Here you'll admire the Cathedral. Stroll among the narrow streets and winding alleys to reach via dei Fiorentini and visit the suggestive rock church of Sant'Antonio Abate.The next stop of your tour will be a typically-furnished cave house, that you will have the chance to visit. Continue along Via Madonna delle Virtù and Porta Pistoia while learning more about the Church of San Pietro Caveoso. Il tour dei sassi di Matera si è svolto secondo gli orari previsti toccando le zone principali della citta vecchia (unica mancanza il Duomo con il suo belvedere).
Guida molto competente e disponibile.
Si è aggiunto anche un evento musicale con la partecipazione di un anziano di Matera.

A parte il misunderstanding iniziale, poiché la visita guidata è stata annullata, siamo stati inseriti la mattina successiva con la guida Antonia molto preparata, tour a piedi esplicativo dei sassi ben fatto e in modo esaustivo.

Nonostante un pò di pioggia iniziale, ci siamo trovate benissimo, sia per la preparazione culturale dimostrata dalla guida Giuseppe, che per la originalità della sua "narrazione", che ha dato particolare risalto ad aspetti solitam. più nascosti ma profondamente veritieri ed utili alla comprensione.

Tour guidato che merita tutto il prezzo che costa, 2 ore di passeggiata tra i sassi con ingresso ad una chiesa rupestre ed una casa museo. Chiedete di Antonia, ovviamente bravissima (anche per i bambini), simpatica e con tanto amore verso il suo lavoro!
