The Algarve coastline is in a class of its own. On this boat trip aboard the Ophelia, you'll spot its most secluded beaches, eye-catching rock formations and fishing villages. Highlights include Ferragudo castle, Carvoeiro lighthouse and the iconic Benagil Cave. And to round things off, there's lunch on board with an open bar and fun water activities, too.You'll sail out of Portimão on this spacious two-deck catamaran and head eastwards. Pass a fantastical landscape of grottoes and strangely shaped rock formations that have been sculpted by the seas and winds over thousands of years. See the tiered 16th century Ferragudo castle – which cascades down into the sea – and the steep cliffs crowned by Carvoeiro lighthouse as well as the pockmarked rocks of Algar Seco.And for the blockbuster Benagil Cave, you'll get up close to admire this natural wonder – an open-domed cave that's become one of Portugal's most iconic spots. Transfer from catamaran to speed boat very unsafe with the small boat constantly moving and smashing into the catamaran. Step down too big too. Were not told how to inflate the life jacket and on transfer to beach were told not to bother doing it up at all. No seats on beach so if you have leg problems it’s difficult to get up and down to sand. Barbecue was good. Visit to caves was madness lots of boats trying to get in same cave! Good speedboat drivers though thankfully

Schöner Ausflug absolut empfehlenswert! Das Team auf der Ophelia gibt wirklich alles und sind toll drauf. Alles in allem sehr gut geplanter Trip. Wir hatten sogar das Glück auf Delfine zu treffen, die dann um unser Boot schwammen!!

Fantastische excursie, geweldige bemanning, mooie grotten gezien in de speedboot, respect hoe de bemanning de ouderen hielp om in en uit de speedboot te komen, het allermooiste was de plek waar we gingen BBQen, een privé strandje tussen de rotsen, eten was redelijk, in ieder geval meer dan genoeg

Ein sehr motiviertes und fleißiges Team an Board mit Spaß und guter Laune. Sehr empfehlenswert für Jung und Alt hier bekommt jeder was. Tolle Fahrt entlang der türkis-blauen Küste und tolle Verpflegung am Strand zum Mittagessen. Spaßige Bootstour mit den Beibooten zu den verschiedenen Höhlen.

De bus was perfect op tijd zoals afgesproken. De reis van Albufeira naar de haven viel mij wel iets tegen (55 minuten vanaf ophalen). We werden hartelijk verwelkomt aan boord en zijn goed entertaint door de gidsen. De boottocht is schitterend langs de kustlijn, maar het hoogtepunt is toch wel met de speedboot de grotten in. De bbq lunch op het strand is perfect georganiseerd. Lekker en veel. Voor en na de lunch ruim de tijd om nog te zwemmen. Zeker een aanrader! Heerlijk dagje op en aan zee.

We were one of the last families to board and struggled to find anywhere comfortable to sit to enjoy the outgoing journey. Half the boat got sea sick and we had to watch various passengers being violently sick (can't be helped but was a unusually large number of people amount effected) the shuttle runs to the caves took far too long. Saying that staff were great (10/10), music playlist on the boat was top notch, lunch was really good...Great to have shade on beach, shame sea was so murky. Xx

Not really suitable for children or those wanting a more chilled experience. Waiting time on boat for transfer to speedboat was far too long. Beach stay also too long in very hot weather. Children had to bake in hot upper deck as young drunk adults took shaded areas. Music far too loud. Party atmosphere felt unsafe. Attitude from the host was quite aggressive at first. They were however good at helping when my son was sick on board and the other staff really lovely with my daughter.

The beach bbq was excellent and the service was phenomenal, they really couldn’t do more to help and make it an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately on the day we went the sea was rough so we all got sea sick and only 1 of 4 of us could actually go on the smaller boats to the caves but this is no reflection on the experience. Overall we had a really great day and it was a highlight of our holiday.

Un équipage très aimable, drôle et aux petits soins. Les paysages sont magnifiques, Temps de plage très appréciée car plage peu fréquentée et le barbecue était généreux et délicieux. Je recommande cette excursion. Seul petit bémol : peut être un peu trop de passagers à bord.

Un peu trop de musique à bord. Musique un peu forte. Il y avait un groupe un peu trop bruyant, par rapport au reste des personnes et de ce fait cela a créé beaucoup de bruit. Cela ne dépend pas de la croisière. Et pas place facile à trouver quand on n est pas dans les 1ers. Cependant nous avons passé une très ********** journée, ********** ambiance, équipe très sympa, visite grottes très bien (même si un peu trop rapide) dauphin et la pause ensuite sur la plage avec le déjeuner très bien.

Le catamaran était super confortable et bien équipé : bar , toilette propre ,le personnel accueillant et professionnel, puis il y avait une ********** ambiance. Organisation du pique-nique et déjeuner impeccable ! Très bon rapport qualité prix ! J'ai juste mis un 9 pour la sécurité car pas assez de gilet de sauvetage pour le nombre des passagers, mais vraiment pour dire quelque chose car nous étions ravis de cette sortie !

We enjoyed the boat trip especially the speed boat trips into the caves, and the lunch was substantial. The sand on the beach for our lunch stop was very hot away from the water so bare feet are uncomfortable. Considering there were youngsters on board, some of the music on the return trip was a little dubious as it contained some explicit lyrics, some of which was foreign but didn't need translating.

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Our safety and enjoyment was paramount and the crew were friendly but also professional. The atmosphere was lively but also we were free to relax on and off the boat; the caves were adequately explained to us and on the beach, we were provided with the shade we needed and a very tasty meal. We also had just the right amount of time on the beach. All in all a great success.

De BBQ op het strand was goed alleen jammer dat er geen tafel en vooral stoelen waren. Als je wat ouder bent is het moeilijk met bord in het zand te zitten.
