Embark on this full-day guided tour exploring the shoreside villages of Lake Garda. You'll be picked up from your accommodation and driven to your first stop, Limone. Italian for the word lemon, Limone is famously known for its historic lemon houses. You'll wander the yellow-painted streets before boarding a public ferry for a relaxing journey across the lake.
You'll arrive at the Medieval village of Malcesine, which is home to Scalinger Castle, a 13th Century fortress that overlooks the town. The castles 31-metre-high tower is the perfect place to capture some panoramic views. A fantastic destination for food lovers, you'll stop here for lunch, too. With a mix of traditional Italian flavours and authentic dining options, there's plenty to choose from.
After lunch, you'll rejoin the coach and head to Bardolino, your final stop, known for its wine, olive oil and scenic charm. You'll have some free time to explore boutique shops, the lively piazzas and visit the Church of San Severo, a 12th Century Romanesque masterpiece of Medieval religious art. After a full day of sightseeing and exploring, you'll head back to your accommodation to unwind.

Our guide was a lovely mature lady I Thibk her name was Gabriella. She was very friendly, had a lovely way about her. The information she shared was second to none and made the trip so interesting as well as educational. She knew so much about lake Garda and spent so much time all around the lake sharing her knowledge

Knowledge and information provided by Gabriella was excellent she was professional and friendly. We had adequate time spent in all 3 locations which was perfect for a day trip. It provided us with a great insight of the lake and where best to travel in the future and make recommendations to our family and friends. The only downside was that I sustained a very large and painful bruise on my shin from a device the stuck out in between the seats on the coach, a forewarning would have been benefici

The trip was advertised as a boat trip but we were only on the boat for 20 mins and spent over 3 hours on the bus. The bus air conditioning wasn’t working properly either. Whist the places we visited were lovely we only had limited time as the bus was an hour late arriving. No sign of the rep so my husband had to go into our hotel to find out what was going on. The last place we visited was a waste of time as spent 1 hour there and then had to sit on the bus for over 2 hours to get back.

Visiting different places. Our guide was very informative. Loved the boat trip. A pity we didn't have longer in Malcesine as there were places we would have liked to visit but ran out of time. There wasn't much time in Bardolini either so we just went for a drink. We had about 3 hours in Limone so had to have lunch early as there wouldn't be time later. It may have been better to have just a little less time in Limone and a little more time in the other places or at least in Malcesine.

Did the trip limone, malcesine and bardolino, it was a lovely trip but seem to spend to much time at Limone so by time we get to Malcesine we only had just over an hour, but we said we would have lunch there as Limone was too busy, so didn't have time to look around, if we knew we had little time to start we would have got something before or on the boat, a little the same at Bardolino, but we didn't need to eat there but still only an hour so not really much time to look around

Brilliant tour to navigate Lake Garda and sit back and hear all the history from the lovely tour guide 'Mary Poppins' with her umbrella. Had 3 stop offs with time to explore and a ferry trip included. It would be better to try balance time at 3 locations. Limone we had over 2hrs and Malcesine only 1hr and Bardolino again just around hour. Overall highly recommend - relax with no worrying about connections and visiting 3 of the key towns ❤️ one word 'Amazing'

Our guide Yanis was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. The coach was well driven too. We had a good taster of the villages and the boat trip was fine. My sister and I are 74 and 76 years old and we did find the trip a bit tiring.

Guide was friendly, helpful and informative. Coach wasn’t great - seat belts were stuck/couldn’t pull. A ceiling panel fell down and landed on my head. Curtain rail at the back of the coach wasn’t screwed/attached and rattled all day. Could have done with less time in Limone and more time in Melcsine/Bordolina. Could do with information before booking about how much time is spent on the coach and which at which it’s sensible to have a lunch break.

