Thai Muang National Park makes for a fascinating day trip from Khao Lak. Tear yourself away from the beach for this full day tour in the midst of nature. You'll visit a sea turtle conservation centre, discover fresh forest waterfalls and drift on bamboo river rafts. There's also free time on Had Lek Beach.After you've taken a peek inside Thai Muang sea turtle conservation centre, we'll make our way to Lampi waterfall. Surrounded by lush green forest and featuring three tiers of cascading fresh water, it's the ideal place to cool off and take a breather. Our search for serene nature trails continues as you're taken on a bamboo raft down a rainforest river.Lunch features Thai specialities cooked before your very own eyes. The food you'll tuck in to appeared in the Michelin star guide for seven consecutive years. After lunch, you'll head to Had Lek Beach. It's a slither of perfect white sand – an ideal spot for resting up after your lunch.

Det eneste der trækker op her er skildpadde centret. Rafting turen var ********** ikke som forventet. Vi troede vi skulle rafte ned af en stille flod i junglen, men der var byggeri på meget af turen og derfor rigtig meget larm og ikke så meget natur. Der stod frokost ville blive lavet mens vi så på, men den blev bare serveret.

Jätte kunnig guide, god mat fick frukt vatten o läsk så man behöver inte släpa med sig något drickbart. En trevlig dag kan rekommendera andra men kolla vädret för de va för varmt när vi åkte i april. Åk gärna en mulen dag om man åker samma årstid.

Overall the trip was brilliant, it wasn’t far from our hotel. The tour guide Non was fantastic. The best guide I have had anywhere. He was knowledgable, friendly and approachable. Rafting was still possible in dry season. The waterfall was stunning. Lunch was incredible and local. Please continue to use this company, they deserve this.

Super tur med et godt indhold. Mark var en fantastisk guide. Han formåede, med sin dejlige humor, at gøre dagen rigtig god. Han have en fin balance mellem at formidle viden og give plads til tid for os selv. Frokosten og miniworkshoppen i restauranten i den lille oase midt i Khao Lak var en oplevelse i sig selv. Mr. Kang var en excellent chauffør og bussen var en drøm at køre i.

Bra chaufför BAO, superbra, kinkig, engagerad och trevlig guide som pratade god engelska. Lunchen var trevlig med många sorter att välja på, kom lite sent dock k förhållande till starten av upplevelsen så barnen hann bli väldigt hungriga. Tyvärr var stranden inte i nivå med förväntningarna men sköldpaddscentret var större nu än väntat. Bra helhet 😊

Guiden Boyd var fantastisk och berättade mycket om resans innehåll, visade bilder på Ipaden å förklarade på mkt bra engelska, även chauffören Bau körde oss säkert å serverade oss kalla drycker. En mkt bra utflykt👍😁

Det var en fantastisk dag. Khao Laks natur är så helande. Guiden var väldigt kunnig och talade flytande engelska. Maten var jättegod och alla var så trevliga på restaurangen. Vi fick äta lokala rätter och lära oss mycket om deras kultur. Vi hade tillgång till kalla dryck och kalla våtservetter under hela resan. En väldigt avslappnande och lärorik dag. 10/10

En virkelig god tur. Turen på bambusrafte bød på slanger og kæmpe frøer. Besøget ved havskildpadderne var rigtig godt og Small Sandy Beach var et hit. Der var lidt meget køren frem og tilbage mellem steder på grund af ændringer, men intet der gjorde noget for helhedsoplevelsen. Guiden Boy var super godt og takke langsomt, tydeligt og meget vidende om området

Erinomainen opas toi lisäinfoillaan ja näyttämällä luonnosta eläimiä sekä kertomalla niistä lisää retken ehkä aavistuksen laimeaan tarjontaan. Pitäisin tätä retkeä yleisesti tutustumisena Khao Lakin alueeseen ja lopputuloksena jäi hyvä mieli päivän annista.

Sehr interessanter und abwechslungsreicher Ausflug mit vielen Höhepunkten und einem leckeren Mittagessen. Schön, dass man hier so viel für den Erhalt der Meeresschildkröten tut, da könnten sich viele ein Beispiel nehmen.

Bamboo rafting was great and lunch was really tasty. The guides communication wasn’t very good, didn’t understand much of what he was saying, the mini bus was very old and hardly any air conditioning. Overall seemed very expensive for what it was.

Guide som var ganska dålig på engelska och inte visste vad denne pratade om. Tur på bambuflotte mkt bra, fint. Fotbad/massage efter lunchen som dom nog själva hittat på att göra för att kunna sälja produkter till fotvård, ganska märkligt? Framgår inte av beskrivningen.

Paikallisopas puhui hyvää englantia ja myös muutenkin huipputyyppi. Meillä oli pieni 6 henk. porukka. Kaikki sujui hienosti, ystävällistä palvelua, maukasta ruokaa. Viimeisellä etapilla rannalla, uimatossut olisi ollut hyvä lisä. Aallokon alla teräviä kiviä. Loukkasin varpaani niihin.

