Land und Leute, Flora etc. auf lustige Art vermittelt. Er war stets sehr aufmerksam, hat älteren Leuten geholfen und hat den Kleinbus sehr sicher gefahren. Bei der Weinprobe hätte es vielleicht 2 Weine mehr in der Verkostung geben können. Lieber kleinere Probiermengen pro Wein, dafür mehr Weine. Ansonsten war die Tour prima.

Abholen und Zurückbringen waren einwandfrei. Der Fahrer/Guide sprach deutsch, da er als Portugiese in Deutschland geboren und aufgewachsen war. Er hatte ein umfassendes Wissen und hat uns während der Fahrtabschnitte sehr gut unterhalten. Die erste Station an einer Töpferei hätte ich nicht gebraucht. Die Küstenhalte mit jeweils 20 Minuten zum sich umsehen / etwas zu laufen waren toll. Von der Weinprobe hatte ich mir mehr erwartet. Es gab n3 Proben: weiß, rosé und rot mit etwas Brot und Öl dazu.

Dit hotel/appartement is fantastisch. Alles spic en span , dagelijks schoonmaken, dagelijks schone handdoeken. Alleen dit jaar een paar minpuntjes: De buitenkant van het hotel werd geschilderd. Steigers ervoor. Het zwembad was leeg, ook hier onderhoud. ‘s-Morgens het nodige lawaai van geboor. Maar ja, deze werkzaamheden moeten natuurlijk wel gebeuren.

Brilliant day from start to finish, more time in the village would have been good, Lois our guide was great if I’m being really picky then the vehicle could do with an update Those with walking issues this is not a great one for you a lot of uneven ground and steep terrain

Peter, our guide, was very knowledgeable and spoke Dutch, German and English during the 4 stops. I would warn that we were in a 9-seater minibus with aircon, rather than a coach. The tour included walking uphill and many steps, so not ideal for those with walking issues. The tour itself was good if you like caves and sea views, although no chance to go down to the beaches. The pottery stop was lovely to see, but expensive. The winery was good and we did buy two bottles for 20€!

Eine Höhle ist wie die andere… Wir haben mehr Zeit im Auto verbracht als Zeit für Sightseeing war. Der Guide und das Auto waren toll, deswegen auch die hohe Bewertung. Nocheinmal würden wir es nicht machen.

Enjoyed towns and Fado performance. Was not aware the markets we visited were to be the Fish and Veg market. Most guests were all inclusive so could not buy products. The Fish market was cleaning down by the time we got there. It was a pleasant trip but not as enjoyable as the other 3 we did

Der Guide/Fahrer war super nett und hat uns einiges von Land und Leute erzählt. Als erstes haben wir die Porzellanmanufaktur angefahren. Es wird noch händisch vor Ort bemalt, aber das Porzellan selbst kommt aus China. Sonst war es ein reiner Verkaufsladen ohne Führung etc. Wir haben einige schöne Klippen/Küsten angefahren und in einem idyllischen Fischerdorf lecker zu mittag gegessen. Die Weinprobe bestand aus 3 Weinen und war nach 45 Minuten vorbei. Für den Preis hatten wir schon mehr erhalten.

The whole experience was enjoyable we loved the landrover defender we travelled in and the driver guide was brilliant all passengers mixed well and we had a fun day , scenery was outstanding and the final stop off at winery was refreshingly tasty . Only dislike was we was 30 minutes late being picked up , so a message from them could of been nice to say they wad on the way .

Liked the trip. Quick & easy way of seeing the centre of the Algarve. May be could have done with some more time at the cliff stops to go down onto the beach. We were a little concerned for the older people who had booked the trip & were on our mini bus. They had difficulty getting on & off it, plus 2 of the stops required using many stairs, therefore some mobility & fitness. Fine for us, not for them. They did not get the full benefits of the trip & maybe should have been warned before booking.

The guide (Victor) was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and skilled at leading the small group comprising the group of two Scottish and two Dutch clients. Great humour added into the conversation from time to time all worked well and helped bind the group together with some laughter and fun together. I particularly enjoyed the variety of things to see and learn about, thanks to Victor’s experience and knowledge of his homeland.

Gids Ton was precies op tijd en heeft ons een goede indruk gegeven over het leven in de Algarve. Mooie plekken laten zien, goed advies gegeven waar we kunnen lunchen. Het weer, in de middag regen, daar kan Ton niets aan doen. Fijne toer gehad.

Het is leuk om de Portugese wegen te verkennen en buiten het normale toeristische gebeuren te zijn. Er wordt ook verteld over de verschillende planten en bomen. Prachtige vergezichten gezien.