We were given the wrong information, we spent too long in limone and not enough time in mascercine. Which meant we only had time to eat lunch the leave. The bus journey back to moderno took 2 hours, surely a boat back to moderno would have been quicker. Calling it a boat toor when we spent 20 mins on the boat and 3-4 hours on buses seems a little disingenuous

Guide spoke constantly on coach journey - far too much. But didn’t tell us the most important thing in the microphone in coach - where to catch ferry from limina. Such a large group , we never heard her and went to wrong place . Late ferry so only hour in the next 2 places each and all on coach - we expected ferries. Couldn’t see snyyhhnf really as not enough time in either.

The title of the tour is misleading. It does not convey that most of the day will be spent on a coach. “Lake Garda tour with boat trip from Gardone..” is easily read as a boat trip leaving from the southern end of the lake. The 20 min hop across the lake by ferry is hardly a boat trip. I feel I’ve lost a day of my holiday on a very misleading pitch. The guide was pleasant but reading out population and trade stats to us was very dull. Did not communicate status when ferry was delayed.

Too much time at the first stop, Lemoni, it would be better to cut this time by an hour and add that to the second stop, as by that time everyone was wanting lunch and there was only enough time for lunch and no time to see the town.

It was a really enjoyable day, the guide was informative and nice. You get to see three towns which are all lovely (in particular the first two) and the boat trip across was good and scenic. You spend a lot of time in the coach and a lot of time waiting around for people/busses/boats which was a bit frustrating, but still had a great day overall and would recommend.

From our point of you we found it to be far too long on the coach and not enough time at each stop off. I thought when I booked it would be more of a boat trip but that’s my fault for not reading the details probably.. If you don’t mind long spells on a coach this would be the tour for you but not us. Limone absolutely beautiful well worth a visit, the other two destinations we only got an hour tops so not enough time at to have a good look around. Our guide was very well informed.

The guide tho very informative was trying to give too much info and by the time she started talking about something we had already gone past it. By the time of the last stop all we wanted to do was return to our hotel. Then a 2hourdrive back.. Maybe stop at torri followed by ferry back may have been better.

Limone was beautiful. Bardolino was pretty but not much to see/do. The coach journey from there back to Maderno was very long. Possibly get a ferry back instead? The coach guide was great, very informative and friendly.

Was picked up at 9am with Elena as our guide very informative we arrived at Limone where there for 2 hrs very nice place and then the ferry to malceione but stayed only an hour would have liked to stay there more and then the bus down to bardalino stayed there for just over an hour enough time to have something to eat and drink .Make sure when you go to wear proper walking shoes as the narrow streets are cobbled and steep

We boarded the coach at 0920. The air conditioning was not functioning properly. The seats were very close to each other leaving hardly any leg room. The driver was very good and we felt safe with him. The guide very knowledgeable although at each location we were left to our own devices. It seemed like a glorified shopping trip not what we were expecting. Due to the amount traffic we left Bardolino at 1700 arriving back at our hotel at 2000. This trip was poorly planned.

Brilliant guide, very knowledgeable, and quick to deal with any of the groups query's Regarding the tour, would have preferred to spend more time in Malcesine and Bardolino,rether than 2 hrs in Limone . Bus driver was very safe and made the journey comfortable

We sat on a bus most of the time and only had one short journey on a ferry. We visited 3 towns but ended up killing time as we either didn't have enough time to do things we would have wanted to do or there wasn't much to do in the the town we visited.

It was great to experience other towns on the lake, especially Limone, but 3 in one day was too much. It would have been better to spend more time at Malcesine and to miss out Bardolino. We only had just over an hour in each of those places which was too short. It was a long, hot day and people were very tired coming home. Anna, the guide, was very helpful and knowledgeable with lots of information to share. However it would have been nice to have been left in peace on the way home to snooze.

As time got a little closer to coming, and we did some research about how to get to places, we were a little worried about the location. We decided to sit and listen to our rep Jon on the morning after our arrival. Jon was so knowledgeable and gave the group information about accessing other areas of the Lake, which put is at ease.