Ein kurzweiliger Tag, unser Guide war wirklich super lustig und wusste viel zu erzählen. Der Wasserfall hat zu dieser Jahreszeit auch viel Wasser, was sich ebenfalls beim Bamboorafting auszahlte, was echt Spass gemacht hat. Einzig am Turtlerescuecenter hätte ich mir etwas mehr Information gewünscht. Unser Guide hat schon etwas erzählt. Aber ich hätte gerne noch ein paar Hintergundinfos gehabt über die Organisation etc.

Non, our guide, was fantastic. He was so informative and knowledgeable, he made the day fun and interesting. We had just the right amount of time at each activity. Lunch was amazing and the herbal foot spa after lunch was a lovey surprise! It was our favourite trip of the four we booked.

Our guides enthusiasm made the day, friendly, informative and seemed genuinely wanting to show us things, including stopping for a selection of roadside street food. Places that we wouldn't have found on our own, secluded bays, a great restaurant for lunch. And the rafting was another unique experience we will remember for a long time. Definitely recommended!

Tolle Tour, vom 9-16 Uhr- bomboo Rafting durch die Natur wunderschön, danach Wasserfall, Mittagessen u dann zum Meer. Ein Naturausflug mit ganz besonders netten Guide Messi, der auch prima deutsch sprechen konnte. Auch der Fahrer war sehr nett! Kleine Gruppe(8P) kein Massentourismus an den Spots ????

Päivä oli ihanan monipuolinen ja rahoille sai vastinetta. Erityismaininta oppaallemme Jamesille, joka teki päivän aikana kaikkensa, jotta viihtyisimme. Kuulimme paljon mielenkiintoisia yksityiskohtia kaikista päivän kohteistamme. Retken kuvausta tui:n apissa/sivuilla voisi parantaa - onneksi olimme pakanneet uimapuvut ja pyyhkeet, sillä emme ymmärtäneet kuvauksesta, että ne olisivat aivan välttämättömät. Myös kuvaus myös muista retkelle sopivista varusteista olisi plussaa.

We were fortunate that everyone else on the tour didn’t turn up, or the wrong language had been booked so myself and my partner effectively had a private tour. The guide was very informative, giving lots of information about the local area, and the tour was very much guided by us, which felt nice. The information given prior to the tour could have been better, I ended up having to run back to the hotel room to grab swimming stuff because this wasn’t communicated prior to the tour.

Non was the best guide spoke such good English and was so knowledgeable. He spoke about the country and explained what it’s like for him to live here. We had the best day we weren’t expecting all the things we did for example the foot spa and it was so much fun I would recommend this tour to absolutely everyone who can go

Our tour guide was amazing, so enthusiastic and full of so much knowledge. Bamboo rafting was incredible, however prepare to get wet. A few surprises throughout the day however we were back at the hotel at a decent time to enjoy our evening.

De bamboetocht was fantastisch! We werden gewezen op dieren die we zelf nooit gespot zouden hebben. Onze gids gaf ons gedurende de hele tour de vrijheid om aan te geven als we het ergens wel gezien hadden of juist wat langer wilden blijven. Hij vertelde ontzettend veel. Wel gaf hij aan dat de beschrijving op de site verouderd was en de inhoud van de tour iets veranderd was, naar onze mening was deze verandering overigens ten goede. De lunch was ook zeer smakelijk en de schildpaddenopvang leuk!

We thoroughly enjoyed our exsperience. Guide was friendly . Would recommend this trip. Only one critisasum itinary changed on the day leaving no time to visit the main water fall at the national park just two minutes stopping at a tiny water fall. Guide decided to take us to beach just before lunch everything was reversed **********

Unser Guide war super nett, hilfsbereit und unglaublich motiviert. Es war ein wirklich schöner Tag und den Abschluss am Strand vollendete den Ausflug. Allerdings sollte TUI die Uhrzeitänderungen in der App mitteilen, nicht bei den E-Mails... Wird nicht immer gelesen.

The bamboo rafting was incredible. It was so peaceful to float along the river and the abundance of wildlife to see in the natural habit was amazing; snakes, monitor lizards, dragonflies. The lunch was lovely, traditional thai which is always lovely. Our guide was helpful and really friendly. Catering to everyone's needs and adapting time at the waterfall and beach to the groups preference. The trip was a small group so time to enjoy and soak up the amazing sounds and sights of nature.

My favourite trip on our holiday so far! Non was a great host and we learnt a lot about the area whilst also enjoying the beautiful scenery, having a delicious lunch, and overall a really relaxing and lovely day. This was much less touristy and busy than other excursions we have done which meant we could really relax and enjoy the day without feeling rushed.

The river raft was absolutely beautiful and so serene. A must-do for anyone visiting. Absolutely fine for those who aren't confident swimming - the water is shallow and the raft is very gentle. We really enjoyed seeing the turtles at the shelter, and learning about them.
